It's funny you should say that. Today i went to my allotment and did a lot of watering. A lovely HOT SUNNY DAY. Then got my deckchair out and sat down & put two bottles of beer in a bucket of cold water by my side with a pot of my Raspberries & Strawberries to eat. Poured a beer and sat back and watched the bees doing their thing and listened to the birds singing. Looked at all the wonderful Fruits & veg i grow. FELT MARVELLOUS i did. FELT GREAT. I'm a HAPPY GARDENER👍👍🌻🌻🌷🌷🌼🌼

We got smashed by rust on our garlic too. Was so good to see Charle’s Dowdings also not looking great! - we feel much better about ours…
And our coriander has all bolted too!!

Hi Tony, if you take the seed heads off the elephant garlic when they appear, all the energy will then go into the bulbs. Cheers.

..also look up Ancho chilies - from Smoked Poblano Chilies from Mexico. Mine are doing great. "The ancho chile pepper is the dried version of the Poblano pepper"

Tony, your garden is looking beautiful! You are way ahead of me on many things. Love that you're already harvesting cucumbers and that lettuce is spectacular. You got going on this year!

You could let your coriander go to seed and then either keep the seeds for your next crop or dry them and grind them up for ground coriander powder.

How do you manage to eat all of the broccoli and cabbages as well as all your salad crops, do you just freeze the surplus? I’ve stopped growing summer brassicas and just growing the winter varieties as we just had too much . Nice Video Tony it’s hard to keep on top of watering in this gorgeous weather ,it’s much nicer just to sit with a cold drink and just look.

Tony have you tried Early Purple Wight? I’d read if you plant in Oct you can harvest May so avoid the rust. Ours was horrendous in Norwich so might give it a go. I’m a happy bunny tho, council have let me take on the adjoining plot so now I have a full size. It’s one hell of a mess

Tony how long has that elephant garlic been in?
I think you get bigger bulbs with more cloves in the second year

Well Tony, you haven't lost the plot, it's looking grand! Thank you for the mention, glad the tapes were easier this time round 😉 did you remember to melt the ends of the paracord with a lighter to stop them fraying? 😁🌱🐛☀️

The seed strip would be easier for people with joint issues. My hands slow if cold. Which makes seeds difficult.

Red veined sorrel has a wonderful flavor, on salads or cooked & the best part is it is perennial in US zone 6b! Love my perennial veg! 🥗 Mine was slow to size up but once it did it has been a great performer in the garden for a couple of seasons! Enjoy!
