@@MotivatedByE 😂 when I had my locs, I had 90 by random just based on my head size and hair density. It was the best cause I could do 2 strand or 3 strand twists and braids too. It was the best!
I wanted 100 but ended up with 91. Then counted later and had 87. Haha. I remember combining a few though. A couple were significantly thinner than the rest and it looked ridiculous. I love my count now. When they drop and touch my shoulders…..💃🏾
Sisterlocs wash is a bit more. It’s braiding and banding. Basically plait up, the curve your ends up and put a rubber band and the bottom securing the loose ends. It’s so you don’t accidentally cause your locs to come undone. And for specifically sister locs- you’re not suppose to put products on them. Spray with rose water but no grease in the scalp or anything.
Omg this is perfect! Thank you for this insight and information. So how long would someone have to wait until they can wash their hair without worrying that it will become unraveled?
I had 85 locs and for me that was still to little. They felt big on my head. I've recently combed some out and made them smaller so i have 100 now. I've got quite a big head tho! 😅
90 is a perfect number. Divisible by 2 and 3.
Ahh I’ve never actually thought about it like that! 👏🏾 that matters a lot when styling, at least for the Loctician 😂
