    Ben's designs are amazing. He's putting machined bow risers from the UK at the worlds top tier. Keep up the good work Ben and Team Merlin.

    Got my eye on a 27" version so glad I could hear more details on it. Love the look. It's between this one and a Fivics Titan EX which is about $100US more. I am leaning this way. Wonder what it will feel like with medium limbs to top out at 70 inches. I guess I will find out soon. Well done !!

    Cheapest 27 inch riser out there and worth the money, Even moving to higher end risers i think worth it as a backup bow.
    Not a fan of the grip personally but Rcore solves that issue. Hope the local store has one since i want to try out a 27 for oly recurve at some point & maybe trade my 25 riser in for it.

    I really like this design, I wish a 21 or 19 inch version was available. Nothing against the Pathfinder but I like this design more especially the grip.

    I bought the next model up Mybo Elite last week, really good. You came into the range when James and I was setting up. I was too star struck to ask for a photo! Maybe next time.

    Liked your review. I have a WNS MOTIVE FX25 classified as an intermediate riser and would like to upgrade. There are not so many brands available in my country except for the Chinese brands which are affordable. I’m now deciding on SANLIDA X 10 or TOPOINT UNISON riser. Are they good choices or will I just stick to my old WNS MOTIVE FX 25 riser?

    Hi. The green one looks gorgeous in the video, though anywhere else on the internet, including Mybo website, it appears a lighter green. What is called the color of the green one in the video? Is it "lizard green"? Or something else? Thank you.

      I have the same thought. They use renders for advertisements, but not sure why not add the realistic shine that they have. I liked the images on the website, then watched this video and the colors are completely different. I preferred the ones on the website, like very mat. Very misleading.

    HI all, does anyone own one of these? I am getting back into the sport after a long absence and have seen these in my local shop. I am looking for a beginner into intermediate riser that I can develop with and love the look of them. Clearly I will ask to test one before buying, but interested in how people have found them as I can't find reviews of a Wave X in actual use. Any thoughts/experiences are appreciated.

    If it wasn't for the close proximity of the lower stabilizer bushing to the tiller bolt, I would have bought one.

      CNC means just "computer numerical control", and controls the table movement and bit height. There are routers/bits designed for wood and they work great. Only issue you would have is complex designs with holes in like this would make a wood riser structurally very weak. As CNC machines are expensive to set up and run they aren't really worth it for the simple designs of wood risers, and wood is very easy to work by hand anyway.

    I'm new to archery and bought the 25" waveX and am using long limbs with an OR setup. I like it, it's very light weight, allowing me to add weight where I want it. I've been shooting it for a couple weeks and am very happy with it. A couple questions though... the instructions don't give a recommended brace height range. Is there a range you would suggest, or is that more dependent on the limbs? Also, do any other manufacturer's grips fit this bow? Being new, I have no idea if there is any standard in grip fittings, or if each grip fitting is proprietary to each manufacturer. Thanks

    • @MerlinArchery
      @MerlinArchery  3 роки тому

      Hey David, Brace height, but for the most part is defined by the limbs, the tuning and personal preference. but if you check out the mybo website, there will be a good jumping off point to try based on your setup. As for the grip, as far as I know there isn't really a bother grip that fits. however we do a zebrano grip. being a wooden grip it can be customised.
      Hope that helps buddy?
