Sean I have used black thread for the spark plug wires, just saying. My Dad had a 64 chevy blue and white 3 speed on the column with a 283 engine, a real sweet truck I loved it a lot.
I have seen many people do that Dan. I am trying to stay within what comes in the box, except for paint and glue. My plan is to get people to not get overwhelmed. This is kind of the non-contest, just for fun builds for maybe someone who wants a model of their real car, or one they had, or one they wished they had. I watch a lot of guys on UA-cam that do the drill outs for plugs and everything. I'm just keeping it simple. But maybe I will do it down the road just to show people. Thanks for the comment!

My tip: Buy an airbrush, it's much better than a spray can. You really see the difference 👍
