I've been sickened by the attacks and assaults that our Asian mothers, fathers, grandparents across the US and Canada. I can't imagine this sort of thing happening to my friends and family. I've been fortunate in my life to not been on the receiving end of any physical attacks due to the colour of my skin but I've had racist remarks yelled at me from cars and, even as recent as last weekend, from the checkout line of the damn grocery store. (Not to mention all the racial microaggressions I'm sure we've all have faced in one way or another.)
I don't expect to raise thousands of dollars for this initiative but I need to use the platform I have been given to try to at least make a difference - plus every little bit helps. Note that the total donation amount includes all UA-cam fundraisers under The Try Guys' campaign :)

omg, this situation is getting bigger and bigger, hope the authorities can do something, thanks for the video.
however, many of us don't think more policing and incarceration is the solution to the problem. it targets the symptom, but it doesn't address the root problem.
as one might say, scew the authorities, they would just take their sweet time.

I honestly am truly sickened by what's been going on in recent times and over the past years but even in general with the microaggressions/stereotypes that I would hear people say, believe, and assume throughout my life as a (black female/) third-person or outsider of the AAPI community; and then having to defend you guys in your absence because...that's what you should do as a human. So it truly never made any sense to me how people could think/be this way - ever - especially since I never grew up with AAPI friends in my community but still treated them equally when I saw them at school/university/in public.
But that just brings me to say thanks for doing this fundraiser I had plans of donating sometime next week but seeing this playlist, I'm just going to do it now when the premiere starts. I stand with you guys, just like y'all did for us, period.
Yessss! I too am a black latina mixed, and many people, some in the black community, have been saying not to support AAPI because "they don't support us." NO, I will support any human being that is not being treated as a human being because that is true humanity and we should be spreading LOVE to everyone! We will always support the AAPI community, Black community, Latino/Hispanic community, and every other community in the world that is being discriminated against and treated unfairly. No one should be dying or killing each other. THAT indeed is NOT humane. (So sorry i typed so much) But in all, I stand by you and every other person who is spreading love to the Asian Community ❤️❤️❤️ #justice #peace #stopasianhate
