- Tonight I have a Mega Scrapbook Layout Share with 100 plus Pages! It is Part 4 of a 5 Part layout share series that will us walk down my Close to My Heart memory lane! I began creating scrapbooking workshops in late 2017 and have created thousands and thousands of pages! I have created so many pages for my personal use and so many more pages for gifts and as master prototypes for papercrafters all over the world. Each and every one of them has brought me so much joy--not just in the finished product but in the creative process and in the sharing process. Sharing papercrafting all over the world has filled up my friendship and creative cup! As a tribute to an amazing run with Close to My Heart I am sharing 500 scrapbook layouts in a 5 part series with 100 layouts in each part! I will share 1 each week for 5 weeks until my CTMH career comes to an end on April 30th! Thank you so much for watching and sharing this walk down memory lane with me! I love seeing all of yuur ideas and styles. Aurora was one of the first guides I bought from you. I never did finish it lol. I so loved the way you did your pages on that I had to have it.

My husband has rehearsals Mon nights. It’s been a treat to spend the time with Kelly and her beautiful art! I’ll miss it when you finish next week. Did you say you had lots more? LOL
Hahaha yes funny!! I’m going to miss it also but I’m hoping that I have so much more to share in the coming months. Maybe a little different maybe some the same but just as exciting and fun! So sad next week is the last. I have throughly enjoyed this walk down memory lane. Will you eventually add photos to the layouts without any? I struggle adding photos down the line. I rarely make layouts without having photos in mind. Thanks for sharing.
I know it is gone so fast! And I have thousands of layouts with photos in my albums, but I have thousands that do not have them because I make duplicate sets because I create workshops and workshop guides as part of my business in addition to being an avid paper crafter for my own self! I can’t imagine that I would be able to use all of the creations that I have made in the last nine years on the business side. However, I do eventually use almost all of the initial master set. I often put pages in albums as gifts and then I also enjoy saving some like artwork. It might sound strange to people who don’t do what I do, but it’s difficult for me to let go of some of them, it’s sort of a chronological history!! I do actually do well with putting photos on after the fact because I have a photo printer at home that makes it pretty easy to get the photos the exact size size. I will say that I am better in the last couple years at getting the photos on then I was in the beginning and I really think it’s because of my printer
Thanks for sharing your beautiful layouts. Will you share how you did the rolled flowers from the Yesterday and Today layout?
Sure! So they were scalloped strips of paper. I’m guessing anywhere from 1/ quarter to a half inch and we rolled them into curls and inserted them inside each other until they were a rolled flower. Does that kind of make sense? It’s rolled paper strips and then you can also punch out a small circle and use a very sturdy glue and glue , the flower roll onto a flat circle. I don’t have any kind of a video demonstrating it so I hope that kind of makes sense.❤️
Why do most of the pages have no photos???
Because I create thousands and thousands of pages and I can’t possibly use them all. I also create master pages and then do pre-cuts and create them again so many of the pages were from my workshops! Most of my completed pages are in page protectors, and in albums, so I couldn’t possibly pull out 600 pages of my albums! I create a minimum of two workshops for each paper line every single month, and I’ve been doing it for six years or longer so I can’t possibly use all the pages😜 I use them for my paper crafters and for my business❤️ but I definitely have thousands of pages completed in my personal albums
