These are the classic golden gem review videos that belong on top of the search results on UA-cam.
Not those other youtube celebrities or artificial intelligent reviews.

I had a waste king disposal that quit working in 2020 when it was 11 years old. Plumber installed iISE
And charge me $550. It quit today! So it lasted 4 years! I did not register my disposal as I should have.
What is the warranty on an ISE?
In my previous home I had a disposal that worked for 27 years with no issues!

Hi there, @shelleycharlesworth5177. Thanks for stopping by. Depending on the model, ISE warranty ranges from 3 to 10 years. For example, the Badger 5 is 3 years, Power Series are 6 to 7 years, and the newest Advance Series are 9 to 10 years. If you provide the exact model, we can help you look it up. Best of luck ^^.

Just ran across mountaint plumbing stealth model. Seems good but really no info on them. Any experience with them?

They are Rebadged Wasteking units at inflated prices. Insinkerator and Wasteking are the only two big consumer manufacturers, everything sold under a different name is just relabeled.

Units do look very similar if not exact to the wasteking whirlaway line. Marketing did seem a bit sketchy but I was sold on the compact size and lifetime warranty. Let's see how that plays out. Thx for the heads up!

@@nate5520 To add a little more detail, easiest way to identify manufactures is to look at the grind chamber, once you know the base design of insinkerator and Wasteking its very easy to identify rebrands.
Additionally when it comes to modern residential disposals, any unit with front mounted reset buttons= Wasteking OEM, permanent magnet motor = Wasteking OEM, made in China or “designed in the USA”= Wasteking OEM. Induction motor= insinkerator OEM, bottom mounted reset= insinkerator OEM, made in USA= insinkerator OEM.
In order for Mountain Plumbing to make the larger (3/4 hp and up) Wasteking OEM units more compact, they essentially omit the sound insulating shell that’s normally present on most larger Wasteking legend units. The trade off is an overall more noisy unit, in favor of being compact.
Unfortunately the way Mountain Plumbing can offer lifetime warranty is by both charging a premium for a rebranded product, and not including labor costs in the warranty. Sure they will replace a defective unit, but unless they let you install the replacement yourself, you gotta pay whatever the labor charge is out of pocket. Insinkerator direct by contrast offers 1-12 year warranty depending on the model, labor included.
Sorry if that was to much info lol, I worked in the plumbing industry and learned way to much about garage disposal designs over the years 😅.
