I'm so happy you guys are experiencing the magic of Beck. This is one of my favorite albums of all time. So many amazing albums of different styles but always Beck. Really worth diving deep.
Great reaction guys, you should definitely do more Beck reactions one of (imo the) best artist of our times and that's still around. The man has done it all when it comes to genres and besides his latest 2 record that are mixed imo every album he has made before that is gold.
I'm not familiar with Beck, but if more of his music sounds like this, then he is worth listening to. I liked this song. Trey is right that the melody is really nice and Shawn is right that sometimes less is more. This song has a solid rhythm and it has good melody and meaning in the lyrics. I understand the theme of heartbreak because I've been there. You guys get deep in your comment and review and explain well what the song is about. Shawn, you gave this a very high rating at 9.2 and Trey, you gave this also a high 8.5 rating. My rating would be closer to Trey's but I can see why you both liked this song.
If you liked this, the whole "Sea Change" album is great. Also listen to the two other albums of his in this style: "Mutations" and "Morning Phase" in their entirety. Especially "Morning Phase" which won 7 Grammy's.
It’s because the women doesn’t move on until she has a place or person to move on with. You find out later she left you years before in her heart and mind.
I’ve loved every album but Guero. His music shifts from genre to genre and almost always delivers a cohesive balanced album. He is one of the 90’s best that has continued on.
@@billyruben2269 Guero is awesome, it did start the trend of Beck making more grounded music compared to his 90s stuff but it's still an amazing album. Colors and Hyperspace are the only weak album of his and even does have amazing song on them.
Beck is a GENIUS
He is great!

MORPHINE " cure for pain". Take a listen, prove me wrong. Blessings to y'all
haha we will check it out!
Yeah, this is a great song. I like Beck's 2000's/2010's music better than his 90's music.
Thanks for watching Rager!
You take Colors and Hyperspace over Odelay, Mutations and Midnite Vultures don't agree with you...?
"Phase/Turn Away" from the Morning Phase album is succinct but haunting.
Thanks for the suggestion and for watching Jeffrey!
I only knew one song of Beck’s back in the 90’s and I didn’t like it. I was pleasantly surprised on how good this song is.
I (Shawn) was as well Jason. Thanks!
Gem
Agreed Luke!

There is some serious truth to that one!
