HAZELL DEAN Does Your Mother Know MATT POP REMIX

British HI NRG Dance artist Hazell Dean has made a career out of her club anthems and her tribute to the super Swedes has also been a feature of a career that is now in its 6th decade! Hazell began her recording output in the mid 1970's but it was the Ian Anthony Stephens classic 'Searchin' (I Gotta Find A Man)' that really made her a star and certainly a fan favourite in the gay community. It was my entree to this great singer and I have all her dance recordings including the more recent ABBA covers. Matt Pop and Hazell Dean as Remixer and Artist go together like Macaroni and Cheese - perfect combination. There's heaps of other Hazell tracks on my channel - originals and covers. 'Does Your Mother Know' when released by ABBA in 1979 was one of the few bigger hits by the band that did not feature Agnetha or Frida on Lead Vocal - but Bjorn! In Hazell's hands and with Matt Pop's remix, the song has an altogether different flavour. I hope wherever in the world you are, it is a fabulous Friday.
