Ernesto Javier Chevantón Espinosa, born 12 August 1980 in Juan Lacaze (Uruguay). 84 games and 34 goals in Serie A, playing as forward. From 2001 to 2011 he played 3 seasons with Lecce and a half with Atalanta. He is the all-time Serie A topscorer (32 goals) in Lecce history, above Vucinic and Pasculli (29).
With Uruguay he played only 22 matches (2001-2008), scoring 7 goals and taking part to 2001 Copa América.
