Word to the wise though learn from my mistake . If you ever get hurt on the job stay on ur workman’s comp till they, the doctors release u. Don’t let your pride think you can do it and push yourself. I went back to work after 6 months with a failed back surgery trying to care for my kids and at time stay at home wife to working a few months till my legs gave out and since I was never released by my doctors and went bk to work I lost my workman’s comp I had no choice but to go in state disability with a major paycut.. so yeah learn from my mistake don’t let your pride get the better of u.

My mom passed away a few years ago at the age of 94. She was cremated and her remains were placed in an urn. At the end of her graveside service, I asked the funeral director what the procedure was for the actual burial, and he said his staff would take care of it after everyone left. In that moment, I decided that if she brought me into this world, raised me right, and took care of me, then the least I could do was be the one to lay her in her eternal resting place as she left this world. So, I found a shovel nearby and actually buried my mother. It was ultimately the most complete closure that a son could have for a wonderful Godly woman.

I've seen housecats fight and argue and I often wonder if I could avoid a fight with a mountain lion by using techniques I've seen with my own cats. For example, anytime two are growling at each other if one turns and runs the other chases, so I wouldn't do that. Also they fluff their tails and srand sideways to appear larger so I would pull the bottom of my shirt away from my body to appear larger... Etc...

I kept a neighbor from potentially killing himself while we was a break down and saying wanted to die. All I did was listen to him about his troubles. They were of a financial nature, I simply listened to his troubles and reassured him that such things are only temporary. I told to keep his nose to the grindstone and eventually things will get better. He lightened up a bit. Before we knew it, we were laughing and joking about stressful hardships we'd endured. All he needed was someone to listen and give a little encouragement. I see him now and then. He always makes a point to wave or greet me. Before that situation we had never spoken before. He's still alive. His kids still have their father.

He also helps people out all the time with moves and other heavy hard thing even though he's had a back injury, a couple of permanent dislocated joints (so do it), a genetic coronary artery disease (he's skinny because he can't eat any saturated fat), is an eye melanoma cancer survivor, and is over 60. He took care of me on several occasions when I was badly injured or so sick I couldn't stand. He also is the ultimate backwoods guy, kind of disappointed I don't want to canoe through and camp around the humid mosquito infested waterways of MN. I'm from WI, I've had enough of being out weekends or for a week on end in mosquito and tick infested woods. He can carry a whole dresser by himself still and builds all kinds of things for me and works outdoors when he's not working a job even though he's a PhD chemist (fellas don't think girls don't like nerds, we're not stupid, we know nice nerds earn more money than clod headed guys and are less likely to spend time away from family or mess around with bad stuff, we just don't like riot happy, revoluntary soy boys that get coddled by government and media). My son can make a basketball shot while standing backwards, can run easily over mile (probably could run with cheetahs for all I know), and can also move things ny himself.
