that one about not wanting to be judged for being a kpop fan is upsetting because you should like what you want! as a fan that grew up with korean pop as a part of culture, my teacher always made fun of it. my father told me that just because it’s not what he’s used to doesn’t mean it’s not good, and i learned as i grew up that my father couldn’t have been more right.
I have a beomgyu photocard in my phonecase and soobin as my lockscreen wallpaper and i won't change it. But i hate it when random people in my class come up to me and ask who is in my phonecase/wallpaper 😭

I thought some of these as well. Well the more sane ones also all the things like ult or bias confused me when I first started listening to K-Pop. I listen to a lot of metal and death metal. I relate to being confused as hell by all those different yet similar names. Like, I thought Jay Park and JYP were the same person....... And also, currently Oli London is an alt-right "journalist" on twitter. I guess he saw how easy it is to manipulate those people. He's even kinda famous in those circles. He's a total poser with no values who only cares about money and fame (not that it wasn't obvious before).
