荒屋東部の獅子舞 The lion dance of Araya Tobu

富山県射水市の「荒屋東部の獅子舞」は、旧・新湊市、放生津地区に数多く伝承されている獅子舞の一つ。荒屋東部の獅子舞は、獅子頭が黒塗りの多い放生津地区の中では珍しい赤塗り。伝統の荒々しい舞を継承しつつ、他にない舞も毎年模索とのこと。
平成30年7月29日、富山新港開港50周年記念　第54回富山新港花火大会での演目です。
The shishimai (Japanese Lion dance) of Toyama is usually performed by Japanese Lion and the Tengu, long-nosed goblin, accompanied by bamboo flutes and drums as a prayer for household safety and a good harvest.
The lion dance of Araya Tobu is characterized by red head lion, mostly black in Hojouzu districts. Pursuing unique performance while succeeding to a traditional dance.
