- Caitlin Clark went from 6th all time assists leader to 4th in this game. She is about 2-3 games away from 3rd. She is 2nd for all time 3 pointers made and 2-3 games away from that record as well. She is the all time scorer for NCAA D1 men or women.
This was a nail biter of a game with Nebraska leading most of it. Both teams won on their home court in the regular season.
Clark said "Ain't no way we are losing this one" !!! Beast! 😮
Hats off to Sydney Afolter who did a great job defensively on Nebraska phenom Logan Nissley. Sydney is Iowa's unsung hero, their spark off the bench.
Should've played Sydney more this past season. Or maybe they did and she just now came alive enough to get noticed. I hope Molly is OK.

Kate Martin hitting 3 critical 3-point shots late. She also had 2 blocked shots and a great assist to Stuelke late. But Clark is beyond belief at the most crunch of crunch time, including the steal off Shelly's pass.
Both teams were great. Sold out crowds. 💰💰💸💵
Team really got it together in the 2nd quarter....Clark as she usually does,got hot and hit her 3's, Marshall's blocks were a big factor.
As much as I dislike Nebraska l have to give it you great game. Iowa though showed great heart and didn't give up. Fantastic game Way to go Iowa!

That was going to be a tough loss for either team. Both played their hearts out. A GREAT performance by both teams. Caitlin Clark is still fun to watch, even on a sub-par day. The TEAM won that game today. She would readily concede that. If they can keep that up, things could get interesting in the tournaments. Hope they don't face Nebraska again. Whew.

Why do they always double and leave the shooters open for the Three regardless whether the guy being doubled is a real threat? Every team, men, women and Tran does this. Why?

The Nebraska coach cost them the game when she called that time-out with 9.8 seconds left. Waited too long and took them out of their rhythm.
Cost them from winning in regulation but not losing in overtime.
@@billdavis5483 They were never going to win in overtime after Iowa scored 7, 9 points in 2 minutes? The momentum turned and CC turned it on. You don't have the chance of a snowball in hell of winning that game against that player and that team in overtime.

@@shellya6212 Right. The last shot in regulation that could have won it was so short it did not make it to the rim I think. It seems the timeout increased the choke factor.
Nebraska has played iowa tougher than any team. Nebraska is absolutely great, they will go far. Im a diehard iowa fan. Im now adding Nebraska wbb to my must watch list Good luck. You have a final 4 caliber team.
