It's funny you should say that. Today i went to my allotment and did a lot of watering. A lovely HOT SUNNY DAY. Then got my deckchair out and sat down & put two bottles of beer in a bucket of cold water by my side with a pot of my Raspberries & Strawberries to eat. Poured a beer and sat back and watched the bees doing their thing and listened to the birds singing. Looked at all the wonderful Fruits & veg i grow. FELT MARVELLOUS i did. FELT GREAT. I'm a HAPPY GARDENER👍👍🌻🌻🌷🌷🌼🌼
Good for you 👍 that's what's it all about 👌
We got smashed by rust on our garlic too. Was so good to see Charle’s Dowdings also not looking great! - we feel much better about ours…
And our coriander has all bolted too!!
Glad you are feeling better the plot is lovely hope you get the other one - more videos for us🤞x
Hi Tony enjoyed today's show everything looks great I'm going to try the seeds on tape watching with interest 🥕
Hi Tony, if you take the seed heads off the elephant garlic when they appear, all the energy will then go into the bulbs. Cheers.
Wow, a man that wears white shorts for the allotment. Now that is living life on the edge!
I push the limits every day 😂
Looking good Tony ( the allotment, not you!) LOL
..also look up Ancho chilies - from Smoked Poblano Chilies from Mexico. Mine are doing great. "The ancho chile pepper is the dried version of the Poblano pepper"
🌼🌻🐝☀️🌺👨🌾 I love your garden!! Such a great inspiration to me as I am just also a gardener and UA-cam creator. l’m just harvesting my first fruits and veggies. I still have so much to learn and I appreciate your tips, tricks! Please Keep sharing! I would love to learn more about gardening from each other.
I got parsley in paper strips, they took about 2 weeks to germinate but are doing really well.
Nice harvest
I've never known a season for bolting! Stuff that doesn't normally ... dwarf kale, chard, a few carrots and I'm waiting for the rest!!
Everything looking great 👍
Great video. Love your chanel. Up beat and positive. Good to see other peoples methods of growing stuff.
My garlic wasn't great this year either, we didn't even get any scapes xxx
All my pak choi bolted as well :( the plot looks really good mate
Looking around there seems to be alot more poly tunnels up there this year? ironic that we've had the hottest summer since 76 :)
Tony, your garden is looking beautiful! You are way ahead of me on many things. Love that you're already harvesting cucumbers and that lettuce is spectacular. You got going on this year!
You could let your coriander go to seed and then either keep the seeds for your next crop or dry them and grind them up for ground coriander powder.
nice to see you having a better day tony
It feels like no one has weeds but me lol
Hi Tony that broccoli 🥦 is lovely. You could blanch and freeze some so you don't waste any of your crop. .Marion
Glad to see you smiling Tony👍
How do you manage to eat all of the broccoli and cabbages as well as all your salad crops, do you just freeze the surplus? I’ve stopped growing summer brassicas and just growing the winter varieties as we just had too much . Nice Video Tony it’s hard to keep on top of watering in this gorgeous weather ,it’s much nicer just to sit with a cold drink and just look.
Tony have you tried Early Purple Wight? I’d read if you plant in Oct you can harvest May so avoid the rust. Ours was horrendous in Norwich so might give it a go. I’m a happy bunny tho, council have let me take on the adjoining plot so now I have a full size. It’s one hell of a mess
Hia Tony not been in touch for a while but still watchin all your videos, Youve blown me away with your Calabrese/Broccoli couldnt believe the size of the heads...[do you know what variety it is? ]..Isowed my seeds on March 29th Autumn Calabrese they are ok infact much taller plants than yours but only just begining to show tiny heads. Norm in Bolton.
All looking good - the lettuces are amazing!
Hı Tony. Hope all is ok with the family. I was surprised you pulled the Coriander plants. Can't you use the seeds in cooking?
Tony how long has that elephant garlic been in?
I think you get bigger bulbs with more cloves in the second year
Well Tony, you haven't lost the plot, it's looking grand! Thank you for the mention, glad the tapes were easier this time round 😉 did you remember to melt the ends of the paracord with a lighter to stop them fraying? 😁🌱🐛☀️
The seed strip would be easier for people with joint issues. My hands slow if cold. Which makes seeds difficult.
Red veined sorrel has a wonderful flavor, on salads or cooked & the best part is it is perennial in US zone 6b! Love my perennial veg! 🥗 Mine was slow to size up but once it did it has been a great performer in the garden for a couple of seasons! Enjoy!
Hi Tony, great update thanks for sharing and take care 🙂
Lovely cauliflower Tony, their a but finicky to grow but my word, they taste so good! Not like the shop bought ones! X
Good vid Tone. That discord link has expired mate. They expire after 48 hours i believe.
Got mine from Northern Polytunnels and went for base rails. Not complete yet but a great structure.👍
BTW your knees go as a gardener as you get older ...just like a plumber
Looking good Tony :)
Elephant garlic is very nitrogen hungry. Do you feed them regularly?
Love the seed tape idea Tony, ive ordered some off Amazon. I always struggle with spacing particularly things like little gem! See how it goes!
