Wow; lots of great choices with Drudkh, Tankard, Dismember, Morbid Angel, Enslaved, Kreator, Marduk, Motörhead, Sodom, and Iron Maiden. Iron Maiden is the one band I own the most albums from as I have all their studio albums except the X Factor, Virtual XI, and the Final Frontier on CD.
I’m only missing the final frontier and I think that records blows so that’s mainly why. But I have the two with blaze and those also suck so whatever.
I completely agree with you about Tankard. I actually think they're the most consistent German thrash band. Definitely deserve their place in the German big 4. I think they're underrated because 1. they rarely toured the US if at all and 2. people go for the evil themes/war & gore themes in metal and on album covers rather than Tankard's beer and drinking aesthetic. Tankard are heavy thrash, their riffs are right up there, very cool musically. People need to focus on that rather than not liking the 'stupid' beer and drinking themes the band use.
Great video! It's interesting, because sometimes a band where you own the most by isn't one of your favourite bands. Sometimes that's not the case. But cool to see Dismember, Marduk, Kreator, Morbid Angel, Motorhead, Sodom and Iron Maiden in your top 10. A lot of these bands I need to check out more, and all of them I need more albums by! I don't have a big collection though in my defence! 😁🤘🏻
@mazeoftorment805 Ahh cool, that's fair enough! I'd probably say the same, it's just how it goes with our collections and how big the bands discography is! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
You know, I wouldn’t have a clue. I don’t own too many bootlegs, so it would be mainly official releases. I’ve next to all of My Dying Bride releases, that must be near 30. I’ve ~99% Therion too, which could be more than 30 with all the live albums. Good topic, I’ll have to look at my collection to see if any band smashes the 30 mark.
Beneath The Remains was the first Scott Burns produced album I owned. Awesome album. Covenant is my favorite Morbid Angel album. Just noticed those two album covers on your wall.🤘Have you heard the new Morbid Saint album Swallowed By Hell? If so what do you think?
Cool video again man. A lot of great bands, even if I definitely need to hear nore from a lot of them. I'm sure my collection pales in comparison to yours in terms of general quantity and also having so much diversity with all the weird shit I listen to doesnt help lol. Plus not having a local store and having to shell out a good chunk for shipping on most things... Anyway, enough complaining lol. My top 2 are Jethro Tull at 13 and Opeth at 12. Cheers 🤘🤘
@@mazeoftorment805 Neither did I lol. Been buying stuff since probably 2010 or so but I've gone through weird phases like buying 70s stuff on vinyl almost exclusively for a couple years, then also purging probably 150 records at one point like an idiot. Definitely been buying a lot more metal in the past year or so though so I guess you have a point.
@@psychicvacuum555 would be cool to see which’s bands you own a bunch from though . Especially considering some of the prog you like could be an interesting video.

Marduk and Kreator are outstanding.
Iron Maiden would my 2nd most. Great video idea and great video.
Would be cool to see who you have the most from.
@@mazeoftorment805 Hell yea, I will make a response video within the week.

Well Sodom I think is the most consistent but as far as changing the least I agree.

Some of my top 10 bands didn’t even make this list (my dying bride and hypocrisy specifically)

Beneath The Remains my favorite record of all time. have all collected every re-issue/re-master on CD. The 2020 version is the best.
It’s a top 5 for me
@@mazeoftorment805 what do u think of the re-recordings mate, of the early records. schizophrenia is next
@timberwolvesxx7250 Havnt herd them. Don’t care. Albums are perfect the way they were.
