Hi Greg, I have to say that I watch many of your demos just to hear you play guitar. Your style truly inspires us all. Please keep the videos coming, as I could listen all day!!

Best amp demos by far. You run the amp through everything they can do ,and show gut shots and go over the specs, and not to forget the wonderful playing. Very cool.

another great demo video with the usual stellar playing. I am glad to see you getting more work doing demos because you do them right.

Thank you very much, glad you like my demos! I prefer smaller, lower wattage amps these days like my Swart AST PRO and Tungsten Crema Wheat. Simple pure circuits that offer organic vintage style tone and inspiring to play. So many great amps being made now though - it's a new Golden Era of tone for sure and we are all fortunate to have so many choices!

Thank you! I developed this approach to demos to offer viewers well recorded quality audio, HD video and hi-res pics. Just wanted to give everyone a "virtual tour" of each product both sonically and visually.

My hats off to whom ever created the format for these amp demo videos. They are superb. Greg, you are a good choice for the player as well. Hope they are paying you well, because I am sure you are selling amps for these mfr's.

Why all amp makers who make these boutique classic rock/roots rock amps do not get you to do their demos eludes me. You give a great representation of how good the amp can sound. Great miking technique and playing. IMHO

@Kitarist88 I think it's a unique creation from Steve Carr's design dreamscapes, lots of chime if needed and chewy grind when pushed. Plexi's are incredible amps, enjoy yours.

@marvelboy04 I use a variety of thick wall, heavy Dunlop slides: glass, ceramic Joe Perry, Mud Slide, Keb Mo, Coricidin, brass. Try them and see what you like the tone of, it's good to have a few choices for different tones. My action is Medium height so it works fine for me, it really comes down to your touch and how much pressure you put down on the strings. Certainly no right or wrong way, just play everyday and you'll find your voice.

Greg could plug a Teisco Del Rey into a raw chicken and it would sound amazing! SOOOO talented! I love watching all of his demos of amps, but have to realize that they won't make me sound like him! Love ya Greg! Thanks for posting Sir!

to Greg V: I love your demos and I feel that the videos you've created offer an amazing opportunity for the average guitarist to hear high-end-amps that aren't readily available to try for most of us. That said, after playing so many different amps, which amps have become your top choices and what did each of those offer that endeared them to you? I know its personal preference but I was just curious....Thank you for producing these informative, entertaining demos! Curtis

  • @WarBeer

Greg, LOVE your demos, playing and writing! Concerning the tele/slide playing here...do you set up your string radius a bit flatter than the fingerboard? I ask, because I'm playing a 7.25" tele and my "G" string doesn't ring out very easily. It feels like it's not making the same level of contact as the D and B strings.

What kind of amp does this amp represent? An improved 18watt?
I'm kinda thinking modding my marshall plexi so its not so in your face sound and dynamics.
