Ambapani is an Ecotourism site located near Vyara town in the Tapi district of Gujarat. It lies on the bank of the river Ambika among the forests of the Dang district that borders wildlife sanctuary. The place is located at a distance of 86kms which takes about 2 hours to drive. Ambapani eco tourism/ Eco park is well accessible by road and you can reach the place using your private vehicle or via public transport.
It has been recently developed into a recreational spot but before that it used to be called as Ambapani Campsite. The facility hosts various activities such as play area/game, boating deck and treehouses that can be used by the tourists to stay overnight. The site is not yet developed and does not have resort like facilities. There is a small canteen available in the enclosure that servers meals during the day.
The temperature in Ambapani remains moderate throughout the year. The ideal weather to visit the camp site is during winters and monsoons. If you visit during monsoon you will be able to spot waterfalls along the road which makes it more scenic to capture stunning photo and video. It has some hill spots but do not expect valley/ghati views during your visit.
Ambapani Eco tourism contact number and Ambapani Camp site booking can be done through the official website of Gujarat Tourism. Alternatively, you can also book your entry tickets and tree houses on site. The fees for the site is as follows:
Entry Fee - 25 Rs per Person.
Parking Fee - 30 Rs for 4wheelers/ 10rs for2 wheelers
Tree house Ac suite- 2000 for 2/ 24 hours
Tree house Non ac Suite - 1000/2/ 24 hours
Boating - Subject to availability.
