I did not knew about that, because I don't like spoilers. Like, going to fight Hacate or any other boss right away would completely obilirate my story experience, so I kept my Charlotta at lvl 40 with her weapon maxed out and near perfect glacio eches from 1.0 that gonna go back to Sanhua as soon as I get Glacio 2.0 cr+cd echoes. Honestly, she was still doing enough Vs the story content. I never had any problems with farming bosses, tho. You can do it only 4 times/day to burn your daily stamina anyway, and recharging stamina with astrites would be good only for that 1% of players, the biggest whales. And as for the resets to echo farming, you can literally kill every single in-game boss (except the weekly ones) in 10s with Camellya + Jinhsi combo, so they would either have to lower the Echo drop rate from them - which would hurt people without Camellya and/or Jinhsi, or limit max amount of echoes you can drop from them, which would hurt us all. Personally, I don't mind to leave it as it is right now. Im farming them while doing something else irl, anyway.
3:17 It's worth noting that this is only true for now. In future, bosses could themselves be spoilers, so it's a good idea for them to warn you about this to cover their butts. Imagine walking into a fight with the Shorekeeper -- it would be a massive spoiler even if you don't see any cutscenes
For sure! It's a good warning, but the point I didn't make clearly is it makes you think you might see entire story cutscenes. It could be a little clearer. Especially since not taking advantage locks you out of convenience.
tbh i dont really see it. since it doesn't have any cutscenes nor dialogue, it wouldn't really be a spoiler. but what WOULD be a spoiler is the look of the boss itself, since we can still see their icons and they would probably be showcased by kuro before release. i mean, hecate herself was kinda a spoiler that we're gonna fight phrolova..
@ST4RC4SM Yeaaaaa, everyone saw her color and design in the trailer and pretty much instantly realized she was somehow connected to Phrolova or atleast the fraccy gang as a whole.
Fun fact: If you enter an early access boss while in Rinascita, even when you've just arrived there and haven't even completed the first main quest from Rinascita, you'll automatically unlock the Fly Gadget. I don't know if this is a bug but happened to me '-'
I got the flight gadget unlocked when I entered the Cathedral of Mercury (before going there in the story lol). However I saw from Asmongold video that he unlocked randomly when exploring Rinascita. So I am not sure how it works. 😅
I unlocked it after restarting the game while still in the early parts of the map, I was able to use it to fly around the area briefly, after that I then continued the main story and talked to Phoebe since I don't want to spoil the map for myself.
something a lot of people might not have noticed, there are little gardens of sword acorus all around sentry construct, so while you are waiting you can collect some the flowers needed to ascend carlotta
@ReinSchneid It's only like a total of 6-9, but getting those can potentially help. However Ragunna City is the best place for the sword acorus as it has way more scattered throughout the city.
I didnt even know you could fight a instance version of the boss because i waited until the story introduced it for me to farm it, only did that because i was scared of being spoiled, only to find out there are no cutscenes lmao.
I never really minded this. I hit the boss, teleport away and explore, go back again after a few minutes of exploring and go back to exploring. Might be not optimal but works for me.
I just chill in place and watch a video. It's a nice way of taking a break from constantly fighting if i need too. It does become slightly annoying when you need to do it like six times squared by the end, but at least if you pace leveling yourself and don't rush, it's pretty ok to relax and chill during the waiting time. I will say, as someone who also plays genshin impact, the new 10 second cooldown along with the instant respawn makes it feel incredibly quicky to get boss materials. If I had to complain, it'd be the repitiveness of fighting the same boss over and over and over and over for one character at the least. Some most open world gacha games seems to have in common.
I agree. On Echo runs, I usually just TP away, do another 2nd boss I want, come back to the 2 min respawn timer already done, and then nab the 4pc echo I want because it'll 100% trigger the echo pity system. Farmed 200 Lampylumens and Inferno Riders this way. Having that respawn timer pushes me to fight multiple bosses instead of doing only 1 over and over again for the same result (which will be the case with instant respawn), otherwise I'd have gone insane lol. On casual runs? I just chill and whip out UA-cam
….I feel like it says a lot about 2.0 that these are things we are complaining about. Ok, I can agree that it’s a tiny bit annoying waiting for the boss to respawn…but not terribly annoying? I don’t really mind it. I beat a boss and do something else for a seconds and then before I know I get out of my character menu and the boss is back again. Idk, not too bad imo but I’m sure Juro will change this if enough people give feedback on it. Also, I like that Lorelei only appears at night. Anyone that doesn’t wanna sit on the chair, remember we can change the time of day by using the clock feature in our menu.
I actually don't mind the re-spawn cooldown, I'm usually building multiple characters so I'm farming several bosses. Switching between them helps breakup the monotony when farming
Here's my opinion: Limited early accsess 2.0 bosses for new/lower level players that doesn't have respawn cooldown after beating them may sound unfair which favors new/lower level players, but you have to remember that the new players need LONGER time to beat those bosses than high level players. You literally said it that it would took a good solid 9-11 minutes just to beat one of the limited early accsess bosses right? Then high level players would already beat them 3-4x in that span of 11 minutes. If people are bothered by the 2 minutes cooldown for a boss to respawn, then they could just ask Kuro to cut it down to 1 minute.

And no matter how much they get, they will find more things to complain about. WuWa could become an iddle game that showers you with resources, and they would keep on making videos about how X or Y would be needed for it to become a "better game".
i think this is bikeshedding. it super doesn't matter. the weekly bosses being counted together and capped at 3 is infinitely more limiting and frustrating.
The weekly boss being capped is a balancing mechanic. You can argue the boss respawn timers are too since it limits how fast you can farm them, but the existence of "early access" throws that out the window. If they keep the current system I might just skip future story and use the early access until it's gone. It's much more efficient after all.
Yes. Yes. Yes! While I do not mind the 3/week limit, increasing that to 5 would provide a larger impact on leveling characters than this 2-minute cooldown. Especially since the bosses have a pity of 2, which allows one to switch ti a different boss, defeat it, and then go back to the one we are farming for.
@AuthorityCat We are going to get more weekly bosses and more characters for that said weekly boss. You can farm whenever you want for equipment and you're done. You have to wait a WEEK instead of 2 mins for character material. Impatience people really exposing themselves.
Kinda is but also a good way to incentivice people for not spending too much time in the game too much.😅 Like that is kind of good if you have other hobbies to spend your time and not have a gacha game hog all your hobby time
Mostly a non-issue. What you are looking for is an instanced boss fight that is easily accessible from your guidebook feature. Which they happened to implement early access in a way that you can fight those bosses through an instance generated through an easily accessible interface If, for instance, they decided to give a role to a dedicated NPC or a specific arena area for this instead... you wouldn't be complaining about the 'loss' of a new QoL feature due to story progression. It would just be a convenient alternative to what already existed I'm actually surprised how quickly they added this in. Did someone else ask for this feature? How many? o.o;; I only asked during one of the more recent feedback surveys, probably during Shorekeeper. I'm super impressed they pulled it off and implemented it so quickly
I guess you don't understand the feature. It is what it says, Limited Time Early Access. Once you fight the boss where it actually is, you can no longer do the instanced version. Meaning no, they did not add the feature yet. If they actually added the feature, you would be able to do any boss in an instanced version. There currently is no possible way to fight any boss in an instance except for Scar, Dreamless, Jue, and Hecate. I made a comment myself explaining how they can do it, and it's by utilizing what they already have in place for Crownless; an interactive object for their Tacet Fields.
I really dont mind the the Lorelei Boss fight, fighting her only at night is really neat since you know she's Queen of the Night.. I think that's actually an awesome tid bit for her, maybe Kuro can do something about it to make it faster to switch to night.
@@Selv536 funny thing is, I'm pretty sure just sitting on the chair might actually be faster than going into the menu, clicking on the clock, switching it to a time of day you want, then exiting the menu just to get to the fight.
yeah, the complaint here isnt early access being taken away, its the absence of a restart button. they added it to weekly bosses and also redid tacet fields, so its only a matter of time it comes to overlord bosses too.
I think you might have missed the point of this video. It's not about the access, it's about being able to instantly respawn the boss. That said, tbh, it's a complete non-issue unless the player has ADHD or has way too little time.
I like the restart in early access but It didnt bother me that much even after I complete the story because I think the timer is common thing for field bosses in RPG games and I see them as similar to field bosses.
agreed I don’t see why it should be a complaint, in the daytime I go their to take photos of the pretty scenery and I wouldn’t be able to if lorelei spawns during daylight. walking over to a chair doesn’t even take that much effort so I don’t understand the reason behind this is getting criticised, if anything I actually like it a lot
It's not that big of an issue, but, it is indeed an issue. I hope Kuro addresses it by 2.1 or 2.2 because at the end of the day I love quality of life updates.
Tbh, this "Early Access" for some farm bosses is good and all for sure... But at some point it could be a MASSIVE spoiler drop! So... I think it's best for them to just put a big Warning and hide it somewhere if they keeping it and then make the Farming Bosses on real overwold actually resets faster Games like these are always sells on the stories so... As the consumer i don't really want it at all Imagine if you just want to build your character that's just released and then you fight Fleurdelys without any context 💀 I don't want that happened to me...
Yep if people fought the boss too many times already they basically won't be surprised at all ehen they get to fight it in the story since you know all the gimmicks already. I can agree on having the respawn star thing for the bosses though.

It really is so simple. Tacet fields are already instant and "early access" exists. Kuro could make this change overnight. The reason they don't is because they want to force you to "play" an extra 5 minutes you otherwise wouldn't have. That's literally all the timer adds to the game, or in my opinion, what the game takes away from me. People defending it sound so stupid too. Multiple people in this comment section alone admitted they alt-tab to watch videos while they wait. Can you guess what a developer would call that? A pain point. You just forced your player to literally leave your game in the middle of a play session. THAT'S BAD GAME DESIGN.

The respawn of the bosses is 1 minute. I have tried counting the seconds by using Verina's skill and it took almost 6 skill spams for the boss to respawn
First the Lorelei boss is a reference from a song, and the story behind it take time in night, so cant do that Second, the overworld bosses, if that applied then the world feel less alive, wuwa will not be open world anymore (for ex the game will be pgr 2nd, like literally)
I can understand for new players, for me I don't have that issue I just kill and and go collect other mats like flowers and then come back to it. It could be because I am use to it by now. But I can clearly see why some want the timer gone even for new players that just started on the ps5and feel for ya all, Think their plan was for new players getting the new 5 stars with the instant fights was to help you level up faster and to help but now comes a grind you need to and it's gacha game sadly, but hey I do hope it changes to the way it was for you all :), have nice day/night and happy new year to all!
That's weird. Last I checked, I finished the story completely, but the game still asked me if i want to do early access for it. I don't really use this feature since I like building characters after i finish the main quests, but I didn't know it disappeared for people. Wonder if it's a glitch or if mine is glitched?
OK Maybe I'm being a little naive here, but if you progress through a story, fight a boss through the story. Why would you continue to need early access for it? Besides truthfully, there are too many things to do now. 2 mins is not forever. Unless you're one of those people who decides not to sleep for 5 days and try to run through everything all at once. So that way you can complain that you're bored. Instead of complaining about the early access, what she should have said was Hey Kuro Games do us a favor do what Genshin did. the minute that you leave the immediate area from the overload boss. I can see your point. When levelling up a Resonator, it takes like 46 boss material to raise them to level 90, considering one run drops ~4-5 materials, it definitely feels like a lot of the time is wasted on waiting. Would be great if it gave us the option to reset to eliminate the waiting time. And I do agree on Lorelei's boss; Many bosses and even Tacet Field can manipulate weather, so why is Lorelei the one without this feature? I think a good way around this is by giving Lorelei a buff or bonus reward if you fight her on in-game nighttime. But on the other hand, it feels trivial. Early Access is no more, because you are already accessing Rinascita. As for the 2 minute timer, while I do agree it's a bit tiresome when grinding for character materials, I just do other things while waiting for it. Taking a break, eating, check on socials, hunt for 3-cost echoes... I'm not really bothered by it. If I want to talk about "nerfing character progression", I'd talk about the weekly claim limit for Calamity bosses. Really, is there any reason to impose a weekly claim, other than replicating Hoyo's system? Waiting a week just to get 9 materials just to upgrade, what, 2 or 3 skills at most? This is more pressing to me than waiting a measly 2 minutes.
I think most people agree that it could be changed and it would be nice. The problem people have is all the over-dramatization of this issue. People calling it horrendous, people saying Kuro is forcing them to leave the game, even this CC calling it punishing

tbf - afaik you cant get a character maxed out in one sitting. the limiting factor is not waveplate/boss drops but actually collectibles. To get all the ascension materials you need 1-2 resets so collectibles can reappear. boss drops on the other hand also equal about 720 waveplates. overall the time investment you have farming the corresponding boss and getting the other materials all fall into the same timeframe for f2p: 3days.

For the reason why after story early access the Bosses have spawn time is because at the first place that's how World Boss work on wuthering waves, Changing that means you need to change all the overworld bosses system in the game not only in the Rinascita but also on huanglong. Whilst for Lorelei her Bgm and her lore is basically "Queen of the night", maybe kuro makes it you can only fight her in the night to match the Lore, I mean player that plays the game isn't just a player that enjoy the combat, and Also Lorelei echo set is just for 2 character for now which is danjin and roccia,you can still used old havoc set too for danjin, and it's not that really important for Roccia too if you want her to be a support since there is still moonlit set for support. Making it where you can fight her at day is basically breaking her lore as "Queen of the night".
It's just my opinion, but sometimes you don't need to change everything to match the players need, I mean kuro already changes a lot of thing that player want. Farming bosses is a pain but at least you can fight it infinitely, And letting kuro makes something that are interesting like Lorelei boss fight is one thing to appreciate Kuro working on something with amazing details.

Kuro Games is already a company that makes millions. We shouldn't make excuses for the billoinare Hoyo but neither for the millionare Kuro. That just leads to stagnation over time. Really doN't get why anyone would be against this simple QoL.

LMAO I thought it was early access for people who wanted to lvl their Carlotta, Hecate dropped the the weekly mat and Construct dropped a mat needed for weapon. Hecate spawns like any other weekly calamity and Construct like any other boss, the timer isn't even that long 😂 the small QoL for this is the sharp notification sound that goes off once it's spawned back in, regardless if you're in the menu or resonator menu.
They also need to remove the weekly cap on bosses. The fact I have to wait 3 weeks to max out a character that just came out is stupid. We already have AP to time gate us so they should do like how Zenless Zone Zero does and give us three free fights every week, then we have to use AP for any attempts after that.

it's 1:30 or 1:45 minutes to be precise, My temporary solution is literally to just sit in that boss spot and pause the game, watch some UA-cam shorts, then come back. The boss will still respawn without you needing to teleport away and back.
So basically the solution is to just give them the same insta reset option like a tacet field, and an adjustment to Lorelei to have her manipulate the time automatically. I was gonna say that I didn't mind the 2 min wait time because it gives my brain a break, but i did realize that it is a pain in the ass to farm boss echoes for this same reason.
I never tried early access for me boss fights are an integral part of the story and i dont want them to be spoiled. I think a very simple solution would be to just have a restart interaction point in the middle of the boss arena like there is for tacet fields, supershort spawn timers can lock players into boss arenas cause unlike 1.0 bosses, many 2.0 bosses lock their arenas and u cant just fly away from them. That i feel could be annoying.
First time I saw in gacha game this "limited time early access" was from PGR, I was confused then I understood how it made me even more motivated to know more about the story haha ! That's a great move they did
@mightymanatee5342 You walk into the area where the Tacet Field and you're put in a new area without a loading screen. The enemies respawn and you kill them as usual, once you clear the Tacet Field and claim you're rewards. They instantly respawn back for you to re-do the activity. No need to interact with it.
Early Access was great and there is nothing to criticise about, e.g. I did not have the time to play the entire story due to the holidays but I was still able to get my Carlotta to lvl 90 without any problems. Now I can play the story with a maxed out Carlotta and I am having an absolute blast =) Boss Respawn timers have nothing to do with early access bosses, the timers were a "problem" long before 2.0 and the instant boss reset during the early access just made that problem more visible. From a pure farming perspective the respawn timers are super annoying, but from an "immersion perspective" it does make sense that bosses do not respawn instantly once they are defeated. The truth lies somewhere in between, but as long as a boss is a part of the open world, I think at least a small timer has to exist. Does not count for bosses that appear in a separate realm like Dreamless, Scar, etc. PS: Lorelei's night mechanic is just annoying and does not make any sense to me xD
Personally, I don't mind the 2 to 3 mins of waiting time for bosses to respawn. I can just pause the game, alt tab and watch something on UA-cam or just hop to another boss for fun then go back to the main boss I'm farming. As for the Lorelei boss fight, I like the gimmick that she only appears during night time and it only takes a few seconds for it to skip the time when you sit on the chair. But yeah, i get the reasons in this vid. I do have a question. The pop up message that says take a break cause I've been playing for more than 3 hours long. Is there a way to disable that? It gets in the way when I try to do some cool stuff in immersion mode :)
I don't think there's a way to disable that pop up, it's a relatively new feature 🥹 I feel you though, it's very tragic when it pops up and I'm recording a cutscene!
i think a simple fix would be to add a button that instantly respawns the boss. Not after you claim the rewards cuz thats a big punch to the face for echo farming, but maybe a prompt of sorts, interactable F key spot or the P key thats usually used to end the shooting or parkour challenges.
Thanks for letting me know, I used up 2 of my Boss attempts on Jue so I only got 1 attempt on Hecate the week of release, but then I was going to try to finish story this 2nd week of its release and build Carlotta periodically as I finish story but now thanks to you, I will focus on Carlotta 90 lvl and 10/10/10/10/10 before I progress in story, which will take me till 3rd week now but I am in no rush. I think what should be done in a way thats fair is that we should have that early access arena for about 2 weeks for the new resonator. Kind of how it is for pgr where we get a stage to farm for mats. I do understand the frustration of waiting because maaaan I hate waiting for construct for a healing main stat ;~;
Ngl this isn’t really much of a problem for me, I really think there’s so much other stuff you can do in those two minutes, plus, I’m saving all my pulls for Geshu Lin or Scar (whenever they come out), so I don’t need the upgrade mats. If anything, I’m regretting wasting a weekly challenge pull on Hecate, since I don’t really use coordinated attack based characters.

I'm not the type of person who grinds for the best possible Echo stats/sub-stats, so I don't mind the 2 minute wait. WHAT I CAN'T STAND HOWEVER IS ONLY HAVING 3 ATTEMPTS ON THE WEEKLY BOSSES PER WEEK! Building characters is annoying because after level 6 you need 1 boss drop material each time you want to level up a skill, and you only get like 9 drops max per week! I think you need like 25 boss material drops in total to get all the skills to level 10, which means to get just one character to have all level 10 skills, you need to wait for like 3 weeks! And for a team of 3 that's 9 weeks in total!
That, indeed, is a higher hurdle to leveling. Increasing the weekly bosses to 5 would have a larger impact on players than tinkering with the respawn timers.
I loved the idea of it tho, it's amazing, You don't need to rush the story in one day just to start farming, You can farm while taking your time enjoying the story
Thats only if youre farming for a few imagine farming for echoes and its ur 20th one u wouldve been waiting for 40 minutes almost an hour just for 20 pieces (assuming it drops everytime)

It’s definitely one of the lesser frustrating things though, all things considered. Being a gacha game, there are and will be time consuming mechanics. That being said, I wouldn’t be surprised if they reduced the boss spawn time still
i was asking the boss reset feature for long ago (even when some of our people mock me for being impatient), glad to see they atleast put it on limited access. Hope they add the fast reset on normal boss fights though
I mean, if the early access lets you also farm the echos of the bosses, it's a little sad, that we don't have that feature afterwards then, but I farm all of the new bosses 1 after another anyways, so Idk. Obviously it's better to keep that feature, but it doesn't really make the game worse for me tbh. Just my opinion
tbh i don't want that happen to the game cuz there will be tryhard player that spam farm bosses for echos, and after tryhard too much they will get bored and will have a high chance to drop the game, so that's why i feels a 2 minute cooldown is a decent thing to help the game

mind if added some more detail : not every players love being sweaty in battle pushing various buttons like street fighter battle game. so, for new players who are just get into this game, kuro added some help to raise the character level, while experience players can choose whatever. new players prone to rage quit when they got trouble in hard battle. . im giving you example in genshin : if you get inazuma characters from gacha and you are new players like rank 20, you WONT be able to raise the character level beyond 40 even if you have reached rank 40 but have not unlock inazuma behind the 5 chain long quest (more if the boss is locked behind inazuma quests). this also applicable for characters that needs boss drop from large worm in chasm liyue
honestly this time this seems way overblown of an issue.. 2 minutes is not that long of a wait .. i'm farming nightmare inferno raider simply pausing the game and doing other stuff till i hear the convenient respawn sound, for most other stuff you will be out of waweplates after 3-4 run anyway
Well, what if you're farming for its echo? Not the material, since farming for echo is pain since it's RNG, it might take dozens of try or even maybe hundreds of time who knows? And farming echo doesn't need to consume waveplate
@ the spawn time is there that way you don’t get your ass handed to you when you’re gathering resources, because unlike other games, the boss will just straight up come back to life on top of you if you’re still in the arena when the timer goes down
IMO 2 min timer its not bad at all... with all good features they constantly optimize, this is very far from being an issue. I think you should be gratefull by the 0 respawn timer for early access rather than complaining about 2 min timer
This is the problem with chronic complainers. They will complain no matter how much you give them. Two patches ago, they complained about lack of materials. Kuro showered them with materials. Yet they kept complaining they still needed more materials. There is no way to make them happy.
I don't really have a problem with the boss respawn timer. It's actually just 1 minute. After killing one I just go to the other and go back and its up. If not, I go to another one until the one I want spawns. I don't hate that other players that still have limited early access and can use its full potential. But maybe it's just me cause I don't really rush and I do what I need to do first and then do the story when I have nothing else to farm for or bored. I mean I also want to farm them early but eventually we're gonna have a downtime after finishing story/exploring and this is what happened to me before 2.0. I run out of things to do cause I rushed everything. So I decided in 2.0 to take my time with the story but finish limited-time events before they end.
The limited time early access is just from not encountering the boss in question. Once you completed the story you no longer need early access they're just there. The early access exists so that you can farm for Carlotta and have her ready before the story begins

@@pegeta Of course they do, they have families to feed, but it's obvious they also want to make a great game. If they only cared about money, then they really don't need to do all of this listening. A particular game has already taught us that you can go for years making billions without listening to your players. So it's not just about money, it's about customer satisfaction too.
I kinda don't think they're tired of listening quite yet, but I definitely agree that they should get some rest and we should let them get some good rest. They've DEFINITELY earned it I'm super impressed with how they've already implemented the early access system. How many people were asking for this to have it implemented so soon?! Has nothing to do with the story, the early access was time limited, which it said in game at the page were you could find it. That is way it said "LIMITED early access"

Whats funny to me is that Carlotta is so broken that at level 40 C0 + her weapon + a decent set of attack, crit & glacio echos, she does damage nearly on par at level 40 as my level 60 rover lmao

i don't have a problem with that tbh... it's called early access because you access it earlier... so after i encounter them in story, it's no longer early access anymore it's already become 'full release'... so i'm fine with that....
I thought this was going to be about when we get to sentry construct location, the early access is removed but the fight is inky unlocked much later after finishing a few quests so we're unable to fight the boss for a time. But yes I was thinking the same. We need a way to restart every boss instantly
during the closed beta, the Sentry Construct would respawn right away without a timer so they can already do it if they wanted to. but there wasn't a prompt to do it again. it would just spawn like that. if they were to add a prompt to make a boss respawn while keeping the 2 min timer, that would be perfect I think.
The key thing that makes this entirely possible is Crownless. He is the only boss that is triggered by interacting with a Tacet Field first, and they can totally do this for every other boss too since they all do have their own Tacet Fields (except Sentry Construct I guess, but that one could just be something like requesting a duel with it). You can then just have them respawn instantly just like Tacet Fields. There really is no reason for them not to do this. The Nightmare Echoes can even use the aspect that they are manifested from the Somnoire (also I don't like that fighting Nightmare Echoes doesn't give their boss drop, but that's a different issue). Luckily, other than Lumi since I only just got her, I've already collected all the boss materials I need for all my characters. I also got Carlotta and her weapon to 90 before even doing any Rinascita exploration, so I didn't have this issue with her. But it would certainly be nice to just be a permanent thing even just for echo farming. The Sentry Construct I'm using with her I got while doing those fights for her materials.
I farmed all the boss mats at the start of the patch because I wanted to use carlotta in the story, and ended up farming her main echo 4 cost that I use now in like 5 minutes 😂
The boss grinding time reset problem is pretty easily solved by just grinding 2 at once- such as Nightmare Heron and Nightmare Crownless for Danjin and Camellya.
Regarding the respawn times for bosses, im thinking this is a somewhat "break" time specially if these bosses are being farmed in multiplayer. the timer may have just been left for both single and multi. as for story bosses, I'd still prefer if you can only fight them once you actually encounter them in the story (like how other MMOs do). But kuro should at least have a feature to view previous story. Just like how FFXIV allows you to skip the story if you just want to start farming in a specific dungeon/boss, but still allows you to view past story events
@@lesath7883 in most single player games even rpg ones(even non-MMO ones), you dont have an "early access" to pre farm. You even need to "encounter" them before you start farming. God Eater, Monster Hunter, im guessing even Elden Ring does that. I only used ffxiv as an example as that is one of the decent ways it was handled it that i have seen. That, although they are story locked, you wont miss out even if you skipped the story as you can always view them back specially if you just wanted to catch up. At any rate, the only reason i see people want an early access to those bosses are for being a "first to level up", or "one of the first". Eventually you'll unlock them and won't really miss out Please double check your reply before sending.
Surprised there's people against this. It took me over 100+ construct (echos btw) to farm 8x crit rate main stat echo to land a sub par double crit sub stat. That took more than 4 hours over 2 days with early access instant respawn.
Because you needing 100+ Echoes to get the substats you want won't change if those Echoes respawn faster or not. That would require tinkering with the probability of getting better substats.
I thought the skip button is taken away.. If it's limited time feature like this, it's no problem tbh.. They already give us alot of QOL, so please don't ask them to giving their heart...
I remember just randomly exploring and stumbling into Lorelai's place a few minutes before night and decided to try out the photo feature because the place looks nice for a desktop wallpaper. Then suddenly the magical glowing tree thingy appeared so I thought I will take a photo of that too. But there was boss music playing and a giant bubble was suddenly yeeted at my character.
Great video! While I do really like the idea of being able to respawn the boss instantly without having to wait for the cooldown, I think the bigger issue is actually the demand itself for better boss farming. The only reason I'm beating up Sentry Construct for the 80th time this week isn't because of the materials, but because I STILL haven't gotten a crit rate echo with crit rate and crit damage substats for Carlotta. A friend of mine only needed to defeat the boss 13 times before she rolled a CR + CD echo, and I'm still grinding the boss (I started a week ago). The amount of echoes you need to have on average to have a good shot at rolling CR + CD is just so unreasonably high. With the boss materials, I only need to defeat it around 11-ish times to fully ascend the new character (Assuming 46x total materials needed, around 4 drops per clear). On the other hand, a good echo can take FOREVER to get. The new Nightmare echoes have shown that there will indeed be echo powercreep, and probably echo set powercreep in the future, meaning that at some point I'll be pushed or pulled into grinding new echo sets. And grinding new echo sets suuuucks, man. Wuwa really needs some kind of system to guarantee echo substats because I can almost physically feel my soul rotting away piece by piece with each crit rate echo that rolls DEF% DEF+ HP% HP+ All in all, I would much rather them improve the echo rng system because that's what the bulk of my boss-farming time is being spent on.
what they can do is lower the timer to maybe 10 - 30 secs or just make it similar to hologram in just jinzhou where you need activate the pillar to start the boss fight. For lorelei, having to fight her during the day breaks immersion tbh but they can simply do the same like in holograms but with time skip directly to night time.
I see no problem in it getting taken away after progressing story you just want everything easy so ill just suggest gather material before completing story then progress
I'm actually glad the early access isn’t permanent. And as weird as it sounds I like the 2 minute break because it helps limit me, I will easily overwork myself and drop the game like a hot potato because I get overstimulated and it changes from fun to a chore. Adding a small break where you can still do other things like switch to farm a different boss has kept my attention and the fun for me. I get that it can be frustrating but early access should be for players who haven't been able to do the full story yet and it should be for all bosses that are materials for characters not just the one on the banner. You literally have at least two other bosses like Lorelei and the Dragon you can swap to, gods know those have to be farmed too only a matter of time till their characters come out.
I think thats a matter of opinion because I on the otherhand enjoy the grinding aspect and seeing what drops i get I think the better option would just be to make it optional to fight the boss right after so its a win win for both people
This is similar to the skip button. Hardcore farmers can restart and we can chill. It’s a win-win situation. Giving players more options is a good thing
2 minutes cool down is already great actually and not 24 hours cool down, i agree at your statement because that process of fun turning into chore is like making yourself do that as an obligation and not for enjoyable fun gameplay.
Yes. The 1-minute cooldown (I did time it) is absolutely needed to cool down from the intensity of the battle. While 1%ers may prefer nonstop action, the pauses make those highs enjoyable rather and stressful.
Adding the option to restart is a win-win situation. Players can restart by touching the reward object, or they can simply wait for the echo to reappear if they want 😅 This is similar to the skip button. Players have options, they can play however they want 😊
Uuuuh. Did anybody notice that if you run out of weekly reward attempt, the crystal that usually gives you your rewards now asks you if you want to restart? So at least in case of Hecate it's solved
this the way a lot of other games do it (like genshin for example) so i wasnt surprised. but having access to the instanced boss area is definitely preferable without a doubt.
Peronally i dont mind lorelei being at nigh only at all, i can still fight her multiples times before i need to set the night setting again. The main issue is the respawn timer

I did not knew about that, because I don't like spoilers. Like, going to fight Hacate or any other boss right away would completely obilirate my story experience, so I kept my Charlotta at lvl 40 with her weapon maxed out and near perfect glacio eches from 1.0 that gonna go back to Sanhua as soon as I get Glacio 2.0 cr+cd echoes. Honestly, she was still doing enough Vs the story content.
I never had any problems with farming bosses, tho. You can do it only 4 times/day to burn your daily stamina anyway, and recharging stamina with astrites would be good only for that 1% of players, the biggest whales. And as for the resets to echo farming, you can literally kill every single in-game boss (except the weekly ones) in 10s with Camellya + Jinhsi combo, so they would either have to lower the Echo drop rate from them - which would hurt people without Camellya and/or Jinhsi, or limit max amount of echoes you can drop from them, which would hurt us all. Personally, I don't mind to leave it as it is right now. Im farming them while doing something else irl, anyway.
Music very different. One i hear orchestra and it's great but sometimes i hear some clown music or just ambient what i wanna skip.
3:17 It's worth noting that this is only true for now. In future, bosses could themselves be spoilers, so it's a good idea for them to warn you about this to cover their butts. Imagine walking into a fight with the Shorekeeper -- it would be a massive spoiler even if you don't see any cutscenes
For sure! It's a good warning, but the point I didn't make clearly is it makes you think you might see entire story cutscenes. It could be a little clearer. Especially since not taking advantage locks you out of convenience.

Fun fact: If you enter an early access boss while in Rinascita, even when you've just arrived there and haven't even completed the first main quest from Rinascita, you'll automatically unlock the Fly Gadget.

I got the flight gadget unlocked when I entered the Cathedral of Mercury (before going there in the story lol).

I unlocked it after restarting the game while still in the early parts of the map, I was able to use it to fly around the area briefly, after that I then continued the main story and talked to Phoebe since I don't want to spoil the map for myself.
something a lot of people might not have noticed, there are little gardens of sword acorus all around sentry construct, so while you are waiting you can collect some the flowers needed to ascend carlotta

I never really minded this. I hit the boss, teleport away and explore, go back again after a few minutes of exploring and go back to exploring. Might be not optimal but works for me.
I just chill in place and watch a video. It's a nice way of taking a break from constantly fighting if i need too. It does become slightly annoying when you need to do it like six times squared by the end, but at least if you pace leveling yourself and don't rush, it's pretty ok to relax and chill during the waiting time. I will say, as someone who also plays genshin impact, the new 10 second cooldown along with the instant respawn makes it feel incredibly quicky to get boss materials. If I had to complain, it'd be the repitiveness of fighting the same boss over and over and over and over for one character at the least. Some most open world gacha games seems to have in common.

On Echo runs, I usually just TP away, do another 2nd boss I want, come back to the 2 min respawn timer already done, and then nab the 4pc echo I want because it'll 100% trigger the echo pity system. Farmed 200 Lampylumens and Inferno Riders this way. Having that respawn timer pushes me to fight multiple bosses instead of doing only 1 over and over again for the same result (which will be the case with instant respawn), otherwise I'd have gone insane lol. On casual runs? I just chill and whip out UA-cam
I like the feature of Lorelei needing to wait for night, but I guess its a restricting feature.

You can just sit in the chair and get a few seconds cut scene, and you can fight it again.
....Or sit-down to a sofa chair near the entrance and voilà! Its nighttime now, you can access Lorelei boss fight.

Ok, I can agree that it’s a tiny bit annoying waiting for the boss to respawn…but not terribly annoying? I don’t really mind it. I beat a boss and do something else for a seconds and then before I know I get out of my character menu and the boss is back again. Idk, not too bad imo but I’m sure Juro will change this if enough people give feedback on it.
Also, I like that Lorelei only appears at night. Anyone that doesn’t wanna sit on the chair, remember we can change the time of day by using the clock feature in our menu.
I actually don't mind the re-spawn cooldown, I'm usually building multiple characters so I'm farming several bosses. Switching between them helps breakup the monotony when farming
Here's my opinion:
Limited early accsess 2.0 bosses for new/lower level players that doesn't have respawn cooldown after beating them may sound unfair which favors new/lower level players, but you have to remember that the new players need LONGER time to beat those bosses than high level players.
You literally said it that it would took a good solid 9-11 minutes just to beat one of the limited early accsess bosses right? Then high level players would already beat them 3-4x in that span of 11 minutes.
If people are bothered by the 2 minutes cooldown for a boss to respawn, then they could just ask Kuro to cut it down to 1 minute.

i think this is bikeshedding. it super doesn't matter. the weekly bosses being counted together and capped at 3 is infinitely more limiting and frustrating.
this is the real problem, when we're getting new weekly bosses no max weekly cap increase for them
The weekly boss being capped is a balancing mechanic. You can argue the boss respawn timers are too since it limits how fast you can farm them, but the existence of "early access" throws that out the window. If they keep the current system I might just skip future story and use the early access until it's gone. It's much more efficient after all.

While I do not mind the 3/week limit, increasing that to 5 would provide a larger impact on leveling characters than this 2-minute cooldown.
Especially since the bosses have a pity of 2, which allows one to switch ti a different boss, defeat it, and then go back to the one we are farming for.
@AuthorityCat We are going to get more weekly bosses and more characters for that said weekly boss. You can farm whenever you want for equipment and you're done. You have to wait a WEEK instead of 2 mins for character material. Impatience people really exposing themselves.

Mostly a non-issue. What you are looking for is an instanced boss fight that is easily accessible from your guidebook feature. Which they happened to implement early access in a way that you can fight those bosses through an instance generated through an easily accessible interface
If, for instance, they decided to give a role to a dedicated NPC or a specific arena area for this instead... you wouldn't be complaining about the 'loss' of a new QoL feature due to story progression. It would just be a convenient alternative to what already existed

I guess you don't understand the feature. It is what it says, Limited Time Early Access. Once you fight the boss where it actually is, you can no longer do the instanced version. Meaning no, they did not add the feature yet. If they actually added the feature, you would be able to do any boss in an instanced version.
There currently is no possible way to fight any boss in an instance except for Scar, Dreamless, Jue, and Hecate. I made a comment myself explaining how they can do it, and it's by utilizing what they already have in place for Crownless; an interactive object for their Tacet Fields.
I really dont mind the the Lorelei Boss fight, fighting her only at night is really neat since you know she's Queen of the Night.. I think that's actually an awesome tid bit for her, maybe Kuro can do something about it to make it faster to switch to night.

yeah, the complaint here isnt early access being taken away, its the absence of a restart button. they added it to weekly bosses and also redid tacet fields, so its only a matter of time it comes to overlord bosses too.
I think you might have missed the point of this video. It's not about the access, it's about being able to instantly respawn the boss. That said, tbh, it's a complete non-issue unless the player has ADHD or has way too little time.

I like the restart in early access but It didnt bother me that much even after I complete the story because I think the timer is common thing for field bosses in RPG games and I see them as similar to field bosses.

It really is so simple. Tacet fields are already instant and "early access" exists. Kuro could make this change overnight. The reason they don't is because they want to force you to "play" an extra 5 minutes you otherwise wouldn't have. That's literally all the timer adds to the game, or in my opinion, what the game takes away from me. People defending it sound so stupid too. Multiple people in this comment section alone admitted they alt-tab to watch videos while they wait. Can you guess what a developer would call that? A pain point. You just forced your player to literally leave your game in the middle of a play session. THAT'S BAD GAME DESIGN.

The respawn of the bosses is 1 minute. I have tried counting the seconds by using Verina's skill and it took almost 6 skill spams for the boss to respawn
That and when you look at your map it'll give you a countdown of when the boss respawns, it's always been one minute

First the Lorelei boss is a reference from a song, and the story behind it take time in night, so cant do that
Second, the overworld bosses, if that applied then the world feel less alive, wuwa will not be open world anymore (for ex the game will be pgr 2nd, like literally)
I can understand for new players, for me I don't have that issue I just kill and and go collect other mats like flowers and then come back to it. It could be because I am use to it by now. But I can clearly see why some want the timer gone even for new players that just started on the ps5and feel for ya all, Think their plan was for new players getting the new 5 stars with the instant fights was to help you level up faster and to help but now comes a grind you need to and it's gacha game sadly, but hey I do hope it changes to the way it was for you all :), have nice day/night and happy new year to all!

That's weird. Last I checked, I finished the story completely, but the game still asked me if i want to do early access for it. I don't really use this feature since I like building characters after i finish the main quests, but I didn't know it disappeared for people. Wonder if it's a glitch or if mine is glitched?

Maybe I'm being a little naive here, but if you progress through a story, fight a boss through the story. Why would you continue to need early access for it? Besides truthfully, there are too many things to do now. 2 mins is not forever. Unless you're one of those people who decides not to sleep for 5 days and try to run through everything all at once. So that way you can complain that you're bored. Instead of complaining about the early access, what she should have said was Hey Kuro Games do us a favor do what Genshin did. the minute that you leave the immediate area from the overload boss. It automatically respawns

I can see your point. When levelling up a Resonator, it takes like 46 boss material to raise them to level 90, considering one run drops ~4-5 materials, it definitely feels like a lot of the time is wasted on waiting. Would be great if it gave us the option to reset to eliminate the waiting time. And I do agree on Lorelei's boss; Many bosses and even Tacet Field can manipulate weather, so why is Lorelei the one without this feature? I think a good way around this is by giving Lorelei a buff or bonus reward if you fight her on in-game nighttime.
But on the other hand, it feels trivial. Early Access is no more, because you are already accessing Rinascita. As for the 2 minute timer, while I do agree it's a bit tiresome when grinding for character materials, I just do other things while waiting for it. Taking a break, eating, check on socials, hunt for 3-cost echoes... I'm not really bothered by it.
If I want to talk about "nerfing character progression", I'd talk about the weekly claim limit for Calamity bosses. Really, is there any reason to impose a weekly claim, other than replicating Hoyo's system? Waiting a week just to get 9 materials just to upgrade, what, 2 or 3 skills at most? This is more pressing to me than waiting a measly 2 minutes.
If you are doing math for material farming, you need to consider the waveplate cost.
Also, the respawn timer is 1 minute.

tbf - afaik you cant get a character maxed out in one sitting. the limiting factor is not waveplate/boss drops but actually collectibles. To get all the ascension materials you need 1-2 resets so collectibles can reappear. boss drops on the other hand also equal about 720 waveplates. overall the time investment you have farming the corresponding boss and getting the other materials all fall into the same timeframe for f2p: 3days.

For the reason why after story early access the Bosses have spawn time is because at the first place that's how World Boss work on wuthering waves, Changing that means you need to change all the overworld bosses system in the game not only in the Rinascita but also on huanglong.
Whilst for Lorelei her Bgm and her lore is basically "Queen of the night", maybe kuro makes it you can only fight her in the night to match the Lore, I mean player that plays the game isn't just a player that enjoy the combat, and Also Lorelei echo set is just for 2 character for now which is danjin and roccia,you can still used old havoc set too for danjin, and it's not that really important for Roccia too if you want her to be a support since there is still moonlit set for support. Making it where you can fight her at day is basically breaking her lore as "Queen of the night".
It's just my opinion, but sometimes you don't need to change everything to match the players need, I mean kuro already changes a lot of thing that player want.
Farming bosses is a pain but at least you can fight it infinitely, And letting kuro makes something that are interesting like Lorelei boss fight is one thing to appreciate Kuro working on something with amazing details.

LMAO I thought it was early access for people who wanted to lvl their Carlotta, Hecate dropped the the weekly mat and Construct dropped a mat needed for weapon. Hecate spawns like any other weekly calamity and Construct like any other boss, the timer isn't even that long 😂 the small QoL for this is the sharp notification sound that goes off once it's spawned back in, regardless if you're in the menu or resonator menu.
They also need to remove the weekly cap on bosses. The fact I have to wait 3 weeks to max out a character that just came out is stupid. We already have AP to time gate us so they should do like how Zenless Zone Zero does and give us three free fights every week, then we have to use AP for any attempts after that.

it's 1:30 or 1:45 minutes to be precise, My temporary solution is literally to just sit in that boss spot and pause the game, watch some UA-cam shorts, then come back. The boss will still respawn without you needing to teleport away and back.
doesn't really change anything unless you are using the orange or green cube for mass farming. it only save you 6 (or 9) minutes for daily grind.
So basically the solution is to just give them the same insta reset option like a tacet field, and an adjustment to Lorelei to have her manipulate the time automatically.
I was gonna say that I didn't mind the 2 min wait time because it gives my brain a break, but i did realize that it is a pain in the ass to farm boss echoes for this same reason.
I never tried early access for me boss fights are an integral part of the story and i dont want them to be spoiled. I think a very simple solution would be to just have a restart interaction point in the middle of the boss arena like there is for tacet fields, supershort spawn timers can lock players into boss arenas cause unlike 1.0 bosses, many 2.0 bosses lock their arenas and u cant just fly away from them. That i feel could be annoying.
First time I saw in gacha game this "limited time early access" was from PGR, I was confused then I understood how it made me even more motivated to know more about the story haha !

The enemies respawn and you kill them as usual, once you clear the Tacet Field and claim you're rewards. They instantly respawn back for you to re-do the activity. No need to interact with it.

Early Access was great and there is nothing to criticise about, e.g. I did not have the time to play the entire story due to the holidays but I was still able to get my Carlotta to lvl 90 without any problems. Now I can play the story with a maxed out Carlotta and I am having an absolute blast =)
Boss Respawn timers have nothing to do with early access bosses, the timers were a "problem" long before 2.0 and the instant boss reset during the early access just made that problem more visible.
From a pure farming perspective the respawn timers are super annoying, but from an "immersion perspective" it does make sense that bosses do not respawn instantly once they are defeated. The truth lies somewhere in between, but as long as a boss is a part of the open world, I think at least a small timer has to exist. Does not count for bosses that appear in a separate realm like Dreamless, Scar, etc.
PS: Lorelei's night mechanic is just annoying and does not make any sense to me xD
Personally, I don't mind the 2 to 3 mins of waiting time for bosses to respawn. I can just pause the game, alt tab and watch something on UA-cam or just hop to another boss for fun then go back to the main boss I'm farming. As for the Lorelei boss fight, I like the gimmick that she only appears during night time and it only takes a few seconds for it to skip the time when you sit on the chair. But yeah, i get the reasons in this vid. I do have a question. The pop up message that says take a break cause I've been playing for more than 3 hours long. Is there a way to disable that? It gets in the way when I try to do some cool stuff in immersion mode :)
I don't think there's a way to disable that pop up, it's a relatively new feature 🥹 I feel you though, it's very tragic when it pops up and I'm recording a cutscene!
i think a simple fix would be to add a button that instantly respawns the boss. Not after you claim the rewards cuz thats a big punch to the face for echo farming, but maybe a prompt of sorts, interactable F key spot or the P key thats usually used to end the shooting or parkour challenges.
Thanks for letting me know, I used up 2 of my Boss attempts on Jue so I only got 1 attempt on Hecate the week of release, but then I was going to try to finish story this 2nd week of its release and build Carlotta periodically as I finish story but now thanks to you, I will focus on Carlotta 90 lvl and 10/10/10/10/10 before I progress in story, which will take me till 3rd week now but I am in no rush. I think what should be done in a way thats fair is that we should have that early access arena for about 2 weeks for the new resonator. Kind of how it is for pgr where we get a stage to farm for mats. I do understand the frustration of waiting because maaaan I hate waiting for construct for a healing main stat ;~;

Ngl this isn’t really much of a problem for me, I really think there’s so much other stuff you can do in those two minutes, plus, I’m saving all my pulls for Geshu Lin or Scar (whenever they come out), so I don’t need the upgrade mats. If anything, I’m regretting wasting a weekly challenge pull on Hecate, since I don’t really use coordinated attack based characters.

I'm not the type of person who grinds for the best possible Echo stats/sub-stats, so I don't mind the 2 minute wait. WHAT I CAN'T STAND HOWEVER IS ONLY HAVING 3 ATTEMPTS ON THE WEEKLY BOSSES PER WEEK!
Building characters is annoying because after level 6 you need 1 boss drop material each time you want to level up a skill, and you only get like 9 drops max per week!
I think you need like 25 boss material drops in total to get all the skills to level 10, which means to get just one character to have all level 10 skills, you need to wait for like 3 weeks! And for a team of 3 that's 9 weeks in total!
That, indeed, is a higher hurdle to leveling.
Increasing the weekly bosses to 5 would have a larger impact on players than tinkering with the respawn timers.

It’s definitely one of the lesser frustrating things though, all things considered. Being a gacha game, there are and will be time consuming mechanics. That being said, I wouldn’t be surprised if they reduced the boss spawn time still

I mean, if the early access lets you also farm the echos of the bosses, it's a little sad, that we don't have that feature afterwards then, but I farm all of the new bosses 1 after another anyways, so Idk. tbh i don't want that happen to the game cuz there will be tryhard player that spam farm bosses for echos, and after tryhard too much they will get bored and will have a high chance to drop the game, so that's why i feels a 2 minute cooldown is a decent thing to help the game

mind if added some more detail : not every players love being sweaty in battle pushing various buttons like street fighter battle game. so, for new players who are just get into this game, kuro added some help to raise the character level, while experience players can choose whatever. new players prone to rage quit when they got trouble in hard battle.

im giving you example in genshin : if you get inazuma characters from gacha and you are new players like rank 20, you WONT be able to raise the character level beyond 40 even if you have reached rank 40 but have not unlock inazuma behind the 5 chain long quest (more if the boss is locked behind inazuma quests). this also applicable for characters that needs boss drop from large worm in chasm liyue

Well, what if you're farming for its echo? Not the material, since farming for echo is pain since it's RNG, it might take dozens of try or even maybe hundreds of time who knows? And farming echo doesn't need to consume waveplate

IMO 2 min timer its not bad at all... with all good features they constantly optimize, this is very far from being an issue. I think you should be gratefull by the 0 respawn timer for early access rather than complaining about 2 min timer
This is the problem with chronic complainers.

Two patches ago, they complained about lack of materials.
Kuro showered them with materials.
Yet they kept complaining they still needed more materials.

I don't really have a problem with the boss respawn timer. It's actually just 1 minute. After killing one I just go to the other and go back and its up. If not, I go to another one until the one I want spawns. I don't hate that other players that still have limited early access and can use its full potential.
But maybe it's just me cause I don't really rush and I do what I need to do first and then do the story when I have nothing else to farm for or bored.
I mean I also want to farm them early but eventually we're gonna have a downtime after finishing story/exploring and this is what happened to me before 2.0.
I run out of things to do cause I rushed everything. So I decided in 2.0 to take my time with the story but finish limited-time events before they end.
The limited time early access is just from not encountering the boss in question. Once you completed the story you no longer need early access they're just there. The early access exists so that you can farm for Carlotta and have her ready before the story begins

A particular game has already taught us that you can go for years making billions without listening to your players.

Has nothing to do with the story, the early access was time limited, which it said in game at the page were you could find it. That is way it said "LIMITED early access"

I thought this was going to be about when we get to sentry construct location, the early access is removed but the fight is inky unlocked much later after finishing a few quests so we're unable to fight the boss for a time.
But yes I was thinking the same. We need a way to restart every boss instantly
during the closed beta, the Sentry Construct would respawn right away without a timer so they can already do it if they wanted to. but there wasn't a prompt to do it again. it would just spawn like that. if they were to add a prompt to make a boss respawn while keeping the 2 min timer, that would be perfect I think.
The key thing that makes this entirely possible is Crownless. He is the only boss that is triggered by interacting with a Tacet Field first, and they can totally do this for every other boss too since they all do have their own Tacet Fields (except Sentry Construct I guess, but that one could just be something like requesting a duel with it). You can then just have them respawn instantly just like Tacet Fields. There really is no reason for them not to do this. The Nightmare Echoes can even use the aspect that they are manifested from the Somnoire (also I don't like that fighting Nightmare Echoes doesn't give their boss drop, but that's a different issue).
Luckily, other than Lumi since I only just got her, I've already collected all the boss materials I need for all my characters. I also got Carlotta and her weapon to 90 before even doing any Rinascita exploration, so I didn't have this issue with her. But it would certainly be nice to just be a permanent thing even just for echo farming. The Sentry Construct I'm using with her I got while doing those fights for her materials.
I farmed all the boss mats at the start of the patch because I wanted to use carlotta in the story, and ended up farming her main echo 4 cost that I use now in like 5 minutes 😂
The boss grinding time reset problem is pretty easily solved by just grinding 2 at once- such as Nightmare Heron and Nightmare Crownless for Danjin and Camellya.
Regarding the respawn times for bosses, im thinking this is a somewhat "break" time specially if these bosses are being farmed in multiplayer. the timer may have just been left for both single and multi.
as for story bosses, I'd still prefer if you can only fight them once you actually encounter them in the story (like how other MMOs do). But kuro should at least have a feature to view previous story. Just like how FFXIV allows you to skip the story if you just want to start farming in a specific dungeon/boss, but still allows you to view past story events

@@lesath7883 in most single player games even rpg ones(even non-MMO ones), you dont have an "early access" to pre farm. You even need to "encounter" them before you start farming. God Eater, Monster Hunter, im guessing even Elden Ring does that. I only used ffxiv as an example as that is one of the decent ways it was handled it that i have seen. That, although they are story locked, you wont miss out even if you skipped the story as you can always view them back specially if you just wanted to catch up. At any rate, the only reason i see people want an early access to those bosses are for being a "first to level up", or "one of the first". Eventually you'll unlock them and won't really miss out

Surprised there's people against this. It took me over 100+ construct (echos btw) to farm 8x crit rate main stat echo to land a sub par double crit sub stat. That took more than 4 hours over 2 days with early access instant respawn.
Because you needing 100+ Echoes to get the substats you want won't change if those Echoes respawn faster or not.
That would require tinkering with the probability of getting better substats.

I remember just randomly exploring and stumbling into Lorelai's place a few minutes before night and decided to try out the photo feature because the place looks nice for a desktop wallpaper. Then suddenly the magical glowing tree thingy appeared so I thought I will take a photo of that too. But there was boss music playing and a giant bubble was suddenly yeeted at my character.

While I do really like the idea of being able to respawn the boss instantly without having to wait for the cooldown, I think the bigger issue is actually the demand itself for better boss farming. The only reason I'm beating up Sentry Construct for the 80th time this week isn't because of the materials, but because I STILL haven't gotten a crit rate echo with crit rate and crit damage substats for Carlotta. A friend of mine only needed to defeat the boss 13 times before she rolled a CR + CD echo, and I'm still grinding the boss (I started a week ago). The amount of echoes you need to have on average to have a good shot at rolling CR + CD is just so unreasonably high.
With the boss materials, I only need to defeat it around 11-ish times to fully ascend the new character (Assuming 46x total materials needed, around 4 drops per clear). On the other hand, a good echo can take FOREVER to get. The new Nightmare echoes have shown that there will indeed be echo powercreep, and probably echo set powercreep in the future, meaning that at some point I'll be pushed or pulled into grinding new echo sets. And grinding new echo sets suuuucks, man. Wuwa really needs some kind of system to guarantee echo substats because I can almost physically feel my soul rotting away piece by piece with each crit rate echo that rolls DEF% DEF+ HP% HP+
All in all, I would much rather them improve the echo rng system because that's what the bulk of my boss-farming time is being spent on.

what they can do is lower the timer to maybe 10 - 30 secs or just make it similar to hologram in just jinzhou where you need activate the pillar to start the boss fight. For lorelei, having to fight her during the day breaks immersion tbh but they can simply do the same like in holograms but with time skip directly to night time.
I think it's better if they just add the option to instantly respawn the boss when collecting the orb

I see no problem in it getting taken away after progressing story you just want everything easy so ill just suggest gather material before completing story then progress

I'm actually glad the early access isn’t permanent. And as weird as it sounds I like the 2 minute break because it helps limit me, I will easily overwork myself and drop the game like a hot potato because I get overstimulated and it changes from fun to a chore. Adding a small break where you can still do other things like switch to farm a different boss has kept my attention and the fun for me. I get that it can be frustrating but early access should be for players who haven't been able to do the full story yet and it should be for all bosses that are materials for characters not just the one on the banner. You literally have at least two other bosses like Lorelei and the Dragon you can swap to, gods know those have to be farmed too only a matter of time till their characters come out.
I think thats a matter of opinion because I on the otherhand enjoy the grinding aspect and seeing what drops i get
I think the better option would just be to make it optional to fight the boss right after so its a win win for both people

2 minutes cool down is already great actually and not 24 hours cool down, i agree at your statement because that process of fun turning into chore is like making yourself do that as an obligation and not for enjoyable fun gameplay.

Yes. The 1-minute cooldown (I did time it) is absolutely needed to cool down from the intensity of the battle.
While 1%ers may prefer nonstop action, the pauses make those highs enjoyable rather and stressful.
Adding the option to restart is a win-win situation. Players can restart by touching the reward object, or they can simply wait for the echo to reappear if they want 😅

Uuuuh. Did anybody notice that if you run out of weekly reward attempt, the crystal that usually gives you your rewards now asks you if you want to restart? So at least in case of Hecate it's solved
this the way a lot of other games do it (like genshin for example) so i wasnt surprised. but having access to the instanced boss area is definitely preferable without a doubt.
Peronally i dont mind lorelei being at nigh only at all, i can still fight her multiples times before i need to set the night setting again. The main issue is the respawn timer
