Perhaps he was having nightmares about kremzeek when him and the rest of the G1 transformers were in stasis aboard the ark in beast wars. It would be terrifying for Optimus to be stuck in that nightmare as he showed no sign of waking up.
I love that in Transformers: Devastation, they actually used Kremzeek's as in-game collectibles that you had to catch. They were perfect for Devastation, the one problem was that the Kremzeek sound wasn't high pitched enough, it sounded like Kremzeek was trying to whisper his name.
It always seemed to me that, had Omega Supreme simply sat silently and passively in the background, Kremzeek probably would have just ignored him, but, when Optimus Prime ordered Omega to blast off, he then stuck out like a sore thumb, thereby becoming Kremzeek's obvious next target. Not one of Prime's wiser orders, In my estimation.
I like how while prime know what he has to do, he still can’t bring himself to watch himself dissolve the little bugger. He knows that he can’t stay in one piece due to his destructive nature but he also doesn’t want to “destroy” him.

Honestly, this might be my favourite G1 episode with all its zany carnage, and Prime's 'Who's had time to think of a plan?' bit and all...also, does anyone else remember the Real Ghostbusters episode 'Adventures in Slime and Space', whose plot ran on similar lines with Slimer being zapped into a buch of mini-Slimers before turning into a huge King Kong-style uber-Slimer...? (The latter was written by David Gerrold, not David Wise, but great minds think alike, yes...?)
I also remember another episode in which they accidentally summoned a small bunch of mini demons, and after finding their beams only multiplied them, Peter had the "brilliant" idea of inverting the polarity of the beams, resulting in fusing them in a single giant demon.
One episode that obviously copies this episode is The Mighty Ducks episode, "Zap Attack". Both were written by David Wise, and share the exact same plot, albeit with a few different alterations. But then again, the episode "Bringing Down Baby" is apparently a rip off of the Samurai Pizza Cats episode, "Close Encounters of the Pig Kind". And that's originally from Japan!

I love this season 2 G1 play list. I put it on to go to bed last night, and when I woke up this morning it was still playing. Great background noise, the voice acting is very high quality, there's no cringe bad voice acting that makes me ever stop and wonder "what was that noise". I can leave this on all day and it's just bliss. Such a relaxing atmosphere. My childhood happy place.

However, the sadness the Autobots sans Inferno had gets truncated because of the ending. This episode reminds me of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles episode, "The Big Zipp Attack," where a little creature that comes to Earth has a huge appetite but gets worse whenever it eats anything made of copper because it multiplies from that.
I think this is the one time the Decepticons should have had Laserbeak monitor the entire situation and send back video. I could see Starscream criticizing Megatron's plan to disable the Autobots with Kremzeek as a failure. Technically, that was true, but the fact the surviving Autobots focused on Kremzeek worked to Megatron's advantage. So it didn't go according to plan, but Megatron kept the Autobots from learning his plans. The mishaps the Autobots went through to stop Kremzeek - a chuckle from the Decepticons. 14:00 - 14:10 - the Autobots inadvertently multiplied their problem. That would have had the Decepticons laughing like crazy. 16:30 - 16:40 - the Autobots consolidated their problems from hundreds of little ones to one big one. That would have had the Decepticons ROFL!!!
Poor Optimus, Inferno, Blaster, and Bumblebee were worn out when they dealt with the last Kremzeek. Maybe Hasbro should bring Kremzeek back in a future Transformers show.
This episode proves they could adapt to Circuit Breaker is they really wanted to. Always bothered me how overpowered she was in the comic, and how there were so many ways to deal with her. Starscreams Null Ray alone should be GG for Josie.
This was probably one of the luniest episodes in this series, it was like crossing Critters and The Gremlins 1 and 2 with a Godzilla movie, or rather a Kaiju movie. I actually like it.
First he starts off causing trouble, sucking energy everywhere he goes. Next thing you know he’s advertising his own energy drink in the comics and wearing a cloak and Turing people into ghosts as “The Scavenger.”
Thrust has a passenger cabin for Megatron, interesting! The Shinkansen bullet train doing the "worm" thing, missing it's rear engine as noticed. First time Jazz not voiced by Scatman Crothers and Kremzeek's cute and adorable appearance became a fireblast accessory for WFC Siege Refraktor recon team.

One of the more chaotic and hilarious episodes of Season 2. Love it! Kremzeek always reminded me of Gremlins.

My fave transformer toy was Omega Supreme. I was Hasbro's dream customer as I was able to get all of them. I still have all of them to this day.

Always bothered me how overpowered she was in the comic, and how there were so many ways to deal with her. Starscreams Null Ray alone should be GG for Josie.
This was probably one of the luniest episodes in this series, it was like crossing Critters and The Gremlins 1 and 2 with a Godzilla movie, or rather a Kaiju movie. I actually like it.
