I love how we were ALL on the same page about priorities to make cruising work as a couple, with zero prior coordination! Clear message. Hope this helps other couples wondering if it's right for them, too - thanks for including us!
Really, it was like we all had a shared script....but we didn't!! Thanks so much for sharing your expertise....since you kind of get credit for helping me make the decision to do this cruising thing - it was perfect that you were in this video :)
All very good information. It is my dream and my wife seems willing to do it. I have spent my life at sea, so this is no change for me. Except on a ship, if I have a problem, I call on the crew. I like Nordhavn, but affordability becomes a problem. And as a retired couple , we have a fixed income. Mostly my dream keeps getting put off by life. I thought we were almost there, but our granddaughter asked to come to the states for college (from the Philippines). Well, what can you say. We were thinking of a larger yacht for more space. Something in the 70-100 ft range. But it looks like I will be stuck on land a while longer. Boating is a nice life. Best wishes
Good question...no idea...maybe you should get a Fleming and vlog for us! :) And yes, we like the lower center of gravity and feel much more stable in the 57 than some of the other, taller, boats we've been on.
Just asking seems nordhavn it needs lots of repairs a brand new nordhavn 51 awanui nz stabilizer both needed repair engine over heating problem electronics loss of steering auto pilot so why pay all money when you have lots of repair I'm in sailing
That was hull #1, and most of the repairs are covered under warranty. In addition, all boats need repairs, on sail boats rigs and sails break or need fixing all the time. Just watch any sailing channel and you’ll see all the work they have to do as well.
Not sure about the 51. As far as our 3, they were each around 20 years old, so it was more updating they needed. However, if you’re a boat owner, you know that it means always having a list of things to work on. As soon as you finish one thing, another project arises.
I know you shouldn’t say anything if you’re not going to say something nice. But this is our least favorite Nordhaven channel actually we here at this Marina haven’t subscribed because Every time we watch it, it’s all the same. One or both of them in front of the camera the whole time 90% of their videos. No thank you.

Best of luck to you! I hope you get out there next day!
In your opinion why don’t we see Fleming vlog beside Tony and Frea? With no experience I would think lower centre of gravity be more stable.

Not sure how to take that 😅 But thanks for your concern? 😂 Have a great one!

why don't you let the other person finish speaking! The mutual interruptions are tedious to watch. Greetings
Sorry to bore you 😂 Cheers!
