    Your aisles are SO wide. At my Whole Foods distribution, there are INCHES between the lift, the pallet, and the racks. You have it easy, man.

      Same as mine, just few inches to others racking... Small mistake could make my life in danger, just happen yesterday when my friends reach truck smash at mine truck at really fast speed with no brake at all... Nearly cost my life

    Not hard when everything is lined up for you and goes on the second tier....in anywhere house I've been to everything pretty much goes on the highest tier and you have to drive back to the receiving dock Everytime you need another load

      Kenneth Hull , I agree. Second level, straight pallets, not scanning pallets and reserve. On top of that puts are easier than let down .

      Scanned into location beforehand. This allows for putaway errors, but that is why we conduct put away verifications as equipment operators. It's the industry standard.

    I worked warehousing Reach for 10 years prior to the career I’m doing now. Putting away is easy asf man empty racks 1 and he’s not scanning. Picking. Scanning lining up for counterbalance and tagging the PO is way more impressive

    I use this kind of reach truck for my warehouse consolidation, it moves faster than a regular propane forklift when snatching pallets in minutes, bare in mind I don’t want to go for broke on it safety is always a important thing for me on the job

      @@ManuelHernandez-gj9qd We have 5 hours to get the store open where I work and let me tell you, OSHA would shut us down. Forklifts are at max speed, drivers driving with their forks forward, some of the backup alarms aren't on. No job is perfect. You got the pallets up and you didn't hit anybody and that's what management wants to see lmao. You did an awesome job bro

    That's easy af. Try doing it with furniture. Where the pallets (skids) are all different sizes (54,60,75,80,88). Where they are stacked on top of each other, long, wide, uneven and even weighing a few thousand pounds per pallet (skid).This is a piece of cake right here..lol

    At my warehouse our aisles are so narrow we can’t even back out of placing the pallet on the rack we gotta turn out lol 😂

      We have a couple isles like that, most we can full get out, but there’s only ~6” or so wiggle room to turn around

    Im not sure why everybody is hating only mistake i see is him turning with his load up, other than that its a decent speed to be safe and be paced. Working in a warehouse somtimes it better to spread out time so you dont stand around

    You are not that bad for a guy who just started tbh but heres just a small tip for you,stop using the tilt.Keep your forks at a good angle and you will always be good to go.

      maybe he come from shipping, with a dockstocker you need to tilt damn almost everytime you move a pallet. I do it also. Its a reflex. I dont even think about it. Its not bad as the stuff on the pallet is resting on the guard.

      @@pascha4527 I use dockstocker,reach,counterbalanced forklifts and I lift very heavy pallets on a daily basis and I never touch the tilt,its useless imo but whatever float your boat I guess.

      @@alpe6228 most pallet I move with heavy stuff on it would not be level if you didnt reajust the tilt of the forks. You would need to be constantly tilted up enough to not be able to enter a normal chep pallet anymore. And no I do not exceed the truck operating limits.
      I really cant see how you manage that. Do you not load or unload trailers? How can you go up and down the plate without tilting towards you while still being safe?

      @@pascha4527 I never load trailers,I mostly work in the warehouse.I dont use the tilt,I keep my fork as tilted as possible I can so I can fit into the pallet(chep or arms are the same size) and most of the time my pallets are leveled enough so they dont tip over.The only times Im gonna either up or down the tilt is either because I take the pallet sideways or Im carrying double stacked pallest and it rarely happens.Keep in mind the fork has to be perfectly tilted in order to do this.Ive been driving forklift my whole life and I never dropped a single pallet.I work for a food supplier so pallets of flour or sugar are very heavy,chocolate boxes too.Even If I load a trailer,lifting up the pallet is fine just to clear the plate when you go down.Btw I 100% respect the way you work,if you feel safer like this keep it up.

      we often run double stacked pallets tho, sometime triple or quadruple if it can lift it hehe.

    Try doing put aways when the only space available is on E level double deep. Easy to do put aways that fast when you have that much open space.

    I used to do it faster than that! 500 put away in 8 hour shift when goal was 200! Making over 1000$ in incentive bonus pay a month

    Pretty "easy" to go fast on these for put aways when
    A.) You have MILES wide isles to move
    B.) You are only going to B level.
    I'd like to see him "GO FAST" putting them up in the top level using a double deep reach like I use 🖒

      I find that every workplace is different; where I work, it's okay to lift skids while turning, just as long as the skid is properly wrapped or secured.

      Where I work, you are forced to have the pallet in the air before turning. Its so narrow its impossible to be in front of the location straight, you need to have the pallet halfway in the location to have the space to turn.

    Fastest put away with HUGE isles, and all on B Level. My warehouse goes to seven high, narrower isles..
    They had you lined up and ready to go. I work in a Freezer, and sit downs are not allowed in there. But:
    Go you, that was quick and I wish it was that lovely for me.
    Btw* flat isles; no need to tilt unless you trying to flex your coordination.. which is on point btw

      Not hard to operate one but to be at a distribution center productivity level it can be ., places like mine require 15-17 replenishes an hour and like 25-30 put-always per hour

    Not very fast though it's not your fault. Your reach is limited. Crown RS7000 mono mast with Xpress lower makes all other Reach trucks look quite silly. That said well done with the put away; the skids are stacked almost level to the second horizontal beam. Hard to negotiate well but the mono mast has better visibility. I would want to work these skids from the right which is stronger visibility also for faster transition

      A fully Maxed out Raymond runs circles around a Maxed out Crown. I love both/driven both. The 7000 Series Raymond is wayyy Faster than the Crown RR5700. Both trucks are equally compared. Plus Raymonds steer alot better with that caster wheel connected to the drive wheel. Two wheels steering is better than one. However, Crown trucks are much more friendly towards mechanics/maintenace, and their service program is alot more dependable.

    You might be fast but not correctly fitting them in place. If someone bumps those pellets in the rack they could fall as you are going to far in. You should be locking them in place by the pallets sitting on the side walls of the pallet not the cross member. That way the pallets can't move back or be pushed out from the other side.

      You have to extend on the floor or you just smash into the pallet with your machine's feet. That's how reach forks work without counter balance.

The forklift course is harder than this. Trust me I've been driving for years and Cant stand to hate anything more than people who rush and try to be hero's.     It's not that hard to be that fast. I did it for 5 years and was able to do it that fast if not faster. But it gets annoying after awhile. I'll never be a full time lift driver again in my life. The work Is too repetitive
