Kafi acha idea hai. Lekin ek chotasa issue hai. 6 motors kyu lagani hai jab 2 motors se kaam hojayega. Dikkat esi hogi ki jab 2 motors pe gadi chalegi, to dusri 4 motors battery ko recharge karegi, lekin un 4 motors ka "regeneration" ka output 2 traction motors se kam hoga because of Lenz law. Secondly, un 4 motors ka weight ki vajah se zyada power ki requirement hogi for driving the car, matlab eventually, woh 2 badi motors zyada power utilize karengi. There is a reason why automobile manufacturers dont use such system right now, lekin I would like to tell you that, this is a good idea, think more deeply into this to make an efficient electric powertrain. Solar panel use karena ka idea kafi acha hai. Solar panels ko aage hood pe, roof pe aur sedan ke boot door ke top pe lagakar electricity generate kari jaa sakti hai. Mein actually Electric Vehicles pe ek book likh raha hu jo is mahine mein publish hojayegi, I would recommend you to read it, it will definitely benefit you to work on this project.

@@Vipergum you need to get a legal purchase bill for the engine from the manufacturer with a letter stating the reason about the engine swap. Then apply for updation in RC book. Certainly it should work like that but we dont have such system here because of the homologation issue.

That's hard to say, because old cars with new engines with proper paperwork are hard to find.
Just a small request brother i have tata sumo 1997 and my engine is done for its life so could you please guide what could be done to it ?
Well you can rebuild it. Tata being an indian brand, there would be high chances that the parts would be available. Also sumo had a good foot in the Indian market so I think you can still rebuild it. If you want you swap the engine, but as you already know, it is illegal, so rebuilding the engine would be safe and less expensive. Last option would be to convert it into electric vehicle.

You can but you will need to replace the engine from an authorized service center. They can provide you with the documents that will be necessary for the updating the RC. Also, consult the service advisor for this before swapping the engine.

Honestly, I don't have a proper answer for this. But I tried googling it, and from Team BHPs forum I learned that it is quite difficult to import one, it needs a lot of paperwork and it definitely has to be a new one. I think a custom's officer will guide you better than me and chevy personells would help you buy a new 632 engine, because you definitely need to show the purchase bill of a new 632 engine.
for automobile engineering which software shoould be learn
For CAD modelling you need to learn Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Creo, Catia, NX, Fusion 360. For CAE u need to learn Altair's Hyperworks, Ansys Workbench. For powertrain modelling Matlab-Simulink is necessary. This are some basic software skills necessary for automobile engineering, you dont need to learn each and every software mentioned, but havig knowledge about them is helpful.

Hope you are doing great. I have been watching your content on UA-cam since last 2 days and I felt you might be the right person to address a problem that I am facing.
I need your assistance/advice in this.
So the story is, we have recently bought Hyundai i20 Asta Petrol vehicle in Apr.,2022. In July, due to a mishap, i got my car filled with Diesel instead of petrol and i drove the car for around 1.5 kms and it stopped on the road thereafter. I actually didn't realise it was a faulty fuel and i took my car to showroom and told the whole story there. He tried to fix it by first removing the diesel and later replaced Oxygen Sensor and told me it was fixed. I was happy first as my mistake was just gone away with 12,000/- of oxygen sensor replacement. But to my surprise, my car started giving me very less mileage and the pickup dropped. When I went back to the show room stating this , he asked me to change the catalytic converter and he was still unsure if this change would fix my problem. So I got pissed off and tried to get my car repaired outside the show room and got a new catalytic converter fixed in my friends garage. Even after replacing oxygen sensor, catalytic converter, rail sensor, fuel injectors my car is still not repaired yet. The mileage still shows me around 5,6 as the average. Can you please reply to this your point of view and how to proceed further from now on? I am also thinking to sell my newly bought car if it's the only option left.

Hi! I am doing well, thank you for asking. Now in such cases, firstly the entirely fuel system needs to be flushed out, i.e. removing whatever is inside the fuel tank, fuel pipes etc. The fuel filter needs to be replaced because diesel is quite sticky than petrol. This is the go to procedure, but I still wonder why did the service center guy messed up the O2 sensor and cat con, that was not needed. You could have cleaned the fuel injectors and they could have worked fine, but replacing them was a good idea. Now there might be an issue with the spark plugs. As I said, diesel is heavy compared to petrol, it tends to stick with whatever comes in contact. Diesel would have impacted the spark plugs and they might be fouling. Secondly to be sure, change the engine oil and the oil filter, there can be chances that the blow by gases of the diesel could have spoiled the engine oil. I dont know if you did replace the engine oil after the incident or not, but you should. Once diesel is burned inside the combustion chamber there are chances of carbon deposition. Service centers periodically perform decarborizing to remove the deposited carbon. If your car doesnt perform well after replacing the engine oil, oil filter and the spark plugs, then get it decarborized. Also I would like to know if your car's Check Engine light remains on after giving ignition to the engine.

Yes it was my fault to have missed some details. Yes they have replaced spark plugs, engine oil, oil filter too.. And as you rightly pointed out, i can see the check symbol on engine in the dashboard . I forgot to mention about this check engine light in my above reply. Now can you please suggest me what do you think is the solution?
@@saisrikar7987 If the check engine light or Malfunction Indicator Light stays on even after starting/cranking the engine, then there must an issue with some sensor. If your friend's garage has access to Diagnosis Tools (SDT) then ask them to check your car's ECU. ECU must have generated some error code. If it shows a faulty sensor, it must be replaced.
@@PurvangMantri yeah they try to erase the indicator light with their tool. It goes for a 2 days and it again happens to reappear. The service centre guy started his diagnosis from spark plugs, rail sensor and later discovered cat con was faulty. Now he is saying that we would need to change piston /piston rings and it would be solved for sure. Thinking to go ahead with this change. Piston malfunction would lead to mileage drop is his saying. What do you suggest?

I see. You are a man of culture! So I designed that scale model and got it 3d printed. I have made an entire video series about that on my channel, if you are interested into watching that then it is titled as "Shrinked My Bike". Other than this, the 3D CAD models are available on GRABCAD and Thingiverse you can download them and get it 3d printed. Just a heads up, some parts are delicate and they might need to be manufactured using DLP or SLS printing method for better results and those methods can be expensive.

Hi there are many private colleges that offer a course in automobile engineering. Usually, I suggest everyone to pursue engineering from IITs or NITs, although they dont offer automobile engineering, but their course of mechanical engineering does have an elective subject of automobile engineering in the final year. Other then the govt colleges, there are alot of private colleges that offer automobile engineering, so if you come across a college in your hometown that teaches automobile engineering, then you better check its NIRF ranking, if that college ranks in the Top 100 Engineering Colleges in NIRF ranking, then you are good to go. Apart from this, naming a few colleges that are good and should check them out once are SRM University, Christ University, Chitkara University and Veltech, Chennai. These college have collaborated with ARAI Academy, so the students get to study the first 3 years in the college and the final year at ARAI Academy.

Inline 3 engine is worst. It sounds like a tractor or a diesel engine and the automobile manufacturers are looting the customers by giving such cheap, weak and rough engine even In cars supposed to be smooth like hatchbacks and sedans.

Yes, you can, but you will need to acquire an engine from Cummins and you will need to figure out mounting points for it in the frame of your off-road vehicle. I trust you are not talking about Baja, right..

You can install it but there will be a lot of challenges. For instance, harrier is not rear wheel driven, thus there is no transmission tunnel running from front to back. So if you install the V8 and use the stock transmission of harrier, you will need to fabricate the floor for the transmission tunnel. Secondly, you will need to make an adaptor plate for the V8 to mate with tharrier's transmission. Adding to this you will need to purchase an electronically locking differential and propeller shaft, or else you can use the entire powertrain of the LR and just focus on how to mount it and fabricate the transmission tunnel.

Hi. I feel you should just swap the transmission to make your fortuner automatic. It will be cost-effective and also this swap will be in the grey area of legality because there is no mention of the type of transmission in the RC book, but still, I would like you to consult with the RTO agents about this to keep the car legal. Either way, no one is going to notice the transmission to be swapped and in the long run, maintaining it wouldn't be a hassle.

Aur ek baar apke Jeep ke RC book mein apka naam lag gaya ho aur agar apne chassis aur engine mein zyada modification naa kiye ho yaa fir unko puri tarah se badla na ho, to apko koi bhi paperwork/document bananeki zarurat nahi. Iske liye aapko apne city ke RTO officer achi tarike se guide kar sakte hai. Lekin agar apne chassis yaa fir engine yaa fir dono hi change kiya ho, matlab do alag manufacturer ya fir car ka ho, to iss mein paperwork ki bohat dikkat hogi aur easily documents nahi banenge.

Technically you can, but I wonder why would you replace the E32 engine for a smaller one? I mean, E39 were powered by 2-3L I6 or V8s while the E32 was powered by 3-4L I6 or V8. And if you are talking about the current gen M5 and 7 series, then yes you can, M5 engines have better power output than the 7 series.

Hanji kar sakte ho. VXi aur VDi ki chassis same hi hai. Aur engine ke saath mein apko fuel pump aur puri fuel line bhi change karni padegi. Fir apko naye diesel engine keliye paperwork karna padega, jisme bohat zhanzhat hai aur abhi hamare RTO ke rules dhang ke nahi hai engine swapping ki segment mein, aur uski vajah se conversion ke baad wo gadi kind of illegal hojayegi road pe chalane keliye.
