This movie is one for the ages...you know what's coming and you still aren't ready for it....obviously the cast and crew really pulled together for a labor of love...thank you for all the cast interviews
After watching late night with the devil when it was released on shudder in April. i watched it 3 times back to back, so im so excited that you were just as smitten with this film as i am. I am watching it again whilst i type this. Also david is from kansas ?!?!?! Im from wichita, and it just goes to show you that with persistence, and grindstones after grindstones. Anything is possible. i love this movie so much, that i made an intro and outro sample for a new song im working on. writing is my passion, and i wrote witchcraft a couple years ago... and had nothing for it, until i saw this movie and it sparked something in me and now i can confidently say that this new song is going to go viral. im a big horror fan, and a huge david Dastmalcian fan and just love that hes getting the recognition he deserves, and a lead role too. This movie is *chefs kiss*
I also talked with my wife because we were desperately looking for this movie. The trailer itself sucked me in. Im a big fan of the anthology movies "V/H/S/ i think why i love late night with the devil so much is it gives me a. it could be a tape on those movies. Me and my wife when we first watched we looked at each other and said let's watch it again and see if we missed something, i was able to catch the ghost of minnie while jack was speaking with leo in front of the mirror i pointed out to my wife who told me to rewind. This movie made me think "what happened", but not in a bad way but in a like i wanna watch it again and find it out!!!! We talked and talked about our own little interpretations on jack and what transpired that Halloween night. Which made us say that david himself should have a podcast or just a little phone line were people can call in and give their interpretations of the movie and what the hell actually happened at the end because watching it again for the 100th time i noticed the ending and it never reverting back to black and white when the show is off air, so now im asking more questions than the first time i saw it
It would be excellent if David could do a Fright Night sequel (to the originals) where he is a retro-inspired new host to a rebooted TV show. William Ragsdale could be the older/knowledgeable character that David contacts for help.
