I visit the Shoals every year, in fact, I just returned from a trip in August 2024. Now I realize why the ships don't go out there in the winter. I think of how the permanent residents of yesteryear coped with these awesome storms!
Great footage! White island and the shoals in general are one of my favorite fishing and cruising spots. Definitely a day to stay at the dock! Lol. Thanks for sharing.
What fun. I love watching the wild Atlantic from Star. My brother used to stay on Smutty Nose in the fall and make videos. But never a nice little storm like this. You are brave. :)

Made a visit to the labs many years ago to visit my nephew. It is hard to imagine the ferocity of the ocean.
