- We are taking you on our adventure building a cabin in the woods step by step. Today we are digging the cabin pad into a hillside. I can see it done in my head, but each step forward makes it more real. We excavate the entire cabin pad with our TYM tractors. This is about when TYM sent us the TYM 2515 to be tested. It got a workout! Thank you TYM North America @tymnorthamerica #tymnorthamercia

This is a big job, especially with 25hp tractors and a backhoe. Good work you two! Tractor Hard! 🚜💪!
The 2515 is as big as my T474 48hp tractor. In this case, HP is not an issue. 25hp is more than enough to run the backhoe. I couldn't tell the difference if my eyes were closed.
Impressive!
Thank you. It was so much fun. I am like a kid doing this. I get to play in the dirt.
Excellent !
Thank you.
Gizmo wears so many hats…… today strawboss. Team Gizmo!
That's right. He sure loves Tanja. I play with him and give him treats, but he always takes her side.
Your right Tony, Miss Tanja is a fast learner. You guys move a lot of dirt.
Dean, she is all on it. By the time we get through with this build I don't think I will have a tractor job left. 😁
Thanks for the over view
Any time. We will keep putting out updates each week.
Lookin good!! 😎👍
Thank you, Dave. It really inspires me to see the building site come together.
I see this is a “Big Project’! I’m looking forward to watching this. I’m so impressed with how quickly Tonya picked up the tractor work. Y’all are an awesome team!
She impressed me too. She picked up the loader controls quick, and she has a great eye for level.
A start of a great series great video thanks Tony and Tanya and Gizmo
Thank you. We are so close to putting floor joist in. We view the cabin in the factory this week.
Very well done video Tony. You have shown how to get a lot out of a TYM tractor in a few hours.
That backhoe looks so useful, even on a small tractor! That dump bed is sweet as well.
The tractors are truly work. Multipliers. We couldn't do nearly as much without the tractors.
Awesome stuff, as always man thats sure is a lot of dirt moved Holy such a great job 2215 sure is a beast
I hear you. That 2515 did a great job. The backhoe seat needs to be improved, but other than that, it is a digging machine.
@@TonysTractorAdventure maybe a nice lazboy recliner would fit hahaha u will never get off
Good time for root cellar
I was thinking about a storm cellar too.
What great team work love watching your videos god bless you all
Thank you Joe. God bless you too. Have a great week.
@@TonysTractorAdventure And as always I really do wish you both all the happiness for the future and can not wait till your next update on your journey to building your new home in the forest that’s really hard work you both did to get on your 1st and 2nd Day as always God you and your family many thanks for getting back to me Mate.
Those tractors are getting a workout. Tanya is doing super at her job. That definitely is a lot of dirt moved. Thanks Tony
You bet! We are a few weeks behind on video. More coming soon.
Lookin good 👍 🏆🏆👴🐕🚜🩵🕺🤠
Wow, nice teamwork. Great progress!👍🏻
Thank you. It is soon going to be Tanja's Tractor Adventure.😁
Tremendous job Guys ! Professional and very well explained as always. Looking forward to look chapter 3....🤠
Check the playlist out. We got some of the videos out of order but they are in order on the playlist.
Teeth on the bucket make a big difference when I dig like that I. No expert , just worked better for me. Looking good, keep up the great work!
I don't care for teeth on tractor loader buckets. It gets in the way of finishing work. I'm not a big proponent of digging with a bucket on a tractor loader. I've seen hundreds of loaders bent. I use loader bucket to shave, shape, and move loose material.
@@TonysTractorAdventure my tooth bar removes with two bolts, I got rid of the flimsy bucket that comes on most compact tractors, bought a high quality unit. Takes a couple minutes to remove tooth bar to do my finishing.
Tony you and Tanya have done an super excelent job on the earth moving
Thank you my friend. Tanja is getting really good at the tractors
Tony, I came across your channel a few weeks ago researching tractors and am really enjoying your content as it pops up in my feed. You are walking in a lot of the same things I am pursuing and it’s cool to see someone posting videos that align with some of the quiet goals I’ve held for a while. Great channel fella 🙏🏼
I really appreciate your feedback. From time to time we get beat up but I will say most of the people that watch our channel are like us. They are not looking for someone to do it for them. I think you, like me, enjoy the challenge of doing it yourself.
Looking good, just a thought, I’m going to experiment with geothermal heating and cooling, I’ll bury 6” pvc pipe 5’ deep in a loop and force air thru it, I’ll let ya know how it works, the fan would be small, maybe even solar
I was thinking about running black Plastic pipe with and antifreeze mixture 7' deep for a cooling and heating source. It is ran into an automobile radiator with a fan. It would need a a small liquid pump also. I could build an attractive case around it.
@@TonysTractorAdventure That is a "Great Idea " ,you ; my Good-Man "Read my mind".
Your middle Tennessee dirt looks a lot different than the dirt here on the Plateau. Mine's all rocks and hard packed clay.
At this level, we have clay, sand and iron ore. Big chunks of iron. There use to be smelters in this area. I see why now.
🐣👍
Boa noite muito ótimo essa máquina amigo
Thank you so much my friend.
She's a big help ,don't blame us if you get a pop knot on your head
I get a knot on the head daily.
Use grade stakes as a reference if necessary. The pad is pretty small you could almost use a landscape rake and the front loader bucket to fill the low spots for a finish rough grade before compaction. 30 tons is roughly 20 yards. When the soil is excavated it fluffs up so it looks like more than when you started. How much quicker would have it been with the 474?
Pretty exciting to see the 2515 in play. Both of you look great in the video working. One question is, where is the laser level that you have the sensor so high on the Measure stick? As usual Colleen and I love Gizmo dog. I’m hoping to see both of you at the equip expo 2023. Ed.
The laser level was up the hill out of the way. Video doesn't show how steep the hill is very well. I hope we get to come to the equipment expo. We are going to try to break away.
I just bought a T25, partially from your videos. So far I like it. I built a spreadsheet comparing all of the TYM (and thus Branson) tractors. The 2515 was looking good, but cost too much for basically just more weight. The 3 point can lift twice as much, but that was the only real upside, that I wouldn't make use of. I'm curious on your opinion between them as you are obviously using them for bigger tasks!
The T25 is still my favorite tractor. It is very capable for its size. In the type of job that we are doing today, this is where the 2515 shines. The T25 can't keep up in this type of work. Still it could do it if you had the time.
You know me and tractors. For me, I was just playing in the dirt with bigger toys.
What time frame is this video Jul 30 now ,your building is ahead of this time
This was last month. It takes time to put some video together. It will all come out on the playlist in order.
I Bought a 264 3 weeks ago and love it so far, Only problem is that the key switch stopped working when trying to engage the starter, All the lights and everything works as it should. I have tried all the buttons n levers in every possible position but when you try to crank the engine over to start it it does nothing but click. If I just the starter terminals it starts up and runs fine. Any ideas?
I'm sure I could figure it out if I was there, but it really sounds like a safety switch that is disconnected or bad.
