OPtimus- I never get involved in domestic squabbles. Very true. He said the same thing in Starscream's brigade. Optimus makes it clear it's not autobot business whenever the decepticons are having a dispute.
Yep. If the Decepticons inadvertently hit one of the Autobots, then the Autobots are provoked into fighting back. Typical Prime procedure. And Optimus's wise words is the best example.
The results of "Transformers: The Movie" illustrates your point perfectly. In only a year's time, the entire Decepticon army falls into complete disarray without proper leadership.
Usually things tend to fall apart with starscream at the wheel (ie the Cybertron games and idw1), Soundwave sometimes takes command too with mixed results (worked well in Cyberverse, not so good in idw1), and shockwave, yeah don’t wanna imagine what’ll happen with that guy in command.
@@2bdaqueen268 Starscream needs to learn and grow a lot to become a competent leader, but he got the spirit if you ask me. Haven't checked on Cyberverse and IDW but to me Soundwave is not the type to lead a large faction, he will be more suitable to command a division (specialize in intelligence, logistics, communication) in a faction or follow order from a supreme leader (i.e Megatron). And Shockwave,...yeah, just NO.
@@daothucanh9621 he does have spirit but usually either he can’t command respect or trust from people, can’t back up his bravado, or is too egotistical, corrupt and self centered, and cause of this he usually ends up losing everything. Soundwave mostly steps up when Megatron or all other leaders aren’t available, he can do a decent job (he actually did better then pretty much all decepticon leaders in Cyberverse alone). Shocky is someone you want on your side but definitely not in charge.
In Blitzwing's defense (no pun intended), football could be considered as battle simulation modified into a sport. And, as others have said, he was the most successful and might have eventually won if all the other stuff didn't start happening. Incidentally, when Megatron and Starscream are frozen Astrotrain comments that it's -470 degrees. Absolute zero (0 degrees Kelvin) is about -460. While absolute negative temperatures are possible, they're actually HOTTER than normal Kelvin temperatures, meaning the two wouldn't be frozen.
I thought whilst watching it that those football terms translated rather well into military tactics. I'm British and hate sport so I don't know how many other terms might be viable too, but sport is essentially just civilised war so probably quite a few :P It's cool (pun absolutely intended) that they got the temperature Astrotrain states so close to actual 'absolute zero' though. I'd guess that might've been deliberate, given how cartoons often use hyperbolic values for effect. Whether or not they froze would be down to a bunch of other factors too though, and since we're talking about giant shape-shifting alien robots... yeah :P But why did Megatron freeze so much faster than Starscream? Screamer knew it was coming so I guess he could've bumped up his internal heating system, but you'd still expect the leader of the Decepticons to be able to do the same in an emergency, and be well-engineered enough to withstand the cold longer... 🤔
A goofy episode for sure but it still makes me laugh. Blitzwing throwing the coach in a locker and saying, "Wait here at your desk." And Astrotrain trying to get his astro-force to work was great. Thought it would have been a great reference if they had actually been that combiner train force that never got released in the US. But maybe the writers didn't even know that was a thing. This really shows the triple changes were not fit to lead. Like Megatron said once, "You couldn't lead androids to a picnic."
Blitzing completely crushes prowl and he is fine a few minutes later. In the movie he gets shot once and dies. I guess they were still trying to sell his toy at this point in time.
@@DamagerZeOptimus prowl was never the same after this episode, being run over by a tank couldn’t be repaired properly and one shot by Scavenger did him in.
It's likely that the Korean animators were tired and drew in their sleep or someone didn't indicate clearly on the dope sheet for the animation WHICH character was supposed to have his mouth animated! From that angle, they didn't have to animate the coach's mouth when he was giving into Blitzwing's demands! I honestly don't know WHY they animated Blitzwing's mouth anyway other than may a) they were tired or b) have SOME motion for those few seconds since the coach clearly wasn't in position for us to see his mouth! I have a feeling a scrub animator did this scene. They upped their game in Transformers The Movie (1986) and made fewer mistakes in that film.
@@AvengerII Most of the cartoon was made by Japanese. And it isn't entirely the fault of the animators. This is the result of the poor communication between Hasbro and the studio, between 2 different languages, and also, the rushed schedule. Loudmouthed, belligerent and brash. Ability as a Triple-changer to rapidly transform makes him one of the most dangerous Decepticons." Megatron easily put some of his most top ranking and lethal warriors in their place. Showing why he was the supreme leader of the Decepticons through eternity.

With friends
Good times seeing the autobots roll back then.made you wanna get in your ride and blast some good 80d rock and hiphop
I like how without Megatron they have no real tact or direction. Megatron is a tyrant, but he's built to lead the decepticons for a reason.
He's also the only one with the most power to put an end to usurpers. 19:42
Say what you want about G1 Megatron, but anyone who can win a 10 man brawl like that deserves some respect.

Definitely one of my most favorite lines from the show
1 of Optimus Prime's best lines no doubt.
Was very nice of the other Autobots, even Tracks who cares about his looks, were willing to stack themselves into a throne for Optimus.
"Wait here at your desk!"
😂😂😂😂
Blitzwing rules!
This has got to be one of the best episodes ever! 😂😂
I'm British and hate sport so I don't know how many other terms might be viable too, but sport is essentially just civilised war so probably quite a few :P
It's cool (pun absolutely intended) that they got the temperature Astrotrain states so close to actual 'absolute zero' though. 🤔
Huh I mean you right
The funniest part of this episode is the implication that Megatron is less the leader of the Decepticons, and more their tard wrangler.
I love how the other Decepticons in this episode are just betting on who wins the big infighting battle
Astrotrain:STEP ON THE GAS!
Astrotrain: NOOOOO!!!! HIT THE BRAAAAKES!!!!
12:58 Thrust: Astrotrain couldn't lead rats to a garbage can.😆
Hilarious episode! Autobots kick back and watch, while Decepticons knock each other out for leadership! 🤣
14:22 The best exchange of dialogue in the whole series
“5 points at least.”
“I must thank my advisor for such great strategy.”
“With an assault of my long bombs ill totally level this city in no time!!”
A goofy episode for sure but it still makes me laugh. Blitzwing throwing the coach in a locker and saying, "Wait here at your desk."
And Astrotrain trying to get his astro-force to work was great.
No, Blitzwing still lived, as he appeared in season 3.

Everytime that Trailbreaker uses his forcefield, it's done in a different way
Lets say Trailbreaker is unique in doing his forceshields in a fictional way.
I like it when sometimes a character mouths another characters lines lol.
When you translate a scrip in English to Japanese, there will be mistakes. You should know that animator is a very harsh job. They work long hours with little pay.
I like how Optimus' trailer appeared out of nowhere and disappeared into who knows where as well.
