If you get a chance to interview the CEO. You should really push on the tokenomics. He said Gala will be used for most things, but what? What is the burn mechanism? Looks like Gala is going below 1 cent unless a miracle happens. It has fallen way more than other coins. Sooner or later Gala does have to think about investors as well
It's basically a centralized fiat currency, if central banks cannot even prevent fiat currency from losing value, of course small private companies can't!
I like Gala Games and own NFTs for several Games but I won't hodl any Gala because I never liked the tokenomics tbh.

Here from a youtuber named Juawn who a year ago reccomended this video as a good review.
I would say the reason games like this don't get recognition in the wider sense is because of what OxJesusMartinez stated in the beginning " as investors". A game shouldn't be looked at from a investor standpoint but rather a audience / fan viewpoint. Crypto games instead of being player focused are "investor" focused which means it dosent draw people in except for the initial people who hope to make money off the game. Instead of being a fun pass time it just becomes another job and the investors try to pass off their "scholarships" ( or whatever the game wants to call it lol) to make a passive income. With no new players entering the passive income becomes less a reality and if those who are holding aren't wanting to play because they are investors rather then players and players aren't finding the gameplay fun because the focus is more for investors then you end up with a dead game that has no playerbase.
That is the main issue with Crypto gaming and why Crypto gaming channels / games themselves don't get any attention.
Have to say though I am loving the energy in this video and can tell he at least does have a passion for gaming and isn't trying to shill the game just because he invested money into it lol.
