I know absolutely nothing about horses, however I can see that what you do is an essential thing to do for horse comfort. While I admit I don’t know anything about horses, I do know that creature comfort is a sound practice. Thank goodness there are people like you who care about animals.
You make it look so easy and effortlessly. It’s amazing to witness the care you have for the horses, it really shows. Thank you for letting us be a part of this. Absolutely amazing video, thank you for uploading this. Stay safe all at your end 👍🐴👏✋🤗🐴🐴🐴🐴
@@olsenequinecjf you are most welcome. I don’t own a horse, nor do I know a lot about them, and the looking after they need. I used to ride as a child. Here I learn so much, and I love that you care a great deal for the horses. They are not ‘just an animal’ to you. Everything gets explained and shown, your channel is just brilliant. Stay all safe and bless you all for being ‘you’ ! 🐴❤️🐴🙏🐴👍🐴✋🐴👏🐴🫶🏻🐴

I was taught in horse shoeing school in the late 80’s that you should never use nippers on the sole. Their reasoning sounded good at the time, however there were times I didn’t have a choice. I’m so glad to see you doing this because it reassures my instincts that yes, you can use nippers on the sole safely and successfully, as long as you know and understand the hoof.
I'm addicted to these videos. No more PORN for me!

Thank you very much! It does look intimidating but is truly a painless and necessary process to keep a horse feeling and moving at their best!
Well you did a good job in butchering the heels on that horse, which will add to his lamianr wedge that he's developing in the toe.
Трудяжка и очень внимательный к лошадям профессионал!

Hi Laura!
When you know how much sole there is and know that you are safely removing sole nippers can be your best friend to save time and energy!
What a difference you make❣️❣️❤️🩹🙏🏻🫶🌹
Thank you very much for your support and comment!
Would you know a farrier in the Colorado Springs, CO area? Thanks!
You don't say much. But you are fast.
Why do you only use 2 nails on the inside? What is your favorite shoe to use on a trail horse? Thank you
