The Vintage & Classic Car Club of India (VCCCI) is one of the oldest and foremost vintage & classic car clubs of India since its inception in 1985. The Club has championed the cause of preserving automobile and motoring heritage in India. VCCCI is a community of passionate and enthusiastic vintage & classic car collectors who come together with a common aim of growing the community by the way of educating, informing and assisting enthusiasts when it comes to motoring heritage.
VCCCI annually holds a rally in Mumbai and this year I was fortunate to witness this beautiful event held at the World Trade Center in Cuff Parade on 12th February 2023.

I remember as a boy in the late 1950s being hauled around in Hudson taxis! The Ford Mercury were quite popular with their straight eight engines! Oh those days are gone forever. I still recall the burble of eight cylinder cars on the road. We replaced them with Fiat and Ambassador (a Morris in disguise). Nice to see some survived!
