Building a LEGO "Attack on Black Falcon City" MOC

Hey everyone and welcome back to my newest LEGO build!
I've made my first LEGO Castle medieval related build using Black Falcons as well as a modified version of the Lion Knights.
The MOC despict the entrance of Black Falcon City which is being raided by Lion Knights. I hope you all like it!

It looks great. I was however expecting a few extra things to really make it pop.
1 - a Guard house or small tower above the archway
2 - a portcullis or door or something that allows the Black Falcons to shut the entryway, rather than just throwing soldiers at it
3 - a small tree or something on the bank of the river
4 - a cutaway medieval house or something that implies that it is a town that the black falcons are protecting, rather than just wall and pavement.
5 - perhaps a peasant cart and some peasants, or a market stall, or something if you didn't want to build a building.
The cheese slope angle you have used is clever, as are many of your other building techniques, and the you convey good motion with the placement of minifigs. Really good work.
