      Friedrich and his comfortable clothing initiated comfortable interpretations. This is one of those performances you’re not sure if it’s the wonderful piano or the guy’s fantastic playing. Makes those staccato’d keys sound beautiful

      He plays it with personality BUT WITH CORRECT TIMING. Unlike overrated showoffs like horowitz who play stuff either too quiet or too loud, mainly when coming to mozart. They will play stuff so stupidly and fall on the wrong beat or a half late or behind, make it essentially hard to listen to

    • @sebastianciarfella3061
      @sebastianciarfella3061 2 роки тому +1

      @@yeahyes3615 ok you might call him anything you want: overrated, a showoff, and what not (even if greats like Martha Argerich, Daniil trofonov, Evgeny kissin, and others might STRONGLY disagree with you), but let me tell you, his Mozart is probably one of the most controlled, nuanced yet non-chalant piano playing of all time. It's just a matter of checking his sonata in the 1986 concert. I can tolerate different opinion, but not blind accusations.

    Viel zu schnell! Allegro bedeutet italienisch "heiter", nicht "hektisch"! Mozart hat sich bekanntlich immer wieder darüber beklagt, dass seine Musik zu schnell gespielt würde. Quelle: Seine Korrespondenz mit seinem Vater Leopold. "Zu Hilfe, sonst bin ich verloren" lautet der Titel eines Buches von Grete Wehmayer. Dem muss man nichts hinzufügen. Außerdem lautet eine der Grundelemente
    der Mozart´schen Musik "Bewegung"; man muss sie daher nicht noch hochputschen. Alternativen: Perahia, Serkin, Haebler, Anda, Pirez, Ushida, Barenboimm Buchbinder u.a.
