Im sorry but I dont care what anyone says, Halo 4 truly had some amazing music. Neil did a great job. Now, Kazuma has perfected Neil's work, perfected and stayed faithful to Marty's work and added his own unique flair. He has incorporated everything, from every Halo game perfectly into every piece of Music I have heard. He has made any doubts about Halo 4's music and this music and frankly any other music about not being Halo and has made them feel how music in Halo should. Epic. Powerful. Emotional. I can feel the dedication and scale put into this music and if the game even reflects an ounce of what has been shown in the OST's well... we've got one of if not the best games coming out... ever. Kazuma, you've won my heart.
I'm not even kidding, I about cried in the middle of my lunch room hearing Blue Team (117). It reminded me of all the hardships that have happened in the storylines the past 13 years I have spent playing Halo and reading the books. 343 I was extremely skeptical of Halo 5 after the beta, but your dedication to your fans and to Halo's story is priceless. The fact that you are willing to listen to Halo's fans and change immediately has abolished all doubts that have plagued me. Thank you.
This is just gorgeous. Never has a video game pay so much attention and actually record the process of music and display it to its fans. People think video games are just toys. But they aren't. It's pure art
From an aspiring game developers perspective, this series is simply the most inspiring series I’ve ever watched and gets me so excited for my future. Although, I know other companies will not offer the same experience, I know that I’m going down the right path. Thank you for making this 343. All the best with finishing Halo: Infinite and I have my fingers crossed that “The Sprint” will return for the upcoming Halo!
***** I don't think Never Forget ever showed up in game. Yea, Reach was good, it just it was hard to feel anything for the characters, but I will give it to Reach for New Alexandria.
And these are the reasons why I love Halo, THE MUSIC!!! The way how it can grab me into it and get my emotions. Just hearing it made me tear up a little bit, it's such a beautiful sound hear and I absolutely love it!!
The first song - Covenant Prayers - is one of my favourite pieces from what I've heard of the soundtrack, and it's fascinating to hear the chant in its raw initial stages, up to the final sound. Also, cool seeing the Grunts worshiping the Guardian.
There are two things that keep me sane in this chaotic world. Music and videogames. And Halo is the full circle. The music, the story, the characters.....it's just beautiful. Oh, and 13:34.....the tears came.
Say what you will about Jinnouchi's use of the original Halo music, but he really is just an incredible composer. I mean the counterpoint and harmony at the start of Blue Team is just beautiful.
I can’t believe it’s already 5 years old...time, the only currency you’ll never get back. The Nostalgia I get from Halo is stronger than any other game. Almost like my previous years flood back into me, when life may have been more enjoyable...thank you Halo.
This. This is one of the biggest reasons why I'm so into Halo. Gorgeous music and dedication. Setting the MOOD. I could watch this video over and over again. I swear this song brings me to tears every time I hear it. Kazuma Jinnouchi, you are AMAZING.
Seeing the amount of love and detail into crafting a part of the game that is overlooked by so many is just incredible to see. The score of the Halo games has always had such a profound impact on the game and the experience the player has when going through the wonderful stories the games have to tell. I love this video series. Kaz has made yet another masterpiece.
Legitimately so heartbroken he's not returning to compose for Infinite. Could've been amazing; I'm sure Curtis Schweitzer will do great but still, there are few like Kasuma or Marty
I really appreciate and enjoy all these in-depth videos production journey. Please continue to do these for future halo games, because it builds so much hype and respect for the work that went into the game.
I swear ... Those last few minutes of this episodes gave me goosebumps all over my body. I still can't believe how awesome that moment was. Wow. Just wow. I have no words.
I really love the new soundtrack, especially from 12:30, but i'd really like to hear a little bit more the good old Halo theme, like when you are ina a Blue Team mission and a One-Final-Effort-Like-Song starts, it would be epic!
I just love the utilization of the orchestras and the choir. The Halo 4 117 motif truly deserves its new spot as one of the main, iconic Halo themes. These people in 343 Industries have shown me that they're truly trying to make an amazing, if not the best Halo game ever!
9:14 *to* 13:47 this _piece of art..._ this _masterpiece..._ this incredible _piece of pure bliss..._ the game halo 5 never deserved this music. it didn't deserve this music today. and it will never ever have deserved this music in the future either. Escucharla junto a la canción del jefe maestro conforman un complemento perfecto. Esta canción simplemente representa el sentimiento de hermandad y esperanza del equipo azul.
I was literarily crying when I heard the blue team 117 theme. Now 343 I see that you do listen to the community and that you are bringing all of our old favorites back like the Arbiter and Blue team it makes me respect you even more to know that you care about your community. Halo 2 was my childhood and so was 3, I still love and will always stay loyal to Halo, I think that Halo is different then most shooter games. It has a outstanding but deep soundtrack that can make people cry (depending) yet can still be real loud and filled with action. The older games and their classic feel to them and how their are all these books and mini movies out there. I also love how I depth the story line and how passionate the community is to make their own Spartan and elite names (like me). Thank you 343 and everyone for all all these amazing years of my life. Thank you Bungie for being the creator of one of the biggest assets to my childhood, and thank you 343 for carrying it on ;)
+chris alfano Agreed. I'm very afraid going into Halo 5. And not because I don't think this game will be good. From what I've seen, this games a god damn masterpiece. But there's so much emotion, we better not see the death of Chief. I don't think I could handle that.
this is absolutely beautiful. i get tears and goosebumps every time i hear halo music. brings back so many memories, man. i'm so pumped to play this game and listen to the soundtrack.
That Covenant chanting though. Hearing all those deep basso voices singing in the Sangheili language made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up on end the first time I heard it.
Who else couldn't resist singing along with the Halo Theme Chant at the beginning? Also, you know you have a great composer when you can tell a story with just music and no words. The end song made me very emotional.
The music performed throughout this nearly brought tears to my eyes. So many memories and such beautiful music put together makes this amazing to experience. One of the best Sprint episodes to date imho. I think I speak for most of us in saying that I think 343/MS should continue doing these ViDocs and not just for Halo but for all first party games. thanks for making this stuff. I love behind the scenes stuff like this. Especially for video games. People don't appreciate what goes into games enough. Also.....there's just nothing like a freakin' orchestra...man...

Neil's work was amazing. I agree as well :) Though, I can see why people didn't like it as much.
+Lester Dave Evangelista I agree it was great music but it missed the iconic score that makes halo halo.
I enjoyed 4 but there were far fewer themes I enjoyed. However 117 is my favorite theme out of the entire series so good on him.
+cjua2803 that one was composed by Kazuma Jinnouchi lol.
Oh shit didn't know that, whAt about never forget or green and blue; those are the only others I liked
Hearing the Halo theme being sung brought tears to my eyes :')
I know what you mean man :'D
I can totally relate, that blue team track, just made me cry :') just beautiful
+The RZI Guy Epic tears of manliness of course right?
+The RZI Guy just had the same... it is F* amazing!
+The RZI Guy Just Unbelieveable! How fast the tears came when I heared the sound :')
12:10 holy shit
+Mark VI Productions holy shit indeed
holy moly!
Im crying and i can't stop send help
+Mark VI Productions When i heard it i was like ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡⊙ ͜ʖ ͡⊙) ( ͡◉ ͜ʖ ͡◉)
Excellent halo
The last song is AMAZING!!!!
Love how "Blue Team" starts out with a lone violin then eventually a whole orchestra joins it. Really fitting as the Team's theme song :D
Kazuma is so up there with Marty.. I swear lol.
+Chief 117 He's right, this is just God amazing!!! Maybe even better!
+Lester Dave Evangelista please, He will never be as good as marty
+Chief 117 lol. Then you must be deaf.
+Helux 5665 So what, that doesn't mean his music is amazing. Kazuma did an amzing job.
Lester Dave Evangelista he will never be as good as Marty, that being said, he is still amazing and definitely close.
Every time I see music created in this scale it just humbles me. Knowing what it takes just makes me appreciate it more.
Would love to be in that recording room hearing all of this in person
Jinnouchi: Respecting the roots, whilst blending in his own flair. So happy they set him for the roll. :'D
I'm not even kidding, I about cried in the middle of my lunch room hearing Blue Team (117). +Duncan Matchette Build team? It's Blue Team
ssjstr99 whoops, thanks for the catch. My phone is dumb with slide to text sometimes.
lol no problem. I also had some tears with these songs
+Duncan Matchette When I first heard the song at the end I was so hyped for the game but then I listened to it again...
I fucking cried. :')
***** You shouldn't get MCC, I don't think anyone would play it once H5 comes out.
that last bit of music is just incredible. the way it crescendos at around 11:55 and then drops down... and smacks you right in the feels at 12:15.
Halo 5 will probably have the best OST this year.
Obviously what else comes close?
+Rob Tennant The Witcher 3 has an epic soundtrack but definitely not as epic as Halo.
+Rob Tennant Witcher 3 had a really good soundtrack too
+Sir_Bruce Every track is like 1-2 minutes though, some even less than.
+Rob Tennant Ori and The Blind Forest
Kazuma Jinnouchi, you are a God.
+Fletch - HaloFollower Heir to Marty's Throne!
+MetalHeadSpartan Amen.

The Sprint is just so good!
+Ready Up Live So true!

+HaloFan117I even downloaded the video and just cut that part
+Ulises Varela Good idea!
+HaloFan117 same
+HaloFan117 I listen to halo music when doing dishes everynight.. this is my new dishes music haha

117 was my favorite track in Halo 4, and holy shit the feels at the end. I can imagine where this plays, and it scares me.
+DarkFalcon It's way too sad to be in a Halo game, but then it progressively gets epic.
+blackknightkanos Um what about the Reach soundtrack? Never Forget from Halo 3? Those were even sadder.
***** I don't think Never Forget ever showed up in game. Yea, Reach was good, it just it was hard to feel anything for the characters, but I will give it to Reach for New Alexandria.
Nowhere lol

As soon as I heard the halo 3 music at the end, I went out and sold my PS4 and got myself an Xbox One. I'm so fucking hyped for this game.
+-BFA- Alex haha love it halo is love halo is life brother
I love how after Halo 4 it seems "not Halo" and bringing it back...makes this game so awesomd
True story?
Halo is nothing without its music that why halo 4 failed
+salman isnt the last song they played here originally from Halo 4? :)
OMG Jinouchi work is amazing!! literally I cried at the end of the video, very very good Halo music :')
Those Halo 3 piano notes at the end of 117 made me break down and cry like a little bitch. Kazuma Jinnouchi, you are my hero!
HOLY CRAP. This actually blows Marty's latest work out of the water and then some.
Man Halo has beautiful music. my favorite video game of all time
That music....... Im so glad that even without Marty Halo will still sound special.
The Halo Theme chills. Nothing beats that feeling. :')
I'm glad 343 is bringing back the original theme for chief, it's like the composer said, it's like the james bond theme.
Now this is how you compose a Halo soundtrack.
Watching all these behind the scene videos will really make me appreciate every little voice and character in this amazing game.
I can’t believe it’s already 5 years old...time, the only currency you’ll never get back.
The Nostalgia I get from Halo is stronger than any other game. Almost like my previous years flood back into me, when life may have been more enjoyable...thank you Halo.
3:32 T_T I can't hold back my tears. It sounds so beautiful. The acoustics are remarkable.
Absolutely amazing, this is shaping up to be the best soundtrack I've ever heard.
Sometimes I come back to watch them perform Blue Team and get goosebumps all over again haha
10:52 im crying I don't usually cry over stuff like this but this was just to amazing!
Damn i was such a wuss last year

Halo has one of if not the best soundtracks in gaming consistently.
Engage goosebumps at 12:35. Sound track is so good
Legitimately so heartbroken he's not returning to compose for Infinite. Could've been amazing; I'm sure Curtis Schweitzer will do great but still, there are few like Kasuma or Marty
It is a travesty, yes. But do not worry, for 343 somehow got Gareth Cooker to compose some scores. We're in good hands, my fellow Halo fan!
the little bit of piano at the end brought instant tears.
Its amazing how much work goes into simply making everything BUT the game. The music required so much effort and passion
The music at the end was god-tier. Thank you for bringing the Sprint back!! Love this series!
Thank you for uploading that video. So beautifully put together, the music overpowers my emotions, tears of joy, of excitement. Masterpiece!
Oh my god. the new way arrangement is so epic. it really has more character and is so majestic.
117 arrangement.
I really appreciate and enjoy all these in-depth videos production journey. Please continue to do these for future halo games, because it builds so much hype and respect for the work that went into the game.

Watching it happen LIVE is truly incredible

the game halo 5 never deserved this music. it didn't deserve this music today. and it will never ever have deserved this music in the future either.

this slow somber 117 music is scaring the shit out of me.

+JosephCraftHD chief wont die in 5 confirmed. but they have planned his end
I know, chiefs end is the end for halo for me. And that slowed more powerful 117 theme makes it seem like the end
+Νικολαος Βασιλας for some reason I dont think he will die in 6, but go back in cryo..
+cjua2803 As long as Blue Team doesn't die with Chief at the same time, I'm sticking with Halo.
music gives me chills. beautiful songs for a special series!
As a musician and viola player, I can say that I would have loved to record with those people. They are gods.
this is absolutely beautiful. i get tears and goosebumps every time i hear halo music. brings back so many memories, man. i'm so pumped to play this game and listen to the soundtrack.
Halo has and always will have the best soundtrack.
Halo 3 = Best Halo game ever. Please bring us the old Halo back.
after all these years the halo theme still gives me goosebumps!
The new version of 117 appropriately titled 'Blue Team' is just beautiful!
That Covenant chanting though. Hearing all those deep basso voices singing in the Sangheili language made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up on end the first time I heard it.
That Scene where did the original theme song gave me goosebumps....
I really cannot wait for this game!
My god, that Halo 3 Piano in the end really put a nice final touch to the track.
Who else couldn't resist singing along with the Halo Theme Chant at the beginning? Also, you know you have a great composer when you can tell a story with just music and no words. The end song made me very emotional.
Wow, I am just in awe. The music is fantastic and just simply Halo.
It really opens your eyes as to how much work and dedication these guys put into making a game and it would probably help the more jaded 343 haters who refuse to give them a proper shake too.
+Raphael Nelson Sure as hell helped a couple of my friends who were adamantly against 343 come around...
Jinnouchi captures the essence of Halo so much better than Davidage ever did.
The music is the thing I'm looking forward the most, seriously I got goosebumps all throughout the video.
Can't wait to add this music to the collection. Sounds beautiful!
I keep getting goosebumps because of how beautiful this is
This might be the best behind the scenes video of anything ever.
love that it just let the music speak for itself. so hype
thanks for making this stuff. I love behind the scenes stuff like this. Especially for video games. People don't appreciate what goes into games enough. Also.....there's just nothing like a freakin' orchestra...man...
The score sounds fantastic so far. So much hype.
That was the most beautiful sounding thing I've probably ever watched.
This is genuinely amazing. Kazuma and those musicians are awesome
So happy to be alive with such badass music
God Damn, tears. Beautiful!
9:19 - 13:43 Such a gorgeous evolution of the piece "117" from H4 into "Blue Team" from H5!
This video has definitely been one of the high points of my Halo 5 hype. GOOSEBUMPS at the end 343 is doing so many things right.
Ah...Music, one of humanity's greatest treasures.
I told myself I wouldn't get hyped, yet here I am, again. Can't wait to get back in this universe.
The music at the end caused my loins to weep with the joy of pure ecstacy.
Halo has such a great soundtrack. That Gregorian chant is a signature. Very happy to see it back in the Halo 5 theme.
Who could possibly dislike this!
Truly phenomenal work!
Has the possibly to be the best soundtrack yet! Blue team has already made it to my top 5 favorite halo songs. Too beautiful.
This is fantastic. I literally want to cry. Halo has the best musical scores. Thank you Microsoft and 343 for this video!
The amount of chills I got from this video is insane. Great job 343!
The goosebumps! I can't take it!
Halo, it's been 8 years. I'm back!
Absolutely beautiful music
The most Epic Episode! Here´s the Soul of Halo 5! Congrats to all envolved!!
I love the OST. 117 is a master piece. And this video was perfectly edited
well done mr jinnouchi for creating such an awesome soundtrack!
Halo hands down has the best music. It makes you so emotional.
