Orcs and Ravens 🔛🔝
I like how he made the orcs peaceful people instead of evil
Yeah
Yeah it really changes things up and makes them more interesting
Yea
Idle empires lore
It's interesting how Goldfyre made irony with how evil or good each faction is.
Red Falcons using a captured lion knight castle is so sick
Wonderful lore! I love the details you had included as well as not trying to cram every lego castle faction into a map! I definitely want to see you some day build a MoC for Raven's watch keep!
The ravens watch will come some day! I want some more moc experience before I attempt it 😁
Love the little Song of Ice and Fire Easter Egg you threw in there.
😁
@@Goldfyre will the dragon knights destroy Ghis...?
@@nicholasszabo5954 History may repeat itself haha
This was a delightful treat to watch, I especially loved how you made each faction's lore have some part in another faction's, it really makes the world feel connected, lived in, and alive.
I'm so glad it came across like that. I really wanted the factions relationships to be interwoven and realistic.
This is the type of video I go crazy for, I love homebrew worlds and I love LEGO and I love lore. Great video as always, please do a part two!
I've got some ideas to expand the southern continent in the future. I'm really glad you enjoyed 😊
Yo! I made it into the video 😆 0:07 I love the hand drawn map idea - it looks super cool! Great job creating a story - I can't wait to see you build some of these locations 🤞
I hope to start the build for some of them soon!
A land forged by coffee. Nice!
This video is awesome! The map you drew is really nicely designed and the lore was well written. Great job!
Truly a masterpiece of art passion and honor. Thank you for this beautiful gift of narrative inspiration. May your fantasy world expan.🏰
Thank you so much! :)
@@Goldfyre is your viking map ran expansive on to this?
I love learning about many peoples lore. This was epic!
This is awesome, my friend! Definitely inspired me to take my minifig factions more seriously. Great video!
Thank you! I love world building so it was a blast to make.
Keep it up man you’re doing great
Really digging the alternate Black Raven torsos your using, since the tournament knight is so expensive to get in high numbers. It's inspired me to copy that look, the Grey viking torso with two tone legs and yellow cape look fantastic
Wow! That's awesome! Beautiful map🤩
Thank you! 😁
Awesome Lore and awesome map
It looks so cool good job man
Thank you 😁
you can make an entire series about this
Great job. It was fun listening to the lore you’ve created.
Amazing video! Keep up the good work!
Man… I loved the map. Awesome lore story. Well done
This all sounds so flippin AWESOME 🥳🥳🥳
❤ really love this, fantastic video
An awesome background. Definitely looking forward to watching it grow!
Nah this was sick imma have to do this for my kingdom setup
Do it! It's a really fun process.
@@Goldfyre please make future videos showcasing some different types of brick built medieval Giants in all kinds of shapes and sizes and some brick built medieval style types of element breathing treasure hoarding Dragons along with different types of brick built Merfolk of all shapes and sizes big and small and as well as brick built micro scale Fairies and micro scale Gnomes and Dwarfs mining precious metals and precious stones as a full on mythological lore expansion to for your ever growing lego medieval world as well as having what I’m suggesting be a great way to make your medieval lego world have more fantasy elements please
@@Goldfyre imma do it
@@frankd4581I'm definitely planning on adding more fantasy races and elements to the southern continent of my world. I love all the suggestions you made here. Especially the giants and golems.
PERFECTION🎉
Thanks 😁
Idea for a long term project: build the map of your world in lego with all the locations marked with shields and stuff
dope video. thanks for the content
Great video man
Impressive, great detail on the map!
Thanks! It was a blast to make.
Loved it! Your passion for this project is very inspiring!
Thank you! I love worldbuilding so it was really fun for me to make this video.
This is extremely cool. Really amazing job here!
Thanks! 😁
This is awesome!
That map was nicely done and the lore well thought out.
Thanks! :)
Thank you! This is amazing! I love the interesting tid bits you had throughout it in the political intrigue that lead to certain factions taking castles or splitting. Great work!
Thank you so much! I really wanted the world to feel fleshed out and interesting.
Nice video man
bro that line at the end about the peasants was so ideal
Thanks! I thought it was a fitting ending for the video.
This is such a cool video! Amazing story telling!
Oh my god, I'm a huge fan of yours! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, it was a blast to make.
@@Goldfyre No way, thanks! Youre honestly such a good story teller!
Fantastic video and lore. I'm a part time writer and tend to write lore for my own lego knights and this really resonated with me. Nicely done
Thank you so much! The whole process from writing the stories for each faction and then drawing the map was really enjoyable.
I love that he didnt make the Orcs generic evil. Very interesting 😊
I love it.❤
More of this, please.😊
I've got another lore video coming in December 😁
Wow that isbsuper cool, I always wanted to do something simular but never had the dedication like you. I woud love to see more of it.
Go for it! It takes a lot of patience to draw the map out but it's a ton of fun.
Dope!
This was actually so fun to watch! Keep up the awesome uploads!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Just rewatched this video 😆 Definitely want to make my own fantasy world now....
Any chance we are getting more of these lore videos? Love these.
I love the way you make a map out of rice and beans. Looks fun. 😀
wooooooow!!
this is awesome!!
Thank you so much 😁
That was absolutely fantastic. Truly wonderful stories. It does inspire me to work more I'm mine I've started so many years ago. Bravo!
Thank you! I'm so glad it inspired you to (hopefully!) work more on yours. :)
Make more lore vids they are amazing
Hand drawn maps are the best!!
Amazing lore
Thanks 😁
You can also do a red falcon castle
i love it my favorite is the black falcons
Incredible video, I’m in the middle of building my own Lion Knights army and I’ll definitely create a map like you did. What an amazing idea! More Castle videos like this 😊😊
Thank you! Making the map was super fun and I'm sure you'll have a blast making yours. nice shiny lotad btw
amazing map!
This is so nice, I'd like to see how the story evolves and maybe some more history lessons😂
Goldfrye, man, I'm so glad I discovered your videos. The sincere amount of passion, effort, and thought you put into all this is so heartfelt. It feels me with literal joy. I feel like I'm watching Tolkien craft Middle-Earth...only if he used Lego. Hah. Who says Lego can't be used to inspire a fantasy epic? But this reminds me so very much of myself as a kid in the late 80s and early 90s with my own Lego kingdom. As I said in another comment on a different video, with Carl the Cruel. Now with all these new pieces from LOTR and even a Zelda set (and hopefully that spawns an entire line), there's just so much more that can be done than when I was a kid. Know what I'd love to see make a return to prominence? The old school knight helmet (the one that could have different colored decorations), the one that's a visor, if you know what I mean. When the skeleton first came out (yeah, I'm that old, lmfao), IMMEDIATELY what I did (like probably most) was put that head on a black knight body. Instant undead black knight! So simple, but back then...we didn't have many options. I'd also like to see a new style of knight helmet come out that we've never seen before. And I've said this before, but man, I want to see more of other ancient cultures, especially Greek and Roman sets. I'm still blown away that we never got an entire theme of them. How is that even possible? At least the collectable minifigures covered some, but I want mooooore. Hah.
Love the map
Thanks! 😁
I hope we see more of this in the future
Oh i've got plans 😁
Really enjoyed this. You went to a lot of work! This would make a great D&D campaign world. Maybe one of my castles would make a good back drop? :D
I'm so glad everyone's enjoying it! And I think that sounds like a plan haha 😁
wow, such a great idea.
Thanks! 😁
Awesome video
Thanks!
Moc idea 💡
Remade yellow castle same size but in new style and a bit destroyed
Yellow, gold or tan colurs
yey! lore video
Incredible. Absolutely incredible.
Thanks 😁
Do you have a skeleton army? I would love to see you incorporate one (maybe on the bone Islands?)@@Goldfyre
@@MOCingBricks That's actually the plan. I am slowly building it up but i want to make it interesting and not just a horde of skeletons so it's gonna be a bit until its complete.
Fantastic. Love all the thought you put into your armies
@@Goldfyre
Using beans for a map was a great idea
This looks like such a great map and lor it makes me want to make one for my medevil world
Do it!
I love your channel
Thanks!! :)
funny enough the ravens are actually similar to the knights of st jhon:they were orginally hospitaleirs exiled from there first home and helped in bitter wars against the ottoman before forced to move to the unattractive land of malta. they too treasured there navy greatly
10/10 map drawing
Your map makes me think of Wof maps
When I saw it in a recommendations, I simply smiled :)
It's so nice and even cute that people keep imagining a worlds, events and stories using a Lego or anything else. It reminds me my childhood, when I cannot play with Lego "in a canon" and used it for all bizarre things that came to my mind. Imagination is really infinite resource and no matter how many time passed, you shouldn't supress it. Big fan of creating lore for anything, so keep it up, man! Maybe you'll write a book or make a stop-motion animation, who knows. Just glad that you create your own small world :)
Thank you for this very kind comment! Making the lore videos is a blast and definitely taps into that childhood fun of just coming up with stories for your minifigures.
I came from Reddit
Cool video !! Thank you for it
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Dude I’m inspired by this so much I’m making my own map right now!!! This was super awesome, keep it up!!!
Oh my god awesome! Map making is so much fun i hope you enjoy making one!
Yeah it’s really cool. I’m looking at your video again to see how you drew the castles.
I love watching your videos. I only have one castle set, which is the black falcon 3in1 set.
I would like to know how to get more black falcon pieces for cheap prices
You should make the bear knights a castle and lore
I just need to get some bear knights first :)
But I was also thinking maybe asking a video on the lion knights as well
I want two seasons and a movie!
I know the falcon and raven kingdoms don’t like each other much, but it be cool if they had a common enemy, and had to unite against them
I would love to see another lore video or a stop motion series anyway keep up the good work
I've got another lore video brewing rn. Got a few custom set videos coming first tho :)
@@Goldfyre I am looking forward to it
Omg cool
And maybe the next time you could make a video where the lion and black falcons are on the brink of defeat so they make a unexpected alliance
Really creative man nice job. This makes me wanna draw up a map and write my lore down before I forget what I made up so far in my head lol
Oh and raven knights will always be superior 💪
Do it! It's so much fun to write out the lore & draw the map.
Let's go!!
Yessirrrr
It'd be cool to get more and more lore as you build onto the lore, maybe even seeding out a story as you keep writign and recording
That's the plan 😁
Oh im so excited, thank you so much!
Haven’t even started video yet but so excited. I LOVE lego castle ! Any recommendations on how to get more into to it and more sets/figs from anyone ?
If you haven't already I'd recommend the Blacksmith ideas set because it retires this year. And if you want to get into army building you can buy Lion Knights, Black Falcons, Vikings, and Forestmen from Lego's online pick a brick. I have a guide video on my channel if you're interested.
I hope you enjoyed the video. 😁
@@Goldfyre hey thanks for ur response. I shoulda clarified! I’ve been collecting lego Star Wars for a long time but lost interest and switched over to lotr/castle. I have some great sets like the lions knight castle and Rivendell as well as some custom castles. More looking at how to build armies and get older sets. Ur video on lego pick a brick was extremely helpful, thank you !!!
This map reminds me of the wings of fire map in the first book
Ooh wonder what those dragon lords have cooking up
You should save the green dragons to have one of the royals that wants to usurp the throne. He has an alliance with a green wizard that he would be served by a dragon if he joined him. And thus he started using the green dragon or something instead of like the lion or something.
wow that was great!!
i could never draw like that lol
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. BTW you could totally draw a map like this it just takes some patience and practice.
i may try or draw it online and print it that could work to maybe
@@Legocole There's also some websites that will generate a map for you if you want to try that instead.
oh yes that too like chatgpt or what ever its called lol
You should expand on the dragon spire lore
10/10
Turns out that the Black Falcon knights are trying to build an empire.
yey lore
Absolutely amazing video. Well done. Keep sharing your lore as the story continues!
Ps. Any chance you would be willing to scan the map and share with the rest of us who would love to utilize your lore?
I would love to scan the map but am probably going to wait until i update the map again before i do that. I have a lot of plans to expand the map to the south. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video :)
Yo Goldfrye you inspired me to make my own fantasy world map and I have already made a steampunk era of world called "Jorctistria" and I have made a crap ton of lore already so I'm not getting into it. Nice map though!
That's awesome!
You should make a stop motion animation with all your story . It would be great!!
That would be a ton of work but also extremely fun! Hopefully one day, I've always wanted to get into stop motion.
