No Gradual Pressing: 1:14 (these are run times, NOT video timestamps) Gradual Pressing: 1:12 Gradual Pressing + Bo sub: 1:17 could this be improved with a Wand/JB multiweapon? I remember Jet Intensity being very good for downs back in the day. I'm not sure if this is still the case or not. Either way I think it's safe to say Bo sub still sucks at causing downs. Enjoy having Fi sub though. This was an interesting video.
Bo is too good at causing downs. Without jetboots it can get you into trouble. I wouldn't track run times, and focus more on when downs occurred and what things were skipped. Due to the weapon mot being full affixed or the potential variance and crit plays a greater roll in the times. Although bo would still be slower withoutbJB in this case.
@@Einhander There will always be variance with things like this anyway, but run times still help to figure the total value of the EX augments. I've personally been running Gradual Pressing, Tech Arts PP Support, and Gradual PP Gain on DS/TD Fighter with Slayer sub and I have seemingly infinite PP in the new Nameless City outside of Julien chase moments. That said, having the bosses get downed faster in such a quest helps to keep everyone in the room alive while also increasing Fighter's damage due to the damage boost against downed enemies. For Fighter specifically, I'm fully in support of this Augment's use, but outside of Fighter, it just seems like you'd get more damage out of counters anyway since they're the top DPS skill in terms of damage, usually by double any of your PAs. This means downs are actually reducing the amount of damage you deal (not including BREAKs in UQs), and is the main reason I don't think Gradual Pressing is good outside of Fighter. Even for Fighter, I'm not sure if something else would be better. You'd need to cause more than 30 downs in a single quest for the next-best augment to overtake Gradual Pressing. Even in Nameless City, I get (at most) 10-15.
Hm. I know for sure I was gonna go Bo sub/Gradual Pressing with my Force, but now you got me thinking with Techter. Atm, I'm running Slayer sub on Techter. What do you think I could do with EX augs on that sub?
@@themoguntian4917 Each additional elemental down requires 1.75x down gauge build up compared to previous one, and this number ramp up quickly. You may or may not want elemental downs too early, unless you are sure you can fit an additional down later when it is needed. ^^
Wow that is just amazing game play! Very nicely done!

The GOAT techer being the GOAT again.

For Techter I think go to is:
Gradual Press / Burn / hysterical strength
Or gradual press, tri shield, lively hp
Does this Augment count for magical down too?!
Yes magical down would be element down.
@@Einhander Thanks, for the quick response! So this is also good for Force or any other class to help down Bosses.
