Check out Mike's review of the squat harness, Sliding Bench Trainer (now Hybrid). He reviews the belt and harness. I think they come from different companies. He seems to favor the harness.
Yeah, that is one exercise that some may quickly max out. Same goes for squats. I slowed down the rep speed a bit and can get it to work, but I have to turn off the assist to do so.
I personally like the SunPow a lot. However, I am 5'11" so I am not sure how the resistance will be at your height. Could test them out and see if they are enough. If not, can always return them.
I've got everything on here but the bag(which I plan on getting). The J hooks and the Geko bar comes tomorrow. Really looking forward to trying out that bar. 👍
@@GamerBody I was using Bodylastics but the Sunpow bands give me a nice resistance. The J hooks make exercises like seated rows really smooth and the Geko bar is just all around awesome. Thanks for the recommendations! Made my workout much better.👍
I am going to make a video breaking down how to setup each exercise with the bands, but not sure I will make a full video that includes all of them in one, but we will see :)
Yes. I no longer use tube bands at all. I started with them, but after finding a much better setup (similar to X3) and how much more resistance they can provide, I was sold on them.
Ever had a band break on you? I was doing rows with step and bar this morning and my Undersun heavy band snapped. I have heard of the thin one breaking but this was their second thickest! Potentially dangerous but I got away with it. Do they wear out / should be replaced periodically?
Yes, but only 1 and it was the X-small from UnderSun on the day I got it. they replaced it and I have not had one snap since (years since that happened with tons of workouts inbetween).
I recently got the all aluminium version of the Geku bar along with The Step platform, really like it.
you have a link
Nice man! i got my x3 Bar set and Vector Athletics split squat belt all for £135. Rare to get in the UK!!
That's a steal!! Nice catch
@@Rikotsu1 Cheers man! Perks of some eBay findings.
I may look into a belt. How do you like it with bands?

Awesome, love your reviews on these easy to use anywhere system.
Nice vid! I bought a speediance but may return as I'm already maxing the deadlift within 3 weeks

I have owned The Step (and risers) for years now, and it never occurred to me to use these with resistance bands!
Hey, thanks so much for this video!
Hey there I’m 5’3” and I really want to start using resistance bands at home. Do you have any recommendations?

In regards to the Serious Steel Fitness Band Guard. Did you buy the small or large one? 🤔
I purchased the small.
Can you make a video on all the types of exercises that can be done on the resistance board and bar for each target muscle ?
I am going to make a video breaking down how to setup each exercise with the bands, but not sure I will make a full video that includes all of them in one, but we will see :)
Always enjoy your videos. I take it you moved completely away from tube bands?
Yes. I no longer use tube bands at all. I started with them, but after finding a much better setup (similar to X3) and how much more resistance they can provide, I was sold on them.
I appreciate this video so much.
Are the Sunpow bands 41 inches in loop size?
Yes.
