I need to play this for math class. There were two videos on how to play. This was the better one, thank god.
Another variation of the dice game yacht (of which Yahtzee is a derivative of) that I like to play is Kismet: The Modern Game of Yacht. That is played similar to this, except the dice are colored: 1 and 6 are black, 2 and 5 are red, and 3 and 4 are green. The bottom half is slightly different as a result, and a chance in that game (while scored the same way) is known as a yarborough. Scoring five of a color is called a flush, and you can also have a full house that doubles as a flush.
A Kismet is that version's equivalent of a Yahtzee. Unlike Yahtzee, if a player gets a second Kismet, then all other players automatically score zero for one category of their choice and lose the next turn.

That was a nice, simple explanation of an excellent dice game. It works well as a solitaire of sorts, too, whether you set a minimum score to achieve-like something between 250 and 300-to declare a win or simply play and try to beat your high score. For future videos on dice games, I suggest Yacht, Shut the Box, or Liar's Dice. Thanks!

It’s not as tricky to understand as you might think. In most of the scoring categories the “How to score” column spells out how to score that section.

How many bonus should i add in lower column if i get yatzee...for example if i already get yatzee and again i get yatzee where to add that 50 points....this only confusing
According to Wikipedia, if the player throws a Yahtzee and has already filled the Yahtzee box with a score of 50, they score a Yahtzee bonus and get an extra 100 points. However, if they throw a Yahtzee and have filled the Yahtzee category with a score of 0, they do not get a Yahtzee bonus.
After the bonus, you would then score for a different category as normal.
So it's poker dice?
if you know how to play poker it might be easy for you to get the points parts
If you have 3 of a kind is it.
Like 3 6 and 2 and 1 are the points 18 or 21?

If you score for 3 of a kind, the score is 21. If you chose to just score for the three sixes, the score is 18.
What if you get a yahtzee at the end, do you get to roll and try for a bonus Yahtzee?
If it's the very last turn of the game, I would assume you do not get the bonus opportunity.

You are saying that Yatzee can be scored in 3 of a kind or 4 of a kind boxes and also for both straights. But Yatzee is only 5 of a kind combination, so you are wrong. Why the hell can it be scored in other lower section boxes then? Doesn't make any sense.
I think he was referring to the situation when a player has already scored 50 points for the Yahtzee the first time, but they rolled a second Yahtzee later in the game. In that circumstance, you would score a bonus of 100 points first of all, and then the rules state you must score for a different category you haven't chosen yet. Thus, you could score the points for 3 of a kind or 4 of a kind.
The Wikipedia page on this game also says this: scoring is the same as normal after a bonus, except that, if the Upper Section box corresponding to the Yahtzee has been used (i.e., if a player used their sixes and rolled five sixes again), the Full House, Small Straight and Large Straight categories can be used to score 25, 30 or 40 (respectively) even though the dice do not meet the normal requirement for those categories. In this case the Yahtzee is said to act as a "Joker."
