Thank you Tamer. I was curious on this and your review helped immensely. I was looking to replace my OG Pride and I don't think it will be this one. Maybe polished it would work but I might just as well get the Primal Shock or the Pride Dynasty and lane shine her up. Thanks again.
I wish they would have put this cover over the primal core . I am absolutely in love with the primal shock. But the cover lane shines in the coarse of 3 games . Im a low track high tilt higher speed player. So my equivalent to most people's 5000 grit is 2000 . I rarely use shiny as it puts me into over under reaction. The primal shock at 2000 is money for me . But in a game and a half it shines and starts to get angular. I would literally have to carry two of the same balls. Bummer.
I haven't been real excited about the top left of Motiv's chart in quite a while, and I don't think the market has either. Trident Odyssey and Forge Flare were both pretty forgettable in the circles of bowlers I talk to. I've never once seen anyone using an Ambush or a Legacy either. It's hard to say if it's just a case of this strong of a ball being too specific, or if Motiv just isn't really hitting the mark on them. This one doesn't look to be changing that trend for me.
I get where you’re coming from. I think many strong balls get knocked because their purpose winds up limited for bowlers. Too strong for most conditions. People may like them as they lane shine but they may still feel a bit laboring and people go away from them. I still have a legacy for example because it works well on heavier sport conditions I bowl on. Ghost is a hit because it’s not the strongest ball anymore and being just a step down allows it to be way more versatile. I’m not 100% sure on the evoke which direction it will go. I think testing it with some shine or lesser grit will be more telling.
Love the videos. I throw a similar ball to Brian. Curious to know what his favorite ball is for house shots and when heading to tournaments and sport shots. Thank you... Dave
I almost exclusively bowl on sport shots, but I like the Zen on house shot starting out as it blends the pattern for me. For sport: Forge (strong control), Super Nova (strong defined), the mid hook is always the toughest to work out---- hoping the Sublime will work here and then I would ball down to a recently drilled Marvel Pearl.
Very forward rolling layouts for a ball that Motiv already claims does not create a large boost in diff when drilled….. interested as to why you chose these layouts? Is it something you use to test everything with?
We use standard test layouts the majority of the time. We’ve proven time after time layouts make such a small difference it doesn’t change the way we assess a ball.
@@TamerBowlingdid you ever try it? I have the ball myself and have not yet touched the surface but I’m wondering if a 3 or 4k change might yield a better reaction..
What about adding the Evoke between the Jackal Ambush and the Crimson Jackal? Keep in mind I am a power bowler with an average speed of 17.5 and rev rate of nearly 600.
best bowling review channel on youtube. Been watching for years, thanks for all the work you’ve done! Bought many balls based on these reviews!
Thank you so much. I appreciate the positive feedback. We’ve been trying to help the bowling community with no frills and just legit content.
Love the extra info you’ve thrown in. Your house shot differs kinda like ours.
Tyler creeping on that foul line. As always great video.

I may change the surface and test it out. Be interesting to see if it changes how I feel with arsenal fit.
If Baskin Robbins Wild 'N Reckless flavor were a ball, this would be it.

I agree the shock cover lane shines extremely fast. I do also have to touch it after a couple of games to keep it rolling the way I like.
Dude I have the exact same problem with the primal shock around 2nd or 3rd game it gets lane shined already. I keep mine at 2000/3000 all the time tio

Can we expect widow 3.0 review from you tamer ? Pls start reviewing these brands too
I still have a Trident Horizon. Would this slot in above that as my fresh house shot, first ball??

im sitting on a Phaze II & a Phaze V looking for my 3rd.
Could this be it? Love the colors
This is probably too close to the P2 in purpose to add I feel.
I'd like to see a video with the surface changed to 4k or 3k range, maybe someone with a good amount of hand out of the group.
May try that out. I’m curious as well.

thought it was the beach ball?
What do you think the ball would do with someone who has a higher rev rate? Say somewhere around 425?
See tester 2
How do you think the evoke compares to the Trident Odyssey? Would it be a good replacement for the Odyssey?
I feel like it’s close enough to be a reasonable replacement.
@@TamerBowling my Odyssey is still rolling well for me. The biggest downfall on the Odyssey is that it shines up so fast.

You probably can if you change the surface a bit on the evoke to let it roll a bit cleaner.
Would you suggest taking it up to 3000 Grit?
@@EyeTeeGuy3 3000 or 4000
Thanks I’ll pass on the BEACH BALL! Tooooo many light hits for me. FAIL!!!
