I love this! They turned out so good! Not only is it probably much cheaper than buying fabric, its a little more eco friendly upcycling thrifted items. Fantastic job!

Thank you for mentioning that refashions may not be perfect! 😊 I often try too hard but it’s much nicer to work with the quirks! I can tell your pants and shorts fabrics are beautiful and the color is so versatile. Love the seam-to-seam front pocket! -Addie
You look amazing. It’s not hard to tell you have lost weight. Such a difficult thing to do. I’m trying to do the same which is good timing for fitting the Duet Trousers. Hopefully I will have a very nice pair of trousers when I’m done with my muslims. You look great!!❤
I'm curious (or maybe nosey), do you buy your pre-owned garments online or in person? Either way have you concidered doing a video of the process? Does Brazil have a thriving consignment/thrift market? I've never bought pre-owned online but have enjoyed finding treasures at thrift stores and resale outlets, estate sales & garage sales. For adding to my closet or for restyling inspiration at a later date. There's one in particular that's a "Bin" store were all the reject donated stuff goes to for one of the thrift stores here that have about 8 outlets. The bins location is $1 an item I go to find interesting Notions or parts that can be reused just to get some weird sewing inspiration. There's always something interesting to bring home. But very exhausting digging thru about 20 massive bins. Is there anything like this in your area? My 17yr old g'daughter scored a wedding dress covered in crystal beads of various sizes and a massive train for a $1. It was never worn and her intention was to remove all the beads (she's into making jewelry etc). Unfortunately when she got it home and tried it on... It fit her XS frame perfectly. It's in a garment bag now, at the ready for a great costume or a wedding. Bahaha.
They are both great. It just depends if you want stretch (Crecendo) that are more fitted or woven (Allegro) that fit looser :) you can’t really compare them.
@@sewmytroublesaway they are super super different. The glissando have a fitted curved waistband and less ease (straight leg). The Tinley are pull up elasticated back with a wider leg fit. They have nothing in common.

I have a good friend who is about to undergo her final operation for breast cancer. She has decided to go flat chested rather than faff about with implants. She has some treasured tops and shirts in her wardrobe and I have promised to help her alter them to suit her new shape - she was a DD so the alterations will be quite drastic as her other body measurements have not changed. Can anyone recommend tutorials, video or written, to help me in my mission to support my friend through this enormous life? I can do an FBT well enough - never seen a No Bust Adjustment done 🙃
