    Thanks for the map at the beginning. Unfortunately I missed it the first time and went the wrong way towards Argonne Dr.

    anytime you catch a snake head ur supposed to kill them

      @FlexxHunna 2 роки тому +1

      Wrong .. They advise you to kill , but it isn't illegal to release

      Yeah these people will say all day that they care so much about the environment, then they will release an invasive species back into the waterway so it can destroy the ecosystem of the native fish.

    I fish loch raven reservoir everyday and there is an immense amount of trash, it's sad. Their are snakehead in there, I've caught a lot of them. Very fun fish to catch and great eating. Idk this runoff but I guess they follow it from the reservoir. They are very skiddish

    Hey cool video. I think I might be the guy who told you about the snakehead if you're the guy I met walking through Morgan State/Montebello Rehab on your way to fish Herring Run.

    I have fished in that exact spot, and I remember seeing mostly large carp. Yes, that water has been treated and that to me is a sewage smell.

      Oh wow I’ve never seen carp in there! That’s awesome

      There’s a fisheries biologist, Bob Odenkirk. Look him up. He’s been studying these things for a while now and has good intel on releasing vs killing.

      Nice, you made it! It will probably be better when things warm up more. I was just downstream from there, by the bridge, the other day catching sunfish for flathead bait. The sunfish were definitely biting lol

    When I fished Herring Run, I mostly caught redbreast sunfish with one green sunfish and 1 bluegill as the only variety. I did see suckers in there too.

    • @GillRaker79
      @GillRaker79  5 місяців тому

      Yeah I think I’ve only caught green and redbreast before there. There was a ton under the Harford rd bridge when it was a bit more dammed up
