Honestly it's one of the biggest draws to living in Phoenix, right up there with the pretty cheap cost of living, relatively safe suburbs with big houses, and the lack of natural disasters threatening to destroy your house. Weather is beautiful the majority of the year(especially winter) and every house having A/C and low humidity make the hot Summer very tolerable especially if you just stay indoors a lot. Also you have so many choices of places that are a 2-5 hour drive away, Vegas, San Diego, LA, Mexico etc for vacations. Grand Canyon/Sedona etc for beautiful scenery. Also a simple 2 hour drive up to northern AZ is crazy. You go from Phoenix, the desert city where it snows the least in the country, to the evergreen forest mountains of Flagstaff aka a freezing cold winter wonderland that gets one of the highest inches per year of snow in the whole country. It's so weird. Phoenix does have it's share of drawbacks though like everywhere. But yeah as I was saying before I got carried away contemplating the pros/cons of living here, the amount of awesome restaurants(especially when it comes to various styles of Mexican food, whether it be authentic or Americanized) is so nice. And also with Phoenix being a transplant city with the majority of residents being people from all over the country that moved here, you get such a wide variety of restaurant genres and regional styles. When you go to a Pizza place here, you never know which style it's gonna be... New York, Chicago, California, Sicilian, etc. When you go to BBQ, it could be KC style, Memphis, Texas... whichever style you want, you can find somewhere around the valley. There's really nothing that dominates, it's all random
Mike's right. If you've never taken a trip in an area of this country, then you need to take one. One of the best trips I've ever taken was in the upper Mid-West and the South. Even though I faced racism (from both whites and blacks), I also received tremendous kindness. I love this country!!!

"This might be why I'm single" IMAGINE a man who would travel all over the world with you trying all kinds of food... Dude that can't be why you're single.
Tbh, Mikey's words are kinda make sense.
Not everyone want to go to world trip all the time. Going on a trip for once or twice a year is good, for a change of pace, but always on a trip all the time, and almost never at home? I don't think so.
Need a solid motivation to always follow Mikey everywhere. The first 2 or 3 months might feels like heaven, but after that?
My father ran a restaurant inside a gas station, best food in the area. That scene was super nostalgic for me x
13:09 we gotta appreciate how he put the camera down, walked back down, and then jogged back up lol
Yay! You finally tried little miss BBQ. Definitely the best in AZ! Great owners too! I hope my city treated you well!!
The worst thing about this is waking up at 3am in the morning and all you can eat while watching this is McDonalds.
Here you can not order take out or delivery at night from 0h so that is even worse
Hey man,
Just wanted to say I appreciate your work and love your passion for food and travel !
More power to you, Bruv
Love your content!! Also tried one of your hot pot kits and holy crap!! I'm am forever a fan of spicy hot pot meals 😍 you've opened my eyes to a surplus of new foods to try and so far I have loved everything, I officially keep hot oil stocked in my house at all times and pretty much eat it on everything
DUDE LETS DO A FOOD ROAD TRIP!!!!
@Joe Jitsukawa it would be an epic episode to see you guys do a good eating adventures!
OMFG ITS ACTUALLY FUCKING JOE
Yesss so glad you came to AZ ❤️ sad I missed it 🥺
Just love your videos, I always look forward to come great content to watch, and you never fail to deliver Mikey. Wow the Mexican food looked amazing 😍 that cinnamon roll though 🤤
Why am I watching this while I’m fasting for Ramadan, I hate myself 😂😂
Imagine being a vegetarian and feeling hungry while watching this
Oof. Watching vids like these while fasting is so torturous, yet I do it anyway...
@@usern4metak3ns seriously man I guess we should have filter during fasting no food videos
@@alphatango4447 i would just turn off the filter lol.
Lol I’m doing a week long juice cleanse and when I started to get hungry I instantly came here to live through his stomach 😂
Little Miss BBQ is DEVASTATINGLY GOOD... It's just a few miles down the road. Exceptionally good.
Piestewa Peak, named after Lori Piestewa, who was Killed in Action in the Iraq War. It used to be named Squaw Peak, but that name was deemed offensive and derogatory so they renamed it in Lori's honor.
The Navajo and Apache tribes both refer to their women as squaws, so I'm not sure who thought it was offensive. SMH..
@@TruthTroubadour-xi9cc honestly probably some "woke" person in twitter who got other idiots riled up with their white knighting
@@TruthTroubadour-xi9cc
Same as the n word man, don't use it.
@@ayajade6683 oh, they renamed this Peak long before Twatter even existed.
@@reallyaznokidding no, it really isn't. Did you miss the part where I said they call THEMSELVES that? I don't....THEY DO.
would love to go on a food roadtrip with him 😭 i bet he’d find all the good spots for anybody like even ppl with specific eating requirements
Everyone reading this , God bless you , you have a great healthy life 😃 and you will become successful 😍
Thank you! The same to you! ❤️
Phoenix was suppose to be a small side trip last year before my bigger trips out of country but it ended up being my only trip of the year so it holds a special place in my heart. Peak hike is a must do
Micky has a one-track mind: sees jagged rocks on a strenuous hike and compares them to brisket meat coming apart♥️😂♥️
So happy you finally came to New Mexico and tried/loved the green chili ☺️! Next time you come through most definitely try Bobs Burgers, Blake's lota Burger, and Dion's pizza...so freakin good!
I live about 4 miles from Lil Miss BBQ. That place is sooooooo good!
Thanks Mike! I found 4great restaurants to try watchiing your video in Phoenix. 2 BBQ, 1 res-ado, and Madrigal. When people come to visit I'm set now!
Welcome to Texas! You will love it 😊
Love your solo driving from Seattle to Texas. All the best for your move and enjoy your new adventure. ❣️
