Brent, that is most certainly a big log to work with. Removing the bark sure helps to extend the blade life. Quite the check in that one piece. Lots of lumber in that 12x16 cant. You have some nice firewood from cutting the slabs (Off-cuts). Have a good one!
Hey Paul, those big ones are sometimes hard to handle but, they're too good for fire wood.With the slabs and top there maybe enough fire wood for a winter. Thanks for stopping by. Brent
Hey Mr Brent , that hammer chisel is pretty slick for removing the bark and that was a great idea to move the processor to cut the slabs .👍🏻🇺🇸
