with older ben 10 games I kind of got why ben was limited to a certain amount of aliens due to gameplay being stage based, and the console hardware being limited back then. But you'd think that with this being open world and consoles being a lot more advanced nowadays that they'd be able to include all 10 aliens by now with the possibility of adding more as DLC. I mean just look at the Lego games
maybe dlc's will come with more aliens

That's rather disappointing that Kevin's aliens are literally just carbon copies of Ben's. They could have at least given them different styled attacks that do the same effect. Kevin is more ferocious than Ben, so him looking physically more dangerous with his attacks would have been cool. Also, why make a Ben 10 game when there are less than 10 transformations available to you?

well kevin has 2 unique aliens but even then Kevin is basically only for 2 player so it makes sense that he would be like Ben
Well,Ben 10 protector of earth only had 5 transformations and it was an amazing game
Maybe they didn’t have the space to make the aliens or time since they made the game so open world and the chunks load in before you go to them soooooo idk
Mainly because they chose the more widely known characters and popular ones, and Bronze said Kevin is only for two Player so then the two players can have the same experience.
Why is he called Ben 10 if we can only transform into 6 aliens?

Honestly,in a bit disappointed they basically gave Ben and Kevin the same aliens. Ben should keep his roster but Kevin’s roster should be:
Bootleg
Undertow
Dark matter
Skunk mouth
Wrecking bolt
Rush
That way (with the exception of rush and possibly dark matter) the move sets could differ and they could feel like different characters,not just re-skins of the same character
Totally agree, they shouldn't had hyped Kevin by putting him in the boxart, trailers and everything if he was going to be just player two.... but at the same time, at least it's a clever way of letting two players use an omnitrix, since in the past games there wasn't a way to let two players use two bens in the context of the game (I believe in one of the alien force games you could have the second player play as Kevin, but that's different.)

legit his roster is the way it is so they don't need to make Kevin literally useless in story mode, if they added aliens like undertow or bootleg they'd need to create whole new mechanics just so you can use them

I know Ben has gotten tons more Aliens over the years of this reboot plus tons of upgrades and stuff. But I expected to at least have all aliens and not just 6. Where is Stink fly for free roam in the sky? Or Humungosaur for combat, Or I dunno. Actually have 10 aliens as the game says "Ben 10"

Well, the show also has his aliens get replaced by other ones, to keep with the idea of him having just 10 aliens he can use, and at the point in the show that the game takes place in, he doesn’t have access to Stinkfly, but I do get what you’re saying

This game was actually great, if we ignore the reboot tv show, gameplay wise it's amazing, just the fact that I can go around the city with xlr8 is amazing, and puzzles were great, and the combat didn't happen every god damn second
If someone could mod it so we can play as classic ben 10, it would make my life
Is it weird I was kinda hoping Kevin would get different aliens, like his version of wild vine looks kinda like omniverse's swampfire

@@zayjaxthefirst3309 Based on the Omnitrix, Power Trip (if it was canon) would take place in Season 3. In Season 2, He lost Wildvine, and Overflow. Whereas in Season 1, Upgrade sacrificed himself, destroying the Galvanic Mechamorph DNA Pod.

Question, when Shock Rock overloads machinery with his powers, how does that work with Thornblade?
Yeah Thornblade is a copy of Wildvine not Shockrock
Maybe he ties them up and breaks them since kevin is a brute version of ben

Number 1 flaw with this game, if I have to point it out is that... there isn’t 10 aliens. I realize designing ares and puzzles on the map for each and every alien would be annoying, and possibly not even worth the effort, but it’s literally Ben 10. Why isn’t there 10 aliens? Its like having a game about Superman, but you can ONLY play as Clark Kent, with zero Superman action.
This game is sooooo fun on the switch, I can't stop playing it, so glad I bought it off of the e'shop.
To be honest one complaint I have about this game is that instead of adding thornblade for Kevin to makeup for shock Rock they should have added bootleg instead.
