Thank for your your comment. Unfortunately, I am sorry I cannot help in this regard. I use matlab for data analysis, data acquisition from instruments , I never need to convert 32bit to 8bit for my work, so I have no idea. Please check mathworks website.

Hi, to be honest I do not have any idea on how to import data from pdf file or image file in matlab ! Usually
to extract data from image file, you have to digitize the data. This can be done with many software like Originpro 9.0 or higher and so on.

sir i have matlab code for Automatic Car Valet Parking which i took from matlab website but when i try to load the data in workspace by command it gives me error 'Number of columns on line 2 of ASCII file data_file.txt must be the same as previous lines''

If the data has text, in older version of matlab it creates a problem. You may try other load functions like datenum
