I've just watched the video below and now I've a specific question about your statement, "But fortunately, the negative form is the same in general and specific situations in the past." because it contradicts an English school book I am working with where it says: "We stayed in our hotel, but the TV was broken, so we weren't able to watch TV." ??? Thank you Emma, you're a great teacher! And I'm not just saying that...
When I was younger I could understand English perfectly, but when it came to speaking I was terrified so I would just talk nonsence.
Today, my speaking and writing skills have improved, so I recommend to each every one of you not to give up and to make a bigger effort every day.
I am now able to talk about topics I find interesiting and to share it with other English speakers.
Ofcourse, I could have done much more practise when I was younger so the results would come faster, but who cares? I am doing pretty good right now :-) and I'm even enjoying it more.
Good luck to everyone and have a good day!
