Interviewer talks way too much
Where to put your money when it’s not safe in the bank? How about a self custody, blockchain based currency, with a fixed supply?
Fred is a treasure. You can sense his frustrations with global economic policy in this one. I contest his view about not getting too biblical, though Faithful ppl bring about the change he desires, not reasonable ones. The economic rent cover up comes from the heart of evil.
The sad reality is that the real estate cycle has ended. The new book, The Bubble That Broke the Bank, explores the existential reality of a crashed real estate cycle.

Nonsense the contradiction is your claim that house prices are still going up. No they are not in real terms house have decreased 20% over the last couple of years.
Land registry data says UK prices did fall -2.5% (yearly change) at the end of last year. Similar to the yearly falls in 2011 after the financial crisis.

I love it. Every time Fred Harrison talks sense and logic, people chase risks and hedge bets. Within their circles of influence, perceptions change for the good-and-wholesome.
Really informative and interesting from Fred who has predictions became correct. Hope we have his views in the coming years.

The only land that is going to appreciate in the next 5 years here in Australia is good irrigated farmland. When the food shortages hit worldwide the big money will start pouring into farms.
We're on a global cycle, I was wondering about that. People still have to live somewhere.
