This is one of the best systems out there! Each time I see some video of people practicing baji, I feel so depressed for not having a baji teacher near where I live and the same time, I can't stop watching...

Great video, really enjoy seeing training drills that emphasize closing the distance and using the entire body as a driving force

These are great combatives. Practical, vigorous, and to-the-point.

Baji practitioner here. Going to incorporate some of these drills into my workout. Going to also see how I can pull from the forms I know (Small Form and Big Form) and develop more drills like these. Good stuff!

7:29 Bajiquan i believe has also been as Paziquan or rake fist. Because of the raking motion used with the open palm strikes.
This style is meant to overwhelm and bypass the the opponents defense it truly is an Interesting and Impressive style.

Wow this is amazing to watch, i've never seen Baji application for real, only demonstrations. How would you condition your body for Baji? you seem to use elbows and your body a lot.

Conditioning for Baji is painful at first. I'm five months into learning the fundamentals and it's ass-kickingly painful at times. We condition the arms, shoulders and body with use of partners or against a tree. The elbow strikes, however, are landed in such a way so as to mitigate damage to yourself and maximize damage to the intended target. Very powerful, yet easier on the practitioner's body than even boxing when correctly applied.

I loved martial arts, it's a shame MMa killed (in term of popularity) them.
