- Here is the final shop along from our March 2021 Long Beach Antique Market shopping adventure! The hunger and fatigue was setting in, and even though we didn't see even half of the place, we had to head home to pick up our kiddos. But, it was an incredibly successful and fun shopping day!

Your hubby was very patient. Mine prob wouldn't have even gone in the first place, but I can guarantee he wouldn't have lasted an hour! Put him on the lake and he can fish for 8 to 10 hours, no complaints!
I’m just lucky that he wants to go there as much as I do to look for records and audio stuff! 😂 I have some fishermen in my family as well so I definitely get that 🙄😆

I saw one of those antique Easter eggs at an antique store recently for $45. I've sold one, and when I researched the prices, they definitely weren't that high.
Most flea markets have a higher price ticket that gets you in a couple of hours before it opens to the public. That's what I would have to do if only to avoid some of the heat.
Did you notice the napkin skirt lady? Those seem to be uncommon. That jack-o'-lantern guy was strangely adorable.
Next time bring snacks.
Yes they do an early entrance here too. Someday we’ll get to do that when our kids are older. Ain’t no baby sitters coming over at 5am 🤣

What sort of records does Blake look for? We have probably 10 boxes 60s-90s.
Classic rock mostly but also classical, jazz, blues... he loves it all.
I’m in Michigan and I get so much mcm I don’t have a place to keep it all! Especially during yard sale season, it’s so cheap. People around here think it’s junk and a lot of time just give it away.
I’ll be right there! 😂 Blake has family in Michigan and we’ve heard the same sort of thing from them. It makes sense since so much of Michigan boomed from the auto industry during the heyday of MCM. I’d love to drive out there some day and just load up our van! 🤣
@@MidCenturyWasted Girl, bring a uhaul!! We have two estate sales coming up in the next month....I'm excited to see what cool things we'll uncover. So much at the end doesn't sell so I get really good prices! I once found two Herman miller tulip side tables and re-sold them out west!
Do you ever haggle over prices? My husband tells me to always make a lower offer. Sometimes it works.
Usually only if I'm bundling and getting more than one item.

Not loving the blue painters tape price tags, between their color, your shadow, and shadows from the tarps, couldn't see any prices! I know you all flip items over to show makers marks and prices for us, which I love to see! But I'm still enjoying shopping along and I'm less than 5 min. in!
Usually I remember to add prices on the screen when they’re hard to make out, but I forgot to this time. Glad you’re still enjoying it anyway!
