They are fine boats. There are a godzillian of them out there. They may flex some but I have never heard of them breaking apart. It's a good starter boat. I find myself sizing down to one from a 30 footer. Smaller boat, smaller problems. Smaller cost. And they are exploring more gunk-holes than probably anything else out there. If you get yourself in a fix, just call 'boatus'.
mecgregor is not a very good sailboat they are like a mix between a yacht and a sailboat , they are very weekly build , i would not recommend sailing them in the ocean , just cruising in the lake. if your going to get a sailboat and you want to spend less money for a better boat buy either a tanzar or an alberg the are very good boats and have a good reputation.
