Keep 'em coming! One thing I noticed is that my extractors tend to drain an area after that second day, and I really can't just stop/start. Maybe that's hi-sec? Thanks for the courage to even try this! Did I mention I'm glad you're back? 😊

Good to be back friend!! Yes that is def only in HS because the yield is way less

Just wanted to give you a thank you for your excellent walk through and instructional videos. You guys (content creators), even UA-cam didn’t exist when I rolled my main in 2009. Despite having nearly 74 million SP I’m still a newbie. Being only a casual player traveling for work I could only ever undock on holidays or other times I was near my gaming box. But thanks to your videos you’ve made the game accessible again. I now roll out of Hi sec into J space and run a combat site (c1 lets be real I still suck) hack some relics and data and even run Abyssal T1 every so often. Do I die? Sure. But at least now I know WHY I died. Before I just got podded and popped and pissed and would not come backs for months. So thanks again for making me give it another chance.

Thanks to your further videos of PI , you got me into it. I’m a bit limited because I have all skills only running on 4, but I still do ~ 25 million a day! Definitely worth to skill Into PI. I followed all your instructions. I have 4 planets only extracting and 1 planet only producing. I extract those Non CS Crystals and Noble Metals , Base Metals and Heavy Metals , last 2 don’t sell that good … but non crystals and noble metals transformed into their lvl 2 stuff (forget the names right in the moment) do sell very well. Takes me about 10 minutes A day just to launch the rockets to orbit and collect all the stuff , my alt does the space truck route to jita every day.
In the beginning I was a bit sceptic , after I reworked my planets and switched from microorganisms to those non cs crystals , everything runs well. Been doing this for round about 2 weeks . Very good AFK ISK!
Thanks to you my friend. Sorry for maybe bad English, greetings from Germany 🇩🇪

You should do a tutorial on how to set up a Skyhook and then how to rob it.
    Yarr style.

Currently testing out making only P1 without P2. For now i make more money because i just pick a planet with most availiable resources and i dont have to extract resources which are less available. also the extractor is maxed out so total yield is higher. but the downside is that your epithal is most of the time full so its harder to bring out the resources to sell. but i need to track this down for several months to be sure

I have 3 alts collection P0 making P1 on different planets, I have 2 - P4 Factories set up on 2 of my planets, I drop the P1 amounts into. A little low in High Sec, but safe, and passive about 200 million isk a week.

Shouldn't the formula in C11 be C10*7? If so, then it would be about $2.4B per month for 4 characters.

You can see at 1:20 that Loru's planets are in -1.0 NS space, this is why he can do what he does with that much profit per day. PI is very tedious in HS for 1/2 to 1/3 the profits vs NS.

    • @lorumerthgaming
      @lorumerthgaming  8 днів тому

Correct on profits, but my PI is in Pochven ATM! Good eye regardless 😌

First of all, a great video! Then a question, how do you choose the P2 products? do you have a fixed product selection for the different planets or is it random?

I have been running a similar P2-single-planet setup for over a year now. This is how I did it: You want to make a list of P2's that can be made on a single planet (all Raw materials from the same planet). Then you can check how much those P2's go for on the market (long term+trade volume) and make a shortlist of planet types you are looking for. Then you check your shortlist of planettypes against the planets in the area you want to do PI in. I would, just like Loru said, recommend a single system (per character) with preferrably a friendly or NPC station. Final step before actually setting it up on the planets is checking if the raw material is plentiful enough to produce the P2. You can do that from the Agency tab. I think Loru explained that in his previous videos too. After the first setup is done on the planet, apart from some modification, not messing with the setup all the time is what really makes the isk roll in. Unless it is not producing enough P2's and the Raw materials are off and you need to correct for an error. But don't worry about market prices fluctuating and panic to rebuild the setups. Just let it run for a few months; it is free isk. Yes, you can move the extractors a bit every few weeks. But switching over to an entire new setup on planets is a bit more costly and takes time. Just leave it be. It's the optimum between time spent, isk made and availability of the right planets. I think I used eve webtools' PI page to check P2 vs planets and it also includes current marketprices (not sure how accurate but it is a good indication).

I chose what PI to make, by what has the highest yield in the area I am setup in! Let the ISK guide you

And if so, which products on which planet do you recommend?

haha, your videos are too good Loru. I urge you to stop your PI series or this part of the game will be nerfed soon. Haha, j/k. I have been into PI for 3 years but learned new things from your videos. So really a big thank you. Also a big thumbs up for showing the access list thingy. It took me a loooong time to find out how to do that when I had to set it up. I thought it was just for corporation initally. Yes EVEuni wiki is cool and I managed to do it from those instructions, but someone just showing it ingame is much more intuitive.

in the end you must sell it, but you never will get those prizes. so absolute useless unless you use the stuff for yourself.
