    Go to a junkyard and get a 4th gen camaro or firebird radiator and the factory dual fans. A lot cheaper then buying aftermarket and direct boltin. I only paid $50 for all.

      The first GEN Firebird 67 to 69 are basically the same as the camaro. if doing the swap my way use small block Chevy frame stands and stock small block Chevy engine mounts with the LS adapter plate. There is also a company called dirty dingo that makes a bolt in engine mount kit it just is a few dollars more than doing it this way. Either of these ways works great. As for headers oil pan transmission all works perfect and are the same for Camaro and Firebird. If you have a automatic transmission from the factory keep all the factory transmission shift linkage. It will bolt to a 4L 60 E or 700 R4 with just a minor adjustment in shift linkage. Hope this helps and if you have any other questions I am do my best to answer.

      What I do is wire in a 5 pin relay if I don’t have a 4 pin brake switch and use the center pin on the relay end it out pin on the brake switch as the trigger power that way when not on the brakes The computer sees power when on the brakes it slips away from the center pin in the relay and the computer no longer sees power this is just one way of handling it but it works well

      @blindguysgarage  Місяць тому

      If you have a no crank condition on a older car like that, it’s probably not getting power to the starter therefore it’s probably either a bad ignition switch or something is wrong in the main starter circuit possibly a neutral safety switch

    • @blindguysgarage
      @blindguysgarage  Рік тому

      I’m not sure I understand the question but I will try and answer what I think you are asking.
      The ls swap adaptor comes with new bolts it is very simple and bolts to the block with 4 Allen head countersunk bolts. Then the standard sbc/bbc mount for your car will bolt to to the adaptor plate. There is multiple passions you can set the mount in. The most foword holes are for stock location if I rember right. I try and and use the second hole back to move the engine foword about 3/8 of a inch. Makes it nice for firewall clearance. I hope this helps answer your question.
